“I have had the worst experience with this company. They take your money, deny your claims and give you a hard time refunding you. I have waited over 45 days for a refund and still have not received it. They are trying to change bogus fees to avoid refunding me my full about due. This is the worst and I would never refer them to anyone.”
“THE only truth about this company is that they take my autopay is taken out each month!!! I purchased the best warranty possible and have gotten 1 oil change out of them. I had trouble with air conditioner and they claimed it was a PRE EXISTING PROBLEM, PAID NOTHING.
THE TRANSMISSION HAS WENT OUT CAUSING MORE PROBLEMS THAN JUST TRANSMISSION. THE SHOP THAT IS WORKNG WITH ME TO GET THIS FIX HAD BEEN VERY HELPFUL TO ME
OX CAR IS RIP OFF!!!”
“I needed repairs to vehicle and some they denied, and the would cover was about half of repair costs and told me I would be responsible for the rest.”
“This company is a bunch of crooks . They will take your money and not approve your claim. Then not give you a refund . Act like it's your fault the car broke down . Do not do business with these thieves !”
“This company is the worst warranty coverage company on the market. I signed up with them last year paying my premiums on time till my car broke down some months later. I took my car to my dealership who sent a report of my car but ox car care responded that it will take them 5 days before saying if my car could be covered or not. Toyota who is my dealership told me that is the first time after more than 40 years in business that warranty company needs 5 days before giving an an answer regarding the coverage of a customer. I had to pay $4000 for the repair of my car. I canceled my policy policy and ask for a refund of all the premiums I paid for.
They told me that it will take 45 days excluding Saturdays Sundays and holidays before starting processing my refund claims. After almost three months of waiting they haven’t yet processed my refund.
Please , please do not sign up with ox car care this company is a scam. I called the consumer protection office and they told me they were going to check this company. They will tell you the oil change is free whenever you need it but when you will call them for an oil change they will tell you to pay for it and then send them the receipt of your payment for future reimbursement. And the give only 2 times oil change per year. Everything they say in their commercials is different from what they actually offer. There is a reel misrepresentation. Please guys be careful. I went back to my previous warranty company. Zurick insurance in less than 10 minutes they will give their ok or not on a repair status. They have never denied any of my repairs claims.”
“the 75 dollars is not refundable you people need to review yells policy instead of just going about things this is why there are a CS number but I'm satisficed with my service I have DIAMOND for 5years and get 3 years free been with them. since 2022 and haven't had a problem with them , mechanic's hate us because we making sure they are not over charging of course they'll be a stall they have to make sure is going the right way. why would they refund a discounted dp i had to be 300 for both of my vehicle's for the DP, and once I cancelled my 2012 they refunded me full amount directly .”
“Total rip off. Lie about coverage. Customer service is horrendous. Was told 3 different stories about my refund which I never got. Rude ignorant reps. Stay away from this company. All I got was ripped off”
“On Tuesday, January 30, 2024 I was contacted by a customer service rep from Ox Car Care. I spoken with a young black lady last name Bradford She asked me what was the make, model and mileage of my car 🚗 I said a 2016 Nissan Sentra. It has 120k mileage she quoted my coverage of $163.00
The Diamond Plan for 5 years She said all. I need to put down was $75 for my deposit She asked me what type of credit card was I going to use I told her wait a minute I needed to talk to husband first to make sure that it was in our budget. She said No! problem that I could use my credit cards 💳 do I could lock my price in and I have up to 30 days Money-back guarantee and receive my $75 Deposit with no problem.
Ms. Bradford never mentioned a $50 cancellation fee. I asked her twice. Are you sure If I canceled my coverage with in 30 days that I will receive my full refund of $75 she said Yes! ma’am so I gave her my credit card information from Chase Bank. I was missing my VIN number and the correct mileage on my car. I told after I spoke with my husband I would call her back.
I called to cancel my overage two days later on Thursday, February 1, 2024. I spoke with Customer Service Rep. Jose he was trying to convince me to keep the coverage I told him no thank you.
He asked me why I don’t want the coverage! I told him what’s up with my husband and my husband informed me that he will be purchasing me a new car December 2024 so therefore I don’t need the coverage He said OK I’ll put you on hold and I’ll be back, after a long wait he came back and told me that my coverage was cancelled and he was transferring me to his manager Xavier to confirm the cancellation.
The manager Xavier also was trying to convince me to keep the coverage. I told him to please just cancel my coverage.
I was frustrated by then. He put me on hold when he came back. He said that my coverage was canceled on my 2016 Nissan Sentra and that he would embark me a cancellation letter on that day Thursday February 1, 2024, I no longer was covered by Ox Car Care.
I asked the manager Xavier when will. I receive my $75.
30 days money back guarantee. He told me I would not receive the $75. Because $50.00 is for the cancellation fee and I will receive only $25 back in 5 to 7 business days. I said what?
Ms Bradford never talked about a cancellation fee of $50 He said that it was in the booklet that she had sent to me on page 5 when I purchased the policy pm Tuesday, January 30, 2024 I told that I did not receive the email 📧 he just apologize and stated that it was a $50 cancellation fee
I told the manager Xavier that Ox Car Care TV commercial was false advertisement about their 30 days money-back guarantee and they need to train their customer service rep to tell the truth about the $50 cancellation fee up front before they have the customer to sign up for the coverage
Xavier the manager told me that he apologize for the misunderstanding but he is charging me the $50 cancellations fee
and the $25 refund was be returned in 5 to 7 business days back to my Chase visa credit card, That’s the total of $75 that
I was charged for deposit.
I received my coverage on Tuesday, January January 30, 2024 I canceled on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
I told the manager Xavier that it wasn’t fair because that is not what Ms. Bradford told me when she sold me the policy. On Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
He said he apologize for the miscommunication but I should have received a booklet and it was on page 5.
I told him I did not receive any booklet a customer the service rep should’ve been clear and stated that it was would be $50 cancellation fee before she allowed me to buy the policy in my opinion do not purchase a policy from Ox Car Care if you do please be aware That they charge a $50 cancellation fee.
Also, for your peace of mind, please check with your mechanic and your car dealership and see, If they take Ox Car Care Warranty see what they have to say about them.”
“Your company is a rip off all the mechanics I've been to says the same you stall on claims lie about receiving claims create a bunch of obstacles and road blocks and then deny claims and rather smugly at that all you are is a glorified road side service no wonder your company only gets 2.7 rating”
“They Suckkkkk. Do yourself a favor save 200+ dollars a month and go to someone else. They aren’t going to help you in car repairs like they say. Your paying them for no reason basically.”
“Tired of the lies that carscam repair companies get away with
Take $150/month these scam companies charge and save it for the day you may need a repair./ At least the money will be there, and you won't go weeks without your car as you wait for them to reject your claims”
“On January 5th of 2024 I wanted to purchased an insurance for my sister (which turned out to be fake) for her 2013 nissan pathfinder on the same day after paying a sum of 75 dollars for the initial payment which was suppose to be a down payment to start the policy. I was told by the perauasive customer service representative that if i was dissatisfied that I could cancel it in less than 30 days. I just would have to call to cancel and I would guarantee my money back. I called in on the same day an hour later, and asked to cancel the policy. After I have read all the bad reviews this company had. The crooks has refuse to cancel. They're trying to push me into keeping it and told me not to pay attention to the low reviews.. I still told him that i wanted to cancel, but he hang up the phone on my face. this fight was continued for a whole 2 days trying to g et them to cancel the policy. Every time I called customer service would hang up on my face. Eventually 4 days later a lady decide to cancel my policy for me. Eventually they stated that i would receive my 75 dollars back, but it was never refunded. The frustration every day about when i would recieve my refund continued to be a constant fight. Ezekiel a manager supposed to be claimed I was suppose to receive the 75 dollars within 7 days by paper check when I called today on January 16 of 2024 he told the check was never sent out yet and hang up on me. I called back again a female crook told me March 12 of 2024 that's when my refund going out. That would be 2 months later. I still do not believe this nightmare and still probably wont get my refund. This company is deceiving crooks. They claimed to be a legal franchise to rob people of they hard earnings. I won; cause I'm smart to cancel fast without paying them more of my hard earnings all they stole are petty 75 bucks. I'm proceeding to court so they don't rob no one else anymore with fake promises and lies.”
““Free oil changes” not true at all. After signing up, I learned they only reimburse you for up to $50 and no more than 4 oil changes per year. My car uses, and I’m sure many others as well, full synthetic oil. Where can I get an oil change for $50? NOWHERE! It’s usually more than twice that. I’m not even sure a conventional oil change is less than $50. I have since cancelled.”
“This company is a nightmare I wound up reporting the transaction to my bank for fraud and changed all my banking info.and reported them to the bbb.when trying to get a refund and cancel policy was hung up on once had to call back and go thru 2 more people was told that deposit was none refundable and then there is a cancelation fee after over an hr the manager finally begrudgingly agreed to the refund.was told 3 to 5 business days.so we will see.”
