“This is so disrespectful. I can't believe that this agency is still functioning. Plaese, but pleaseee don't book anything through them. They dont want to help you, they just want easy money. They hanged up on me 5 times!!! It's always the same pattern - please wait and then they disappear. I asked two times to talk with the supervisor but they just hang up again. Amazing!!! I lost my flight, I lost a lot of money. They should be forbidden and all their agents should go to the market place, to sell fruits and veggies, it would suit them very well.”

“It is a scam - after signing up for a free 30 day trial period you automatically subscribe for a year and have to pay a fee, which they charge from the credit card that you have used to pay for your tickets, without even authorizing the payment! Stay away from Opodo!”

“OPODO travel agency is a real scammer, its been 2 years now since my refund request has been registered in their portal, but still they are blaming British airlines for the delay, when I contacted BA, they were saying that the case has already been settled but still these scammers are firm on their stand saying that airlines has not responded to their request..”

“Do not use OPODO, it is a scam! They make difficult to talk with them, chat options not helpful as they are not agent. Asked to talk with an agent and said they were too busy. I cancelled the booking straight away as the booking was not what I asked for. I then realised I was charged even though the website says that the cancellation is in process. I talked to OPODO that advised they cannot refund as I have to direct this to the airline. Went to the airline that advised as booking has done through an agent I have to go and talk to OPODO. Please do not use it. Edit: According to the dictionary scam is a deceptive scheme or trick used to cheat someone out of something" and this describes exactly my experience. I booked flights, they were not what I asked, for, I cancelled almost immediately and, within my right I am entitled of full refund but according to one of the Opodo agent is not going to happen Below I am asked how easy was to get a refund: it does not look like I will get a refund, even though I am entitled to.”

“Cheated! .. I paid over 150€ for extra baggage while booking, but the airlines at check-in counter never received the money for the baggage! Called OPODO Hotline and the guy at the technical support put his hands down saying he cannot help the situation. Gave an email id to write my complaint (response supposedly in 24 hrs) but it has been over 10 days and no response to my emails. Ended up paying twice (what else could you do standing at the airport queue?) !! NEVER AGAIN!”

“thanks to this site OPODO/EDREAMS have been exposed for what they really are SCAMMERS i have been waiting one year for my refund all emails i send are ignored you can never contact them by phone yet they still try to sell flights to countries that we cant fly to because of covid please DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM OPODO/EDREAMS so many people have been robbed by them we/you have to warn as many people as you can about this SCAM thank you all and this site for exposing this scam i wonder if the staff at OPODO/EDREAMS think about all the poor people they have SCAMMED when they eat Christmas dinner i hope you choke on it thieves liars scammers scum”

“Don’t use opodo, they refuse to refund. My flight was cancelled a year ago due to COVID restrictions and OPODO has refused to refund me my money, even though I keep asking for it each time, always telling me they have escalated the matter to call back in 3 days and when I do, just useless. Don’t use Opodo. I don’t usually write reviews so this one had to have annoyed me”

“Terrible company. I have purchased a flexible ticket. By their rules, you can reschedule your flight before the 24h period prior to your flight. I had an emergency fly. I bought the ticket 3 days before the flight. Then on the 2nd day after the purchase, I had to reschedule the flight for the other date. It was said to call the Customer Service. I have called them twice, and nobody picked up the phone. I was waiting 1h31min and then 1h41mins. How am I expected to reschedule my flight if nobody responds the call?”

“My flights where cancelled in April 2020. Im still waiting for the refund... It was a big fight and many wasted hours trying to find a number to call. When I was able to talk to someone they would sympathise and say it would be sorted out and they would phone me the next day. Nearly 2 years later I've never had a call back. I have cried many tears over this. How can this company continue to operate? I finally managed to get them to agree to a refund, that was about 6 months ago.. Still processing apparently. They are blaming virgin Atlantic for taking so long. I don't believe them. Please never use them”

“Worst client service you can imagine. I normally do not write feedback - but in case of OPODO I have to in order to prevent others from having same bad experience. We booked flight to and back from US. Due to COVID situation this could not happen. Luckily the flights were changed in schedule, so that we could claim refund. After endless calls with incompetent Helpdesk from OPODO we managed after more then 6 months to get our money. And this was only thanks to the professionalism and flexibility of United, which refunded in spite of not having received a refund claim from OPODO. We had to directly manage this with UNITED, as OPODO was not able to. So tx to UNITED and never again OPODO! Keep away from this company if you do not want to lose a lot of time when something goes wrong!”

“I took a plane ticket 4300 aed flight from dubai to manila with 2stop over.. When i went to airport on the flight day they refuse to give me ticket pass due to issue in malaysia terminal transfer issue..due to that i came on airport customer service for help...he told only your option and the one who could help you is to rebook from the agent you bought the ticket as i told through online opodo.ae i purchase it..then i call hotlines but went badly..all the numerals are not working..till now i still chasing to whom i can speak for request of my refund..it was fun that the apps i downloaded in my mobile was still updating my flights that i wasnt been inside that plane... Merry Christmas to opodo staffs!!you can celebrate with the money you took from not on me but many of us...Good luck to your management...”

“I WOULD NOT GIVEN EVEN ONE STAR, FOR THIS TRAVEL AGENCY. I AM FOLLOWING UP MY REFUND LAST 6 MONTHS, UNTIL NOW THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM OPODO. EVEN, NO ONE ATTENDING THE CALLS. EVERY TIME STEROTYPE REPLY FROM AGENCY, IT IS SO ANNOYING. Please never choose this websit to book the tickets. Moreover, for my case, airline cancelled the flights & there is no my fault at all. Please dont choose this travel agent. if choose, you are the loser.”
