Did't deliver within the time frame paid for. Items turned up damaged looking like they had been kicked from Yorkshire to Scotland. Then trying to get some money claimed back off them is like urinating in the wind. Passed from pillar to post, Now having to take them to court. DO NOT USE PARCELFORCE pay a little extra and use Hermes.

People, these guys don't respect your property at all, despite how well you've packed your item and how much boxes you've used and bubble wrap. Despite any additional insurance purchased they will destroy your item and reply will be as follows: "we cannot offer compensation on your claim due to insufficient packaging being used to post the goods". This is standard phrase to close any claim without right to appeal. They disregard any photo evidences that proving that it was packed securely, they disregard any labels, they just take money from you for such a poor service and that's it. I've sent a computer packed in a wooden framed plywood box filled with the air cushions, polisterol separators and bubble wrap so that it could survive any reasonable drop. However it didn't help, all internal components were destroyed by such a shock that even pci slots were dislocated, but the box was not intaked. They said there should be extra external cardboard packaging to the wooden box. This is ridiculous, how can cardboard be stronger than the plywood. All my attempts to get compensation were ignored, despite the fact that I paid extra £15 for the Enhanced insurance cover. I encourage all who have had bad experience to go to small claim court, may be this will help to change the situation with such a terrible service.

I received an email stating that my parcel would be delivered on Friday, 29th December. I stayed home all day. Did it arrive? NO. Late that evening I went into their tracker service, only to find that my parcel was still at their national hub, which I believe is in Coventry. I live in South Wales. Why on earth did they send an email stating it was being delivered on a specific date when there is absolutely no likelihood of this happening. The parcel finally arrived at my local depot (Newport) in the early hours of Saturday, 30th December. Obviously there was no delivery on the 30th, 31st and 1st January. My parcel eventually arrived on Tuesday, 2nd January and when I questioned the deliveryman he could offer no explanation as to why an email had been sent and made matters even worse by saying that they did not work on Friday, 29th December ???????? Unbelievable. Their tracker service needs to be updated far more frequently and timeously and if they hope to attract more business they will have to "get their act together". What a shoddy service. When my parcel eventually arrived it was delivered in a white, unmarked van, by a man in ordinary clothes (nothing to show he was a Parcelforce employee), and with a woman in the passenger seat. No wonder other logistics firms succeed where "Parcelfarce" fails.

Second time I have to deal with parcel force and never again. The parcel force website is totally useless. Don’t use it, just call them. I tried to organise a redelivery to another address and a local post office but the website couldn’t recognise my postcode or my work postcode. I then organised a delivery to my own address but the postman didn’t show up.They only leave a delivery note on the first attempt delivery, so you have to check on line where you parcel is. Their south London depot is in Croydon which is not a practical location at all. After calling them I manage to get my parcel deliver to my local post office. Hopefully it will be there.

Never give these idiots a penny, they have no respect for your property and won’t accept responsibility when things go wrong Parcelforce broke my £420 guitar, despite it being in a padded case, with airbags on 4 sides and in a sturdy outer box marked 'FRAGILE' on all 6 sides ! How the hell they managed it is beyond me ? They sold me insurance to cover the value too, but have refused my claim, and subsequent appeal. They said their guidelines state 'a hard case' should be used for guitars, but as an experienced musician and guitarist for over 40 years I argue that this guitar was better packed how I had done it. I detuned to slacken the strings, so there was no string tension on the neck. It was interesting how they drop the odd one liner in with ‘guitar speak’ as if they knew what they were talking about, but you can see straight through that ‘must follow procedures and look professional’ mask. It was clearly rehearsed responses to pass blame back, it’s disgusting behaviour really ! I provided photos of the packaging and common sense should have prevailed, but no, they clearly never had any intention of taking responsibility or paying compensation. What kind of employee throws such a package with enough force to break the neck on a guitar ? This was not just a 'chuck it in the van' scenario here ! I've dropped a guitar on the floor at band practice in the past (not this one I might add) and not even marked it, so this would have been thrown with considerable force. So I am completely out of pocket. Multi million pound business dumping on the little guy ! It doesn’t matter how well you pack something if Parcelfarce employ people who clearly like to throw fragile packages ! Don't give these idiots a penny, use another courier service

Very bad account manager/ sales persons. It’s better to buy their service through a reseller or agent (Parcel monkey, parcel2go Etc..) If you buy directly from them you get a bad deal. They think customer are stupid and don’t know how to shop around for deals.

Being prepared for the volume of parcels during the Xmas period is fundamental to the success of a delivery business. It seems Parcelforce were unable to do this and the lack of information compounded the issue. There are very good delivery operators out there but Parcelforce is not one of them.

If I could have give this a NIL star I would have, sadly you have to press one to trigger the review. Like other customers my package came from the US and that side of things was all smooth. Happy to pay the $66 delivery charge but once in the UK it all goes distrastrously wrong. Parcel FARCE are an absolute joke, lack of updating the tracking system, unclear customs charge instructions, then even after paying the addditional £57.50 to get it out of customs some idiot puts it in the 'wrong' PF box. My item has been in the UK for a month...AVOID if you can...

Package #cx149099786us not delivered..mailed on time from US...paid $91.40 for delivery....you are now asking the recipient to pay a customs surcharge...are you out of your minds? I will pursue US Postal, ask for a refund, and insist that they drop you...cancel your contract...disgraceful...SEND the package...

Posted on 20/12/17 on "Express 24 Hour" service. Was 'out for delivery' on 21/12/17. No card left, no explanation. Phoned and was told would get call back to me. I'm still waiting for that call. Emailed. Still waiting for a response to that. Now - 27/12/17 - showing as 'prepared for delivery'. Still not delivered. IF it gets delivered today, Express 24 will have taken 7 days. Not holding my breath. First world prices for third world service. I hope never to have the misfortune to use Parcelfarce ever again. What compensation for failing deliver on time??

Inadequate prep for Xmas Clear need to take on more temp staff. Presents arrived in Manchester depot 22/12. Still not out for delivery by 27/12. Shockingly inefficient at an obviously important time when the need for more staff is obvious. Profits befoRe people?

Absolutely appalling service. Sent a parcel to Scotland for my elderly uncle on the 19th December using 48 hr express guaranteed delivery. Should have arrived on the 21st but they tried to deliver on the 23rd. Tracking said an attempt was made to deliver. No card was left with him so we have no idea how to retrieve it. He is elderly and can’t travel easily to collect it. I am so annoyed and disappointed! What on Earth happens to these parcels that they sit in the Glasgow depot for days. Shoddy service. I paid my £13 in good faith! Will never use them again.

I phoned on Thursday 21 December to find out about a parcel I was told there was a backlog but would definitely have it for Christmas. Phoned tracking service Saturday night it is at Glasgow depot! So many people disappointed - if you can't deliver the service people are paying for what compensation do you offer?

Some 48 hours servis this is!! Its spent longer than that waiting to get onto a delivery van for its final treck! Daughter advised not to go for it yesterday as its an hours car trip and they probably wont be able to find it anyway!! Useless shower. Never again. From now on its Any Other Service!!! So disapointed.

sent parcel to Italy on euro priority which should be 2-3 days max. So far its been scanned in the country 6 times, prepared for delivery 3 times, delivery scheduled 3 times, Attempted delivery - premises closed even before the prepared for delivery and delivery scheduled above, yet it was a private address with the person still in and no delivery or card attempted- so a blatant lie. Now been 1 week and still no attempted delivery by their Italian useless partners gls-italy.com who it appears are as incompetent as they come. I rang to complain here and they gave me a phone number of the agent in italy (too lazy to help their customers here) so I had to do all the chasing myself. Range the agent who said they are in a mess and we can collect the next day. My customer had to drive 20 miles to Ancona to then wait 2 hours as there was a massive queue today as it seems no one had any parcels delivered by this useless company. I will be making a claim for a full refund as I paid a extortion amount for a delivery and got self service. Just not good enough for a company and whatever lame excuse they are going to give me its just not up to an acceptable standard. They need to close it down and start again, starting with the italian GLS useless lying counterparts. This is the second parcel this week that Parcel Force cocked up, they wont mess another one up as I wont be using them again. Please use UPS everyone as this company is beyond help and customer service is a disgrace.

I've been waiting for an antique purchase to arrive from Scotland on a 48hr tracked delivery. 48 hours would have been yesterday but it does state that their '48hr' service is '2-3 days'. So really it's an 'up to 72hr' service. I made arrangements to be in all day yesteday but it hadn't arrived with my local depot. At around midday today (Saturday 23rd December) it hadn't arrived. I thought best to check and on the tracking page online it stated that it had arrived at 10am with my local depot (a ten minute walk away) but had been 'Returned to Sender', 'unable to deliver due to 'incomplete address'. Now, I find this very very hard to believe. That an item could make it all the way to my local DO, which means that there was a correct post code on the parcel. Given that there must have been a post code on the parcel, then they would of course have known the street that the address was on. So, the only piece of information that they must have been missing, was a door number (I think a simple door number and post code is all we really need to write on national post for the postal service to have a correct address - could be wrong but that's my understanding). I'm going to give the sender the benefit of the doubt here and assume that, as operating an online-only shopping service, they're pretty familiar with the format of an address. And the fact that I filled out my own address when I ordered online, that was shown again to me on a confirmation email. Perhaps Parcel Force could employ a similar system? Given that 'addresses' are part and parcel of their service! (apologies for the pun). I don't believe for one second that there isn't some incompetence involved here. I've had trouble(s) with Parcel Force in the past and vowed never to use them again. I was a little anxious when I realised my purchased item was being handled by them. I'd use DPD over them every day of the week - at least you get confirmation texts with delivery details shown long BEFORE the item is delivered so you have a chance to correct any errors. All the details are also online to view when tracking. There's no confusion about the delivery date/time/address. There's nothing on Parcel Force's tracking service - except hollow semi-promises and where it is in terms of which depot it is with - no expected delivery day (still the 2nd or 3rd day MAYBE). I can't see my address on the tracking page anywhere. I'm absolutely furious about this. How can they not have an address this far down the line of delivery? How can there be no way for any member of staff to be holding a parcel and say "no idea where this is supposed to be delivered to - let's send it back to the sender". I'm now doubly concerned that the tracking page states that the parcel is being sent back to the 'National Returns Centre to determine the senders details'. What? You need to send it somewhere to find out who sent it? This is Orwellian madness surely. There's these things called computers that can help keep information handy. You can even give all the staff devices or apps for their phones to access said information instantly anywhere. Surely Parcel Force doesn't still operate with carbon-copy paper still?? Way way way behind the competition. And I don't belive any of their non-committal service pledges. I'll never be using them. And I'll be insisting my vendors don't send me my purchases by them in the future either.

I have waited for 4days now to receive a parcel which was supposed to be 1-2day delivery. Parcelforce provides a very poor servive and retailers will lose custom using this delivery company. Understandably Christmas is a busy period....advice would be don't take on what you can't achieve and give yourselves a bad name...like Parcel-farce.
