“Parcelforce is not set up to deal with the delivery time scales they Claim they provide.
Let me give you an example, I used DHL when I brought an item from America. It cost me £37 for a 3-5 day delivery to England. It got picked up on the Monday, by Tuesday it was going through customs and they sent me an email link where I could pay the import tax in advance to stop any delays. I did this and by Wednesday morning I had my parcel. Excellent service from DHL!!
Another item I brought coming from America I had to use usps which cost $67 express delivery (fastest international shipping) 3-5 days. I thought well they must be the same as ups but I was wrong. Ups are a completely different company and when usps deliver to England it gets handed to parcelforce. Now In America the shipping was going well from usps, picked up moved from facility to facility then left America in 3 days from being picked up.
When the package got to the uk it was processed through Heathrow then sent to Coventry customs where parcelforce took over. It has already been 5 days processing through customs. They will eventually raise the charges and send me a letter, from experience this will probably take another 7-10 days. Once i go to parcelforce in Plymouth I will then be able to pay the charges and pick it up.
They should not be offering services they are sold as 3-5 days and actually take 28+ days.
I have experienced this 5+ times with parcelforce and it’s always the same, they also have “lost” two of the five parcels and eventually found them when I’ve put in a complaint, both of those packages took over 6 weeks to be delivered.
Most unprofessional, unhelpful and worst organised company I have ever experienced, Try to avoid at any cost unless you like being lied to, overcharged and potentially loosing an expensive item.”
“Tracking number IR2860798 , for all my life I've trying to avoid the swear word, But today I had to say F word , My son studying abroad and last week finally he found the time to visit me for one week, I ordered from amazon a single matress urgently for next day prime delivery, which amazon sent as described and sent me tracking number with parcelforce. And my nightmare started, next day I found that my parcel was sent to wrong depot and cannot be delivered that day, Another day tracking stated is out for delivery, we waited whole day home never arrived, later found is returned to depot and will be delivered next day, next day its again stated out for delivery, another hopeless wait whole day, not arrived, again stated returned to depot, next day same..... during that days called to customer service few times, simply sorry we will deliver next day, when you trying to find out what's going on just simply hanging the phone Finally today, Saturday went to collection point in Beckton , where I met very rude eastern european lady who after 1 hour wait informed me it's out for delivery and I have to go home and wait there, when I ask for manager to make a complain she in very rude manner told me to wait and I heard she was talking to other staff ....(now he want to see the manager) and she was laughing.....and quess what she presented me my out for delivery parcel!!!!! What kind off service that? I'm not a beggar, I've paid for that matress plus for delivery charge!!!!!
Monday my son leaving to his uni, for his almost whole holiday at home he slept on small sofa in leaving room, thanks to you parcelforce!!!! For future if I order something my first question to seller will be which delivery service you using!

“Working with Parcelforce is a complete nightmare. They consistently trash our orders, fail to deliver and then refuse compensation using any excuse to not even refund the postage. We have regular situations where our deliveries are smashed by parcelforce and we have to send replacements out which are charged for again.
In our latest cases, we have 2 separate parcels to Sweden. The first was undelivered, so I asked them what was happening. They gave me a number in Sweden to call, so I said no, my contract was with them. They promptly sent me a set of questions the answers to which are all in the consignment details. I have no idea when I will get my parcel back.
The second parcel has not left the UK and has already been smashed. I then received an email asking what I wanted to do. The parcel contained expensive wine , packed in airsacs, so of course I want it back. I cannot send out a replacement as I have no idea until I receive it what is broken and what I have available.
Again a stupid inane email, which could have assisted but did not.
A third parcel went to France, was undelivered, and then after a month returned to be with part of the contents broken. This was never mentioned before, but because the contents were liquid, and something was broken there was no way to claim compensation. Maybe the contents got broken so compensation would not be paid.
You cannot speak to anybody, their responses are written by juniors with a script and they are possibly the worst company we have ever dealt with.”
“Paid for a Saturday delivery on an important item that is keeping a job on stop. Tracked where parcel is and told that it had been incorrectly sent to Newcastle. I live in East Sussex ! Parceforce appear uninterested in resolving this asap”
“Recently sent a small parcel with you and parcel was damaged in transit. Put in a claim for the damaged parcel (pfw 2908861). What a nightmare the claims process. They started asking more pictures of the parcel pre-posting and post posting packaging of the parcel. The whole process is carefully design to deny iability. Up to now my claim hasn't been finalised but its now crystal clear to me that they are going to deny liability. Scammers!!! You have lost my custom!!!!”
“Allegedly attempted delivery twice but I've been here all the time and no delivery, no card. Someone is telling porkies! Nopw have to collect from the local depot. Nest time I order on-line if the delivery is going to be by Parcelforce, I'll not proceed with the order. Rubbish company, rubbish service!”

“Original Tracking Number JB9916908 On the 2nd September I was advised that this parcel would be belivered by Nick between 13.24 and 14.24. Someone was at our house all day. No Delivery , No Card. “My Parcel was Picked up on the 6th August 2020 addressed to Nigeria. I tried to track it for weeks it kept showing “Exported” When I rang Parcel Force, I quickly realised how badly trained they were or should I say not trained in customer service. I kept being referred to different people ie their international section, Parcel Monkey which I used to access Parcel force service. I will never use Parcel force again and would not advise or encourage my friends and relatives to use them. The service is Poor and slow the staff have no customer service experience. Very, very bad services. Parcel that I was told 4 days took 4 weeks. Parcel Force concentrate on mail delivery within UK because you do that well as Royal Mail, you do not have the experience of international Parcel delivery, leave that to DHL.”

I was sending a parcel to an elderly relative for her birthday. I have been trying to track it to make sure it got there. The system was not updated often enough to be accurate. When it was delivered all I got was that it had been delivered to a neighbour at number 2. Number 2 where? It is an isolated community the driver may know where number 2 is, as a sender I do not. The address does not have a road name. Please think of the tracking aspect and the sender more.”

“Sent a parcel out on the 25th Aug,Paid extra for next day delivery £17.95.Phoned the customer the next day No Parcel.Checked the tracking number and instead of being sent to Newcastle it ended up at Milton Keynes depot.Called the depot and a guy from customer services apologised and said he would get it sorted and send it straight away.Called the depot again today and spoke to a lovely lady who confirmed that her colleague hadn't even logged it on to process.Not Happy one bit,she as now sorted it for me today.If it wasn't for her kind help you would of got no stars.”
