AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Cancelled subscription 3 months prior to renewal by phone. Customer service kept informing us of all the benefits. After 60 minutes on the phone, insisting we wanted to cancel. They agreed. Also cancelled subscription via their website. In June they took a renewal payment (even though cancelled subscription!) Have now spent over 5 hours (over the course of 6 phone calls) attempting to get a refund and been told every time to wait 72 hours and I should receive refund. Nothing received! Worst customer service, terrible customer care, highly advise anyone NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!

Opodo is saving card details and putting in subscription themself. I was so shocked that they put on subscription. I called and cancelled but still doubt they might take money from the account. Ridiculous customer service , no flexibility options, service agent with poor communication and understanding skills explaining bla bla but literally doing nothing. Big scammers They should be banned from UK . Airlines should stop giving them access to sell tickets

I have been waiting for a refund for 10 months now. NOTHING from Opodo. Same story on their chat support...they keep passing me from one to another agent saying wait 72 hours... for almost 10 months now! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!

These people are thieves. Don't give them your credit card. You will end up buying their products without you even knowing it.

We took the "Cancel for Any Reason Guarantee", and after we canceled because of strikes, we tried to claim the reimbursement from OPODO. It was a nightmare, after several days of trying to reach them we finally gave up. Basically this is how these scammers take your money, their strategy is simple: the entangle you in useless chat discussions, emails and calls with Indian call centers who purposefully follow predetermined scripts to make you lose time and energy. I find it unbelievable that OPODO is allowed to operate in the EU.

I still haven't heard a thing from Opodo regarding my refund. It's been 2 months now. I'm guessing no updates, no body is doing anything. I know what's going to happen, when my cancelled flight date comes around, Egyptair and Opodo are going to say it's a no show. Absolutely ridiculous. And i am so terribly disappointed. I feel I am getting nowhere and it just makes me frustrated writing emails all the time. Well they've lost a customer who frequently uses Opodo and Egyptair. I've never had an issue until now and I personally feel extremely disappointed. DO NOT USE OPODO

scammer company, beware, do not buy a ticket with your credit card on this site, then this is where you will lay down your credit cards, 200€ opodo taken from my credit card without my permission, so opodo is a real scammer

It's a scam. Don't purchase from them. Even if they or the airline cancel your booking they will take a few. They are disgusting and fraudulent.

I bought a round trip flights from Opodo. I saw that in 30 days they will charge me for the Prime membership which I forgot to chancel in advance so I say it's fair that they charged me for it. However, during check-in it appeared that my outbound booking did not include checked-in luggage. I called Opodo and they ensured me that I have checked-in luggage and if I am to pay something at the airport I should get a receipt and claim it to them (this took about 40 mins). I was charged 30 EUR for the luggage and took a receipt. After another 40 mins on the phone I was able to submit the receipt for a refund. I was supposed to be reimbursed in 10 working days which did not happen. I spent another 45 mins with them trying to get my money as it is just a matter of being accurate and actually providing a service and not just scam people and hide it behind a bad service. Month and a half later I am not refunded. Decided that I don't want to wait until my membership is to expire as I don't want have anything to do with Opodo and I don't want to forget to cancel it on time. So I called them to cancel and they started suggesting me 30 EUR to be paid on my account and a 90 EUR voucher to use with them. I rejected and insisted on canceling. They said they cancelled it, but I don't really believe it. I also deleted my account in the app. I hope I do not get charged again then the membership is to be renewed. Do not trust Opodo!

They charged me approximately £60 for being a Prime member but I found no benefit. Opodo is always more expensive. Don't trust Trust Pilot either, it's fake.

What a joke this silly broker is. After clicking confirm and entering my credit card information a pop up showed up telling me my flight is now 80EUR more expensive. I just went to a different broker and paid the original price. I will now forever remember to stay clear of these jokers.

I booked flight tickets in February from Opodo with their 30 days free membership trial. When I contacted them to cancel my trial, they offered me a lucrative deal of two vouchers, one towards the flight booking and another towards flight plus hotel booking. I became member and paid the fees. However I never received those vouchers. I keep on calling them, I’ve made numerous calls ( more than 10 times) since march. I’ve never received those vouchers. Every time I call them, operator sitting in some foreign land apologies and ask me to wait another 24-48 hours. I feel sorry for those employees. I’ve not yet received vouchers. I also asked to speak to manager and they said he would call me back within 24 hours but never received a call. What a waste of time.

Opodo insnared me in a fine print Ts&Cs operation called Prime Membership costing £89.90 after booking flights. The membership charge was sent to my credit card company without authorisation 30 days after the free membership expired. The T&Cs were in very fine print and I ended up paying over the odds for a flight booking. My credit company contacted me to say that the payment was fraudulent but subsequently I was unable to dispute it as Opodo claimed I had agreed to their terms. Call me naive but Opodo is a company operating in bad faith. I can't imagine may customer have anything to gain from the 'membership' they offer. The staff at Opodo were very polite..

don't buy flights on this site by any chance, last year I took a flight to Germany and today I took 100 e only because I bought one ticket and they automatically stole my money and now they won't give it back, so be careful and don't buy!!

The company are completely non transparent in how they operate. Having booked 2 flights with them I have now been charged £89.99 for some subscription which I did not request. Their customer services are appalling and tried to fob me off with flight vouchers instead of refunding me ther full amount. I have no invoice for this charge, no receipt and no email to tell me it was being charged. A very corrupt practise.

its a scam - simple as that! you buy a cheap flight and they automatically sign you up for an annual (auto-renew) subscription called Opodo Prime, which is £60. They send you emails to confirm the subscription, which most people wouldn't read (why would you, when you already have your flight confirmation email) - and they use these emails as evidence that you "should" have known what you've been signed up to. No chance of getting the money back, but I'll never use Opodo again

Last week i was appauled to find out that Opodo has charged me for the renewal of my prime subscription despite me never consenting to this. I have the most awful experience with this company and I would never recommend it to anyone. Last year, i signed up, and for the first couple of bookings everything was fine. Then I began trying to book two flights, from Uk to Poland and then Poland to Italy, for three people. Six or seven times i tried to book these flights, and each time after getting payment confirmed on the website, recieving an email saying the booking had failed. Contacting customer service, they told me it was a problem with my bank account, which I at first believed, despite having enough money in the account, so i tried with several different bank cards. Every time it failed, and every time Opodo told me it was my fault, it was a problem with my bank account. Ofcourse, no such problem with my bank account existed, instead, Opodo had listed a selection of "super cheap" flights on their website that were in fact "unable to purchase", misleading me and others that we were subscribing to getting a better deal. In fact, this whole episode cost me and my friends a lot of time and a lot of money, because as Opodo faffed around with its "fake" online booking system, the price of real flights continued to rise, and in the end we had to book with a different company. I was outraged and vowed to never use Opodo ever again after this experience, so imagine my shock when they forcibly take money from my account for a renewal I never asked for. I rang up demanding a refund, and they had the cheek to offer me only a partial refund with a voucher. They said they couldn't process a full refund because i had accessed savings through my account last year, which i paid for already! This renewal covers the next year, not last year, so i have not accessed any deals at all with that payment, so why they are using this as an excuse is beyond me. Ofcourse, the "savings' they are talking about are also highly exaggerated, with them claiming they saved me almost £300, when in fact the the few flights i did book were only marginally cheaper than those available on skyscanner, and the fiasco with my poland flights ended up costing me way more than they ever claimed to save me! I would never use Opodo ever again.

** DO NOT GIVE OPODO THIEVES YOUR CARD DETAILS ** A £70 prime membership they charged to MY card two weeks after my wife used it to buy flights. She didn't want the membership - never had. They emailed her before taking the money - in English, of which she understands some by ear alone. When told of this issue you'd expect any company with an ounce of integrity to cancel and refund. Oh no. Opodo finds such things as integrity old fashioned and cumbersome- As far as they are concerned using my card a second time two weeks after first use, without my agreement, isn't theft. Apparently they can do whatever they like with your money whenever they like, providing you've given them your card details. They did not honour their breach of contract in terms of communication and they refused to comply with the 14 day cooling of period under UK law. Just criminals Their customer services are dishonest, their business practices despicable. ** DO NOT GIVE OPODO THIEVES YOUR CARD DETAILS **

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Opodo, and I am hesitant to renew my membership. I had planned to fly in 7 days and found a flight on Opodo. Due to previous issues, they provided me with a £70 voucher as a courtesy for my next flight. However, when I tried to use the voucher, the site crashed during payment, and now the voucher is showing as used. I have made numerous calls to Opodo (approximately 20 calls) and even submitted a written complaint to management, but I have yet to receive a reissued voucher. Meanwhile, the price of the flight has increased by £350. This situation has been ongoing for 3 days, and I am frustrated by the lack of resolution
