“The PC was assembled within the specified timeframe, shipped quickly and has been performing amazingly. Having looked at all the parts, I also feel that I get a better deal for it.”

“The website was fairly easy to navigate, browsing the parts and ordering was also quite straightforward. Having all the parts prices in the drop down menu would be more helpful however. The communication with PCS has been very good in general, with fair response times and good explanations. However speaking to different people have resulted in different answers a couple of times. All the parts quality seems to be excellent, delivery was very quick and well packaged. However my system has arrived with case fans connected in wrong places on the motherboard so i had to spend some time on forums, online and emailing PCS to figure out what the problem is. In the end the fix was fairly simple which i was able to do by myself, but it was caused due to some negligence during the build process. I was assured the feedback about this issue will be passed on to the relevant teams.”

“I recently bought the inexpensive Gemini for my wife (As her computer requirements are minimal.) followed by the 16 " Lafite for my photo editing as a main requirement. The Gemini is fine considering the low cost but the Lafite has been a pleasure to use. Prior to purchasing from PCSpecialist, I had a rather expensive HP Probook which I had hoped would last for a long time. It did not (cheap casing buckled at the hinges and eventually would not recharge at all.) and thus now remembered as a waste of money. I subsequently tried PCSpecialist and have been very impressed. The Lafite laptop feels sturdy and the keyboard plus glass touchpad are both a pleasure to use. Therefore, this laptop gets full marks from me and can be recommended. I will most certainly consider this make again in the (hopefully not too near.) future.”

“My new PC is great and I was happy with the customer service guy I spoke to (to amend my order slightly). A few minor issues prevented me rating PC Specialist 5 stars. Firstly, the packaging PC specialist use is very protective but doesn't make it absolutely clear to the delivery drivers that the package is fragile. My courier basically dropped the PC in my porch, he probably didn't realise what was in the box. The second is the order form you complete for custom pcs does not prevent you from ordering additional cables that come with the PC components, so you end up paying more and receiving additional cables that are provided for freewith the case or power supply. Last the order confirmation might say 4 to 7 days for the despatch target, but this can change if its a busy time. Overall they did a great job at what is probably a hectic time of year.”

“The computer has been delivered faulty from day one… it still isn’t working. Not only have I had nothing but problems with the computer, I am now on day 4 of trying to get the machine repaired. They seem to expect you to be a computer tech and dismantle the thing yourself!! I am still waiting on a new graphics card as the machine was sent out faulty… there has been delay after delay and quite honestly I am extremely disappointed with the computer and the amount of help… not only am I expected to change the graphics card myself but it has to be out to return as the new one arrives … of which I haven’t been given a time scale on its arrival yet!! Extremely disappointed with the entire process… and I still don’t have a working machine!!”

“Always dreamt of having my own pc and they made it possible. I’d 100% recommend pc specialist if you’re afraid of messing it up yourself 🤣. Build time was fast, so was testing. Delivery took 2-3 days which isn’t bad either. Overall, I have no complaints.”

“Bought a new laptop, my first from PC Specialist. Easy to configure the hardware and software spec, and place the order (from Hangzhou, China). No issues with delivery or with initial Windows setup. Replacing the operating system with Linux Mint 22 went very smoothly indeed (booted from USB stick and then installed Mint). This is the 3rd system I've bought from PC Specialist. I'll be back for a 4th as and when necessary. Very happy to do so !”

“Great custom builds with tech support, bought my first PC from them 10 years ago and have used that as the basis ever since, unfortunately can't give 5 stars as the laptop I bought from them that was supposed to be top end only lasted 2 years before dying on me, so will see if the current laptop I bought will last longer.”

“Just made my 11th order for a small business, as we're slowly in the process of replacing PC's that are 10+ years old & not compatible with Win 11. Communication & updates on orders are generally very good, as are the speed in which the orders are built, considering they're not fixed spec items sat ready to go. I have had 1 issue where they were unable to meet an expediated build request & they refunded the extra cost automatically. I often price up the components as we have the skillset for building these in-house, but PC Specialist consistently offer prices that, when weighed up against labour costs & the benefit of warranty, mean there's little to be gained by going the self build route. The latest order was for a mini-PC & monitor. It was ordered on a Friday afternoon, build started on the Monday & it arrived 9 days later. All in all, a very happy customer and will continue to order from PC Specialist for the foreseeable future.”

You know exactly what you are getting, how each component affects the overall price, and how adding or changing things affects the build. Entirely transparent, entirely helpful, entirely the best custom PC builders I've ever encountered. 5/5.”
