“Having previously built my own PC’s and was considering doing so again this time I out of interest looked at PCSpecalist having been recommended to them by a colleague. The web site is super easy to use, in particular the custom build section which will highlight any problems with your selections when you press on proceed, including recommending downgrades that are unnecessary to save you money! Had a couple of queries and the sales staff are very efficient and knowledgeable, answered my question quickly and accurately. Email notifications at all stages of the build and delivery were great. Build and delivery time were within what had been quoted. The PC arrived very well packaged and was easy to set up. I really cannot fault the build quality very neat and the performance actually is better than expected. Also they sent me all unused cables etc, great as I had a couple of HD drives to the system to add myself. i could go on and on, but in short I highly recommend PCSpecalist and am in the process of ordering a PC for a friend from them, what more can I say. A++ for service and quality.”

“Easy to use website that made choosing which components very straightforward, smooth process throughout and communications were great so you knew what was happening when and based on my experience of costing very similar builds on a number of different website, I didn't find anything cheaper. Once the PC arrived, clear instructions about setting it up and it's now working brilliantly and up to my expectations.”

“Very disappointed with the quality of the build and the PCS so called quality control. £1500 PC was delivered with clearly visible bare wires, most likely the insulation stripped off during the build when they were pulled through the metal holes in the casing, fortunately these bare wires were nicely cable tied to other system cables and so luckily just avoided touching the metal case and blowing the motherboard. The GPU support bracket was installed, just a shame it was not adjusted to actually support the GPU card, a 10mm gap between the bracket and GPU should have been quite visible to the builder and QA inspector, the adjustment was tightened so its not something that changed during shipping. I specified an extra case fan in the order, this was fitted blowing directly at the exhaust fan, not only making it completely ineffective but actually making the case cooling worse as it reduced the effectiveness of the exhaust fan in removing the hot air from the case. The reason it was fitted where it was seems to be the length of the fan wire being insufficient to reach any other connections on the motherboard, so rather than install it properly with a fan extension wire they just took the easy option during the build. The PCS case is actually quite nice quality (PCS PRISM-X ARGB MID TOWER CASE), it is a shame however that the 3 front fans only operate at full speed (SATA supplied) with the mesh panel at the front too small to allow all three fans to draw in enough air to function effectively. All the other openings seem to have nice dust filters, just not for the intake of the 3 front intake fans so its going to be a very dusty system inside with the front fans running full speed all the time with no dust filter (let alone the unnecessary noise and energy consumption). Customer support was very good, its just a shame that the build and QA were so poor. Other than the issues above, the PC is good with the GPU & CPU fans inaudible over the noisy front case fans even when gaming. However it really should not be up to the end user to open up the PC and check for multiple build faults.”

“The PC was brought for my son. I haven’t had any negative feedback “it’s fantastic “. Looking at other PC’s it’s a reasonable price and the fact my son has been able to choose all the little extras to make it his own for both gaming and school work. Customer service has been brilliant, kept updated throughout all the way to the front door. The whole experience has been seamless… thank you”

“My Son already has a laptop built by you and is very happy with it. So when i wanted to upgrade my laptop he suggested using you and helped me spec it. But it was a very easy process and the choice was very extensive. A week or so later it arrived in perfect condition. I am more than happy with it even though I have only been using it for 10 days or so. Thanks guys.”

“Fantastic custom built pc bought for husband's birthday and he is very happy with it. Although I ordered with more than enough time, due to delays it was not going to arrive by his birthday so I had to pay £70 extra for fast track which I shouldn't have had to. Also one of the leg stands came cracked but customer service dealt with and sent out a new leg efficiently and quickly. Overall happy now with it.”
