They are a criminal racket. Never really informed me about the fee paying extension of the Free Prime Trial. Stay away, it isnt a legitimate business and will Scam you.

We were left sitting on costs in true Scan fashion. We were entitled to our money because our flight was canceled. We were put off and delayed for ONE YEAR. Then nothing was done. Called several times and tried to get our compensation somehow. The people at Opodo were not very hopeful, slick and always made excuses. The number for refunds was changed several times during the period, so that we had to start all over again. Then at some point they claimed "money has been transferred". Nothing arrived. Opodo couldn't/wouldn't say to which account and when at all. At some point simply nothing more. The previous email address at Opodo has now also been deleted. A complete scam.

Opodo is a scam company that preys on unsuspecting customers. **What happened: They sneakily auto-enrolled me into a dodgy subscription service without my consent. For over a year, I didn’t receive a single email or notice from them, yet out of nowhere, they charged me £90! The most infuriating part is that there's no straightforward way to unsubscribe online—you have to call them. I called three times to unsubscribe and was repeatedly promised a confirmation email, which never came. They even promised a full refund, but surprise, nothing happened. It wasn't until I threatened legal action that they finally sent me the confirmation email. **What you can do: This company is unethical and deceptive. I strongly urge everyone to avoid Opodo. Boycott companies like this and drive them out of business. Don't let them get away with these shady practices!

My flight got cancelled EU - New York . I had to rebook at my own costs and 10 month later I still didn’t get a refund for the cancelled flight…..

Unreliable company. If it would possible I would give zero stars 1. No contact email - none of your complaints will have written documentation. After I insisted to have an email address I was given an intentionally wrong one (“address not found” when I tried to send). When I managed to find a correct address (not from their support, just based on a knowledge how real email address should look like) - I received a notification, that my email was blocked due to their organizational setting. 2. Nobody responds to chat - I waited just of interest for more than 2 hours - nobody! 3. The only way to catch the support - international call to UK line with waiting time of 10-15 minutes at least 4. “Member benefits” and service fees in addition: You pay 89 euros membership fee in order to get 50 euros off for your first flight (they call this “member welcome discount). Still 49 euros saving? No! My flight was rescheduled by an airline and didn’t suit my needs. The airline suggested an option of a full refund and did it. Opodo charged 36 euros “service fee” without even thinking to suggest me to use 50 euros that they actually took back once the flight was cancelled. The simple calculation is: 89 euros membership minus 50 euros discount, that I didn’t use, because the flight schedule was changed and I had to cancel = 39 euros. 39 minus 36 =3 euros! This is a great discount! 5. Membership discounts - yes, Opodo suggests a discounted flight from Cork to London in just 104 euros per person (Aer lingus) but it’s 35 euros if you go to Ryanair website. Or maybe a discounted flight from Dublin to Berlin in 324 euros by Aer Lingus instead of 131 euros by the same airline if you search in Skyscanner? I cancelled my membership and I try to make as much as possible people to be aware of the scam, that Opodo does.

Terrible customer service. Flight tickets are not issued until after your flight date. Then they hide fees in the small print and help themselves to your money at a later date for a surprise subscription that you neither want nor need. They offer a partial refund but only if you do not cancel your subscription so that they can rip you off again at a later date! Avoid at all costs.

do not use and instal this application , they tax you extra cost without having your agreement . do not send them your card data . very unhappy with this application

Opodo is a fradulent company and doesn't honour what it promises. Their prime membership is a drain of money and they fool gullible customers without providing a basic minimum services. Their customer care is the biggest haux as the back office in India and the employees there didn't understand basic asks easily and waste customer's time unnecessarily without providing any resolutions. I will give a ZERO rating but had to give ONE STAR as thats the minimum here.

a massive scam with opodo prime, the auto-renew doesn't warn you and is set to off for notifications as default. charge me £89.99 and say it is not refundable even though it for a year's of service that I will never use. don't use this scam company

Cancellation fees and promo fro prime is done by phising. Extremely bad experiences and loss of monies with out proper justice..Stay away from Oppodo. By any means.

I recently used Opodo in June and despite cancelling the trial over the phone 10 days before the expiration date, Opodo took the full charge for a prime subscription from my card and now refusing to refund stating it is my issue. The customer service has been appalling, I have had to send chaser after chaser emails as when you speak to the team on the phone you are made out to feel like a liar and guaranteed an investigation to get a phone call back within 2-3 days from management level. I am still awaiting this phone call. If they actually listen to the recording its is very clear that I did in fact cancel and a refund is indeed required, but they are quite happy now that they have the money in their account to ignore any facts or information sent to them and pass off the blame as mine. Be very cautious if using this company I would not recommend!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent booking experience. I purchased a ticket for [destination] (not the cheapest option), but unfortunately, I may have made a mistake when entering the email address on my account. When I contacted customer service to request a change, I was informed it would take an unacceptable 21 days to update. While one advisor offered a discounted membership and voucher (which seemed useless given the circumstances), another advisor inexplicably signed me up for a £69.99 Prime membership without my consent. I have already disputed this unauthorized charge and sent a complaint email, but your response was simply an excuse, citing non-refundable terms. Finding myself enrolled in a service I never requested, and with limited options to fix my booking issue, is deeply frustrating. This experience has completely eroded my trust in your company. I will not hesitate to use alternative travel providers in the future, even if it means paying slightly more.

If I could give zero I would. Unbeknown to me, I'd "signed" up to opodo prime membership when I purchased a ticket through their website in 2022. They told me as I'd opted for the 'dicounted' price, it activated my opodo prime membership. Fast forward to today, I received my credit card statement, showing a payment for a membership for oppodo prime. It was on a card that had been completely cleared so had zero owing. I called the Oppodo who told me I've had an active membership since 2022!!! So I've been unknowingly charged for 3 years without my permission! That's £210. I asked for a refund to which they responded they are unable to offer but as I good will gesture, they will give me £25 and £90 flight voucher in credit. I told them I was not happy with this and they refused any further assistance. I told them that they need to cancel my subscription immediately to which they said they can't if I'm receiving the £25- bare in mind they've just taken £70 from me on 3rd July for a years subscription! I was told I can set a reminder on my app- which I had no clue existed until today! They claim the subscription gives you discount of up to 40% on flights and hotels. Utter LIE!! I booked flights to Ireland for 2nights through another company and it was £75 return, same flights and dates on Oppodo were £140 and that was WITH my discount membership! This company is fraudulently signing people up to subscribing an auto renew membership that offers NO SUCH DISCOUNT. I will be contacting relevant companies and credit card companies to investigate further into how this illegal company can operate by being allowed to swindle money from people! Disgusting. Do not use them thinking you saving! You are not!!

Poor service with no clear instructions on how to retrieve a card from the website. Please avoid using it. The customer service team has no idea how to retrieve the card and the management is uncooperative.

do not use this sit to get flights . they will charge you extra after a month or so without even telling you and without your permeation. it is a scam.
