I today had reason to contact opus regarding a recent invoice. I called on the landline and was greeted by Mo Miah not only did he resolve my queries he also emailed me the outcome..a 5 star service that deserves a mention

Bunch of Thieves. They charged us all the way during the lockdown on normal usage profile and it is a lot of money they owe me now. The business was shut and all the plant & equipment were switched off. The are denying anything wrong and want me to hire an engineer to find a fault at our premise at our cost and provide them a report.

Avoid at all costs - chasing payment and did credit check on me and never been a customer!!! Still not replied to numerous emails Received an outstanding bill to our business address for another company at another address but somehow their credit department linked our company with another one and are chasing payment! Despite doing a quick google search I managed to find the other company. Phoned the company then they said they couldnt speak to me about it due to data protection, despite us now being chased for payment. So tried emailing (several times), included screenshots of our company and the company who is owed money and then received a pathetic email saying it was with the change of tenancy team. I am not and have never been (nor will be) a customer. Still waiting for a reply to numerous emails and today I have discovered they have done a credit check on me, despite the person who is owed the money being a different name to me. This is now on my credit history! Absolute shambles of a company and disgraceful they cant reply, apologise or sort out the issue! AVOID IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE!

Bunch of clowns all in one office. No one knows, what they doing. From today, I shall refer to them ... ... as HOPELESS ENERGY....." NOT OPUS ENERGY

Can anything be done with this company , a bunch of robbers , charged a fortune , my shop was closed through COVID still got a horrendous, high bill. Crazy they have made me so ill .really don’t know what to next !! At a loss

Shocking customer service, scare tactics and scammers. They are charging me £1600 for 3 weeks of electricity on a building that was closed and unoccupied. They have no way to prove why it’s so high but insist it’s correct. When I dispute the numbers they threaten debt collectors, they then send a final bill that I pay and then weeks later they claim to have made a mistake and request another £1200. Avoid at all costs.

FRAUDSTERS AND SCAM ARTISTS: a guy calls to try get you to renew your contract. You say an enfatic NO! He goes ahead and renews the contract anyway under a person's name who doesn't work for the company or live in your house. Opus energy are the most revolting scammers. Stay well away from them. Don't even take a call from them. We will be laying fraud charges against their MD and CEO. Maybe then they'll sit up and take notice.

Had our electricity supply with opus started of ok then our monthly bill doubled without any explanation now we have moved premises and they are still hassling us telling us they won't except that we have moved premises unless we give them our new address absolute knightmare of a company to deal with

The worst gas & electricity supplier we have ever dealt with in my entire lifetime. Moving into the property on the electricity account, we wanted to switch supplier and Opus did everything they possibly good to delay this and not grant the switch, despite being new tenants to the property. We had to restart the switch 3 times, which covered a period of a few months, just to leave the electricity account. For the gas account, they are charging ÂŁ1.50 per day standing gas (we don't have a gas supply in use, so no units used) and we've asked them to remove the meter. We then had to pay a further ÂŁ120 to get them to remove the meter (which we are still waiting for it to happen). Meanwhile whilst we wait for our paid appointment to remove the meter, which can take up to 10 months to arrange apparently, they will still continue to charge us ÂŁ1.50 a day, they've got us over a barrel, absolute con artists milking us for hundreds of pounds and it's out of our control.

There should be a social media awareness against this thugs, The Higher authority of energy supplier should take dismissive action against this brutal company of robbers, very unprofessional, rude , greedy, and they will keep you and your business into hostage during this pandemic and BILL you estimated as much high as they can , no solution , just threatening you will get in reply, AVOID at all COST

Do not bill accurately despite submitting own meter readings and doing all we should as customers - has taken months to sort and taken to ombudsman

I was contacted by a company called Love Energy who signed a contract WITHOUT my appoval as the company was not going to help me reduce my bill but they still signed a contract sent it to Opus Energy who then held me to a contract that I NEVER SIGNED and now i have to close my business and move out. the Ombudsman took the side of Opus saying they are not at fault who have accepted a fruadelent signed contact. They doubled my charges and treated me like i was lying. Now i have to close the business I cant speak to them regardless of how many emails I get saying call them. all that Happens is that they cut me off.

Dreadful experience. Opus Energy was my tenant's supplier. When tenancy ended Opus switched me to a business tariff without my knowledge and consent. Next month my gas bill for an empty property exceeded the tenants' bill by almost three times. Customer service did not answer my complaint.
