“You fill out a form online and the reply is generic and vague as to your parcel query. If by some chance you get to speak with a staff member they sound bored and monotone in their communication. We are all under pressure during this strange time and having to deal with unique and confusing situations but does Parcelforce Customer Services have to be so dreadfully poor and inadequate in their replies? I sent my parcel out via Post Office last Monday 20th and am at a loss still as to where it is in their system. The staff member I spoke to sounded completely disinterested, I am not even convinced they are going to start a search for my parcel. If I managed my own workload as Parcelforce manage theirs I doubt I would still have a job. I never want to use their services again.”
“Do not choose this company! I am expecting a parcel from abroad which has been confirmed to have arrived already in the UK however when I go to the tracking option it is still not even marked as arrived. So apparently it is stuck in a warwhouse and all this information I know only because I finally contacted the sender company abroad! When I tried to speak with parcelforce all their employees seem utterly disinterested in helping and trying to find where it is. They just keep repeating the same sentence to try and call again! As if I haven't tried already. The worst part is that I know the parcel is here somewhere but the courier company that is suppose to deliver it doesn't know where it is! Absolute joke. I have to admit I doubt the authenticity of thier 2020 award since it seems to me that is made up to cover for their complete disorganization. It also looks like they are taking advantage of these hard times to dismiss people and not to do their job properly!”
“Do not choose this company! A complete joke! I am expecting a parcel which is confirmed to have arrived in the UK however is stuck somewhere in a warehouse. And all this information I got from the sender company. When I tried to track it here no one was willing to help and check for me. All their employees sound like an automatic machine repeating to wait and try again?! I even called Customs UK myself and they confirmed that all information is available to the local courier company only. Sounds like they awarded themselves for being totally disorganised and using the current hard times to dismiss people. I am honestly appalled!”
“I sent a parcel out on 13th June 2020 it got as far as despatch depot and that's where it stayed, it was never delivered ,I have opened a claim as yet still not resolved ,they refuse to accept proof of value which was £360 ,I have sent proof via screen shots but because this has taken so long I had to issue a refund to customer so all photo's show that the customer was issued a refund of £360 so they keep refusing to take my claim any further.
I am unable to contact parcelforce by phone as they have removed phone numbers for the claims department I can only assume due to the amount of claims they are receiving ,so all contact has to be made by e-mail ,if you ring and get through to customer service all they tell you is they can't help you and tell you to ring the claims phone number even the live talk feature on the web site doesn't work so this has been going on now for 6 weeks and still no nearer to resolving my claim, my advise to anyone is to not use this company they are shocking ,not sure how they got an award for customer service for 2020.”
“After asking parcel force to deliver to the nearest post office because they are incapable of delivering to my home I am told by the automated service (Cannot speak to anyone) it will take 4 days. This company is a joke.”
“Do not use this company. Claimed to have tried to deliver (we were in) and left a card ( no card). Finding where your parcel is now is impossible. Use DPD they offer a modern delivery service.”
“Will not be recommending, they damage a parcel that I bought privately. Then tell me that the person who sent me the item can claim, so the person who has now got my money has no broken item and will also get some money for the item that parcel force broke whilst I am left with the broken item. Not sure what made up planet they come from but this doesn't sound right.
The worst part is the have clearly stacked something on top of it to beak it but could also clearly see what it was. Not a happy customer and will defiantly not recommend this company to anyone. Customer service was shocking to say the least and couldn't understand the problem they have caused all because they couldn't look after a parcel.”
“Bought a case of wine on 21st from M&S and paid extra to have it delivered the next day. Received a text message from Parcelforce on 22nd in the morning stating it was going to be delivered between 17:15 and 18:15.
I had been tracking the parcel via the tracking number on Parcelforce's website. By 18:30 the tracking app wouldn't say the delivery time anymore, except it's 'out for delivery'.
At 19:03 a message is sent: 'Parcelforce have attempted to deliver a parcel RF7687080 from M&S Wines today and we have left it in a safe place. Our driver will have left a card informing you of the safe place where your parcel is located'. I checked the tracking app again. Supposedly the attempt was made to deliver at 16:52. Why wait 2.5 hours to tell me that?!
Parcelforce claimed it was delivered to a 'safe place', but no card was left behind to say where is that 'safe place'. Both my wife and I were home all day anyway so we would have noticed someone at the entrance.
Went around the property, checked the utility cupboards, bins, shrubs and the neighbours. Not a sign of the parcel.
I've contacted customer services and I'm still waiting for help from them about the issue.
24hrs have gone past and I'm short of 55 pounds and wine.
Avoid Parcelforce if you can.”
“Should your parcel go missing with Parcelforce, you can forget about the worthless compensation you paid for thinking it would cover you or an efficient and helpful customer service. Parcelforce admitted the loss of my parcel. They are very poor at looking after your valuable items but very good at doing all they can to create obstacles and technicalities to avoid paying compensation when they loose it. They take over two months to declare your parcel lost. When you apply for a claim they say you are out of time as you only have 30 days. If they do agree to process your claim, they insist on writing to the person you sent the parcel to to obtain a denial of receipt, even though their own tracking shows the parcel has gone nowhere and not delivered. If they do get a reply in 30 days they deny your claim. This implies that the default is that the sender is being dishonest and making a false claim. They ought to be ashamed. Avoid.”
“Find another courier
Don't waste your money or energy by using Parcelforce. They won't pick up or deliver your parcel. I have been waiting for 3 days for someone to pick up my parcel and despite half a dozen calls to the central team and the local depot they promise to come and pick it up and then don't show. you then spend another 20mins on the phone trying to speak to someone. This all started because the driver couldn't be bothered to pick up the parcel so logged it as a failed collection when there were 5 people at home! BE WARNED!”
“My daughter was supposed to get her toddler bed delivered last week by these incompetent clown. It was not delivered. She complained and was told it was delivered yesterday at 1230 pm.She phoned and they said she had signed for it.As she was not at home she could not have signed for it. They phoned and told her o check on the tracker. Funny thing after she did this it turned up at the depot in Carlisle about 15 mins after she complained. STILL WAITING FOR IT. BUNCH OF CROOKS NEVER USE THEM AGAIN”
“Absolute waste of time using this service! Don’t trust them with your packages ! You will pay extra for next day only to be told it can’t be delivered until two days later ! Daniel the manger at Newport is useless and couldn’t even be bothered to look for the parcel so we could collect ! And instead I’ve lost hundreds of pounds ! They are rude and unhelpful and I will continue to tell people how useless they are! Honestly use a different courier at all costs !!!!!! They don’t care about anything once they have been paid !!!!!”
“Sent a parcel with parcel force, paid £19.99 to ensure 24hr delivery.
It arrived 52hrs later!!!!
I was advised that they couldn’t guarantee that time after the delivery had taken place, not when paying for the service. Not happy to not be told at time of paying. if you can’t guarantee then don’t offer the service. COVID is irrelevant.
Customer service told me that I could make a claim but that basically no point as it would be declined. Will not use again.”
“said they couldn't find property which I don't believe. Everyone else has been able to find us.
Impossible to speak to anyone. Rang local depot spoke to someone who immediately hung up and then pretended they weren't there any more. I let the phone ring continually but no one picked up Wasted a second day because of the poor service by parcel force. My advice steer clear
John Jones”
“I received a parcel yesterday from a very credible company ,but my parcel was delivered ripped open and the majority was missing ,i asked the driver what was going on and he just shrugged his shoulders and was not interested ,I declined the delivery and am now £144 out of pocket .Come on PARCEL FORCE DO THE RIGHT THING AND COUGH UP .”
“Do not waste your time sending anything with parcel force. Item was wrapped correctly and broken.
After 5 weeks messing around with claim department they turn it down and blame me.
The worse part is they don’t respond and just close the claim.
Rude and unfair.”
“In my opinion you have furloughed as many workers as possible and the ones left cannot cope, instead of employing more workers. Have you ever heard of disposable gloves for workers and masks. COVID furlough and tax payers money is not for making a profit. My parcel is still in the UK and has been posted Priority Mail on the 8th July, which is 6 days ago. I complained to Customer Care only to be told I accepted the terms and conditions. How else can you proceed if this box is not ticked. Your company is honestly not fit for purpose. It misrepresents nearly every advertised paid option e.g. Priority Mail, Express, 24 and 48 hours etc. All this means is you take honest money and do what ever you feel fit with everyones parcels.”
“Delivery driver won't drop parcel off, spoke to customer service and said I've left a note on door with several instructions etc why can't they ring me when there outside. Woman from parcel force " our drivers don't have phones" then in next breath " I'll call the driver to see what's happened" this is after several failed deliveries this after I spoke to another customer service assistant days before about a failed delivery and she had "booked my parcel for redelivery" phoned up realising how shocking a delivery company is at delivering parcels I better check only to ring if my parcel will turn up only to find out.....it's not even been booked for redelivery.. customer service is the worst I've ever known!”
“Horrible service, missed collection of parcel. Re arrange delivery twice and nobody show up both days. Instead Tuesday Parcel was reschedule for collection following Monday. Try contact customer service and 12 times been disconnected. To cancel booking I was told I need pay £9 and for redelivery £7, this is a joke. Never use this company again.”
