About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Disappointed, I believe I ordered a tinted Bonnet protector but was sent a plain one.

on both the occasions that I purchased them I found the communication following my enquiriy was slow and if I had any follow-ups it was a number of days before I got a response.

Received the wrong brackets. Return was promptly arranged however the correct items took a long time to be sent. Had to call to follow up after 10 days. Despatched day after phone call.

Excited to get a dispatched email quickly regarding my AFK, tried many times to track my items during the week without success. Rang the office for an update, advised that it with the courtier. The courier stated that that don’t have it, maybe it’s has been picked up but not yet registered on the system. Call the office a 2nd time around day 10 for update, they advised me that my enquire will be follow up and call/email me with an update. Nothing for 3 days. Call the office on day 14 for an update, they told me that it’s still sitting at the shop waiting for the courier to pick up. Shouldn’t take nearly 3 weeks for delivery, luckily I have 5 days to get it fitted to my van before our 2 weeks trip. 5* for products 2* for service.

The water tank plugs arrived with no hassle but I ordered the wrong size . The threaded end is to big .

There was 2 parcels in my delivery and I have only received 1. Spending time chasing it up is becoming frustrating.

I was super happy with finding a Fiamma awning in stock and for a good price. My first phone contact was very helpfull and I was advised that tranport cost would be around $60 but could I purchase through online shop. Which I did and come to check out time transport cost was around $120 (double the original quote). Still worked out a good price so ok with that. Was advised would be delivered within a week so booked my installer to allow plent of time. After a week I called to be told for some reason it hadn't even left the warehouse yet.. Did eventually get here nearly 3 weeks after I ordered and with a slight dint to the awning.. So my feelings are naturally mixed. The dint doesn't affect function of awning and I didn't have the time to get awning replaced so have now had it installed. I love the Fiamma awning and always get this brand but little dissapointed with overall service.

Well, the people I dealt with were very nice, but the service was a little less than perfect. I ordered 2 gadgets and 2 extension cables. When my order was confirmed, only one extension cable had been Included. I emailed immediately but was told the order had already left, and that I'd have to wear the extra freight charge. I reluctantly conceded and placed the order for the extra extension. About 7 days later I did a track and trace and found my first delivery was en route, nearly with me, but the second had no scans recorded. On checking with you the order hadnt left yet, 7 or 8 days later!! Not happy, but all good now. First order recieved, waiting on second part.

Dispatch sent two wrong size privacy screens all together but on contacting your office they were replaced with correct size

Unfortunately the parcel was damaged and has to be replaced and returned I am still awaiting the replacedment

They notified me that my delivery was going to be delayed. Unfortunately they delivered the wrong item to me. I was able to return item with full refund with no problems. Unfortunate circumstances but good professional service for the situation. Above all I would shop there again.
