“From start to finish the process has been so much easier than expected. Read so many blogs, web pages before doing and was hesitant at first. Now... 1 month down the line I have 20/10 vision in both eyes and it has been a great and rewarding experience.”

“Having laser surgery was something I had wanted to do for a while, but I felt that I always had other priorities for the money. As I'm 40, I felt it was now or never. I was very nervous before the surgery, but all staff in Edinburgh put me at ease. Jamie from Kirkcaldy store even phoned me 2 days before to wish me luck as he knew I was nervous. There was no pain whatsoever during the procedure. The procedure only lasting 15 mintues in total, was not what I expected and I would do it over again. There is slight discomfort afterwards and it does feel like grit in your eyes, but this does pass and after a sleep you feel much better. After a month, my vision is great and I can honestly say that it was well worth it. The after care is also excellent and Jennifer makes sure that I am using the drops when I should. I would recommend Optical Express and I look forward to many years of vision without glasses.”

“on my first day after my laser eye surgery when i woke up i could see to tell the time and the following days just got better and better i was seeing way more than i thought possible its sooo awesome!! i wish i could express more how it feels to finally see what ive been missing all these years but it can't be put into words.”

“Excellent service by all the staff from initial consultation to final checkup. Initially uncomfortable but not unbearable but within 4 hours able to move around the house. The final result was well worth the initial discomfort. I was able to drive the day following surgery and able to return to work on a computer.”

“What a wonderful thing to wake up in the morning, every morning, and to have perfect vision with no faffing with contact lenses or worrying where I have put my glasses! No longer do I have the dry itchy eyes of someone who has worn contact lenses for too many long hours at a computer. It is FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE and I love it. Thank you Optical Express.”

“Wow. What a difference Lasik makes! From -8.5 in both eyes to better than 20/20 vision. You cannot put a price on that. Just simply lifechanging and I cannot do anything but recommend this procedure and Optical Express to friends. The staff pre and post surgery have been nothing but professional and excellent in their knowledge and care. Thank you optical express!”

“Before having surgery I was unable to see without contact lenses which were uncomfortable to wear. Now I can see in HD!!! i have perfect vision and would do it all over again and reccomend it to anybody.”

“Would recommend Laser Eye Surgery to anyone. The procedure last less than a minute and whilst its not the most enjoyable experience, it doesn't hurt, it isn't uncomfortable, therefore for all that minutes work of strangness it is totally worth it.”

“Laser eye surgery was something I had thought of at various times over last 10 years or so. A colleague had it done last year and I decided that this would be the year for me. Just wish I'd had it done sooner, can't believe how good my distance vision is now. It is going to make such a difference, no more fiddling with lenses and especially good on holiday for swimming etc. The whole experience was very good, staff very friendly and helpful and the procedure was nothing like I had expected. It was "weird" - like watching a surreal film, but couldn't feel a thing. Some discomfort and "grittiness" that night, just went to bed with my goggles on and slept, but wow, the difference the next morning!! Amazing. When attending for post op appointment, I could read lines on posters in the waiting room that my husband had difficulty with! (Have had to buy some weak reading glasses for some close work, but was to be expected due to my age, at least I can increase the point size on my Kindle for reading......) Thanks Optical Express!”

“it's difficult to swim with strong glasses or contact lenses - to the extent that I never learned to swim more than one or two lengths. Laser eye surgery has enabled me to take swimming lessons and to complete s mile swim in open water and a number of triathlons. I should have had surgery years ago when I was playing rugby.”

“On the day of operation I was very nervous, but the staff were friendly and comforting. The result after the Op, I experienced everything which was pointed out such as watering eyes etc, but that was over within 5 hours. My vision the next day was amazing, however I am still experiencing dry eyes from time to time and at night time I have starbursts and Halos, which I hope will go away in a few months. My check ups have been great, very informative and all my questions answered.”

“After the vision settled down in the first few days I could feel a great improvement - my vision was better than ever and the discomfort went away within a few days. I would tell anyone who has the surgery not to worry as within a few days they will be extremely happy that they went ahead with the surgery. It makes a vast improvement to your quality of life. :)”

“The whole procedure, from my first consultation, through to the surgery and then the after care I've received, has been brilliant. The customer service I've recived has been consistently great and I've been really impressed with everything. I've recommended it to everybody I know who wears glasses and my sister and a friend have now gone ahead with surgery as a direct result of my recommendation.”
