“The worst delivery experience ever. Waited all day for a delivery from them at 5:30pm updated tracked to attempted delivery when I rang up they told me the driver was not even on my street when he attempted delivery now have to wait until tomorrow going away for the weekend for my birthday and now one of my main presents I was going to take away with me I cannot absolutely useless service I have advised the Company I will not be placing any more orders until there is at least 1 other delivery service available”
“Waited in all day for my parcel, didn't show up and when i left my home i found a note, not in my letterbox but on the stairs in my block, they didn't even post it through my door, not to mention i was in and waiting for it. next day was a similar deal. whats worrying is coming here to find im FAR FROM ALONE! how is this shambles of a company still in business? definitely would NOT recommend.”
“Could have KILLED my granddaughter!!!
Didn’t even want to give it a 1 star rating but gave me no option, if there were minus stars I’d have used them. After waiting 3 days for my delivery & being told on the 12th & 13th that Parcelforce had attempted to deliver my parcel, which was lies because the 12th my daughter was in with the door open all day & the 13th I was in the garden playing with my 2 yr old granddaughter ALL day till 3pm, their courier, Peter decided not to try opening an unlocked gate (my daughter watched him from an upstairs window), proceed to throw it over a 6ft fence causing damage to my parcel which I now have to wait until the 26th April to get another cabinet only available online which has caused me to cancel all my custom cake orders as I do not have a working kitchen to run my business causing loss of earnings totalling over £1600, one being a wedding this week. Putting that aside there is a more serious matter which is that literally 5 minutes before he threw the parcel (a kitchen bridging unit weighing 7.5kg and the other items I had ordered so over 10kg in weight) my daughter had taken my 2yr old granddaughter inside from where she had been playing all day in the garden. Peter needs to be dismissed immediately as he didn’t know what or who could have been on the other side of the 6ft fence & this could have been such a more serious matter if she had still been playing outside & the parcel hit her!!! He could have maimed or killed my granddaughter if it had hit her. The man is an absolute joke doing something like that & I pray he doesn’t have any children with an idiot like that as a father, it’s common sense. Peter needs to be dismissed from the company to prevent anyone getting hurt by his lack of skills to be a delivery driver. He honestly can’t have a single brain cell & is going to seriously hurt someone with his behaviour. What kind of people do Parcelforce employ & look at the way the staff treat the parcels in their care and behave with such lack of consideration for human life!!!”
“Paid £16.78 for next day delivery, took 4 days to deliver.
Golf club posted on Thursday as buyer wanted it for the weekend. He got it on Monday!
Embarrassing to say the least!
Difficult to make a claim, obviously in the hope you don’t bother.
Parcelforce are a joke.”
“We paid an additional fee for Next Day delivery from ParcelForce, for a part we needed. It didn’t arrive next day, and no card left. We tracked it online, to find a note that said they were unable to deliver and it had been returned to the depot in Edinburgh. We phoned the depot, and were informed that the parcel hadn’t been delivered because the driver ran out of time! We asked about getting a refund for the extra we had paid for next day delivery, and were told that the sender would have to submit a claim! ParcelForce - if you can’t deliver for a next day service, you shouldn’t be advertising it, and if you don’t deliver because of a fault on your part, then a refund should be automatically triggered! We have advised the company not to use your service again. P.S. We do not live in a remote place. We live in a town not that far from Edinburgh!”
“This company got their name wrong.
Their name should be "Maybewe'llbringitforce". Apparently despite the fact that the parcel I was supposed to receive had not one, but TWO papers on top showing a full well printed address they said they couldn't deliver it because of "insufficient address". After calling them on Friday, saying they would deliver on Monday and that (after a very confusing phone call) the problem was solved, the same exact problem occurred. I had to call them again first and then had to find and call the depot in which my parcel was being held. I will never forget the "EH" of the operator after he repeated to me the right address, like I lived on top of a mountain, I'm in London zone 3 and, even thought they had it right, he was actin like that address didn't exist, asking me landmarks and ways that he can find me... How in the world do you do your job????? It's just one, deliver parcels, and can't read a map, can't even google it????
Eventually I was lucky, few hours after I fought with them at the phone, I coincidentally saw their van down my place and the driver hanging a couple of house ahead saying that the address on the system was wrong.
TWO sheets on a 25Kg box, with the full correct address on them.
I ordered a sticker from China, it got here easier and faster.”
“waiting for three days before Parcelforce finally decided to deliver to my local post office. Day one - text saying the deliver was mid afternoon. Dint show up. Day 2 a text showing another attempt to deliver - didn't show up. Weekend came and went and they tried out of office hours on Monday and then haver taken parcel to a post office but we don't know where? this is diabetic medical equipment and it is late. avoid these people as they don't deliver in any respect.”
“Early November 2020, posted parcel to New Zealand, it was going to be our first Christmas without three of our youngest grandchildren.
Parcelforce failed to deliver the parcel even though we were charged over £85 but the impact of knowing that the gifts which we had carefully chosen for them, and did not get, was so upsetting, I will never forget the upset this caused us over Christmas.
Parcelforce ran an investigation and confirmed the batch it was with is in Auckland and waiting for delivery.
Turn clock forward to March 2021,
dozens of emails later, only to get an automated generic replys no-one to talk to at Parcelforce, they are faceless and unaccountable!
Middle March 2021 a Parcelforce van pulls up outside and yes you guessed it the parcel was back with me. No explanation and all sweets chocolates missing, but gifts still in parcel ?
I have just received a cheque for the postage, no explanation, no apology.
There must be some kind of protection for the customer against Parcelforce.”
“Got no warning for delivery. Said delivery failed because nobody answered. Checked cameras and nobody ever showed up. So obviously no card. Just decided to check post office. If your stuff doesn't show up, check your area post office before bothering with these people. They will not give answers or updates. Went threw an entire day of rage over their incompetence.”
“Lost my package last year and STILL no refund.
I tried to send a package with them in September of 2020 that never arrived at its destination. I contacted several times and was told several times that things were moving slower due to COVID before they finally admitted they have no idea where my package is even though I sent it tracked. It's now April of 2021 and I'm just trying to get a refund for the package they lost but all I've been told for months is "We sincerely apologise for the lack of contact from our Claims department- I have emailed them this morning to request they contact you as soon as possible." While their customer service team is usually quick to respond, they clearly have no power to resolve the situation themselves and are essentially just middlemen.”
“Checked the parcel tracker and it said that they were unable to deliver again today and a card has been left to tell me what to do next!
Firstly I have waited here all day!! 2nd I have had no call card left I have checked inside the letterbox under the mat etc!!
I think that they never even attempted to deliver today! I’m guessing that they have far to many parcels to deliver so don’t want to try one that was a 2nd attempt!!!!! Sooooooo frustrating!!!!”
“got a text saying my parcel would be delivered between 14:46 and 15:46. never came. when I checked the parcel tracker it stated not delivered insufficient address information.”
“one week I was waiting for a package for Easter for my child no one was at my adress and no one left a card, my cameras did not register anyone, but this shi tty company says otherwise thank you for ruining Easter day
your employees are incompetent, saying that they were at the given address but the cameras in front of the gate did not register them”
“Had a delivery today
Spoke to both Kim and Paul based at the manchester depot and they were both exceptionally helpful
The driver Adrian was also very friendly and very helpful
No trouble at all”
“They appear totally incapable of taking any responsibility when they fail to deliver goods. Any investigation is of a minor form and flimsy at best. They are not worth considering if you are sending anything worth more than 50p”
“I sent two parcels, to my sister and my mum, in Cape Town, South Africa, as gifts on 7 January 2021. One was returned to me, many weeks later, "incorrect documentation". Very odd that, seeing that I sent it from a Post Office. The other is STILL sitting in Santiago, Chile. Misdirected. Have submitted a complaint, and a claim and I am just getting the run-around, the "oh we can't do anything" nonsense. Avoid at all costs.”
