UNPROFESSIONAL After my last review of Persimmon Doncaster. They have since decided to get into my garden via my locked gate. As they could not gain access they jumped over my fence from my neighbours house to do some work that I knew nothing about instead of ringing me and making an appointment. After completing the work they decided to leave all my bins in the middle of the garden killing my new grass, sweep the dirt into the corner of my garden and leave my house a mess yet again. I can not believe just how unprofessional Persimmon are. I was then sat watching TV when I heard dripping (it was raining outside) to go into my downstairs toilet to find water pouring down my wall from the extractor fan. The next morning the site manager did come out and said it was condensation. After explaining to him that I used to work in the trade and wasn’t stupid he decided to go to the external wall to see that they had put the pet outside upside down so the water was managing to get through rather than running off it. Just another example of the incompetency.

If I could give 0 stars I would If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service is absolutely shocking. The sales people lie to you and promise you all sorts and never follow through on what they actually say. After buying the house they will attend snags six months later and leave your house dirty. They will also try and move fence boundaries and threaten court action despite solicitors saying they are unable to move any boundaries. They try to bully you into thinking they are always right. If I could give my house back I would. As first time buyers they have completely ruined the experience and I would not go near Persimmon Doncaster ever again.

What an absolute joke of a company persimmon are, Charles Church should be ashamed to even put there name to persimmon... staff are so arrogant and rude, they have no human side to them what so ever. They clearly do not give a care in the world that there is a world wide pandemic going on and only care about them selves and a there own profits. Because we didn’t manage to exchange contracts during the lockdown due to lack of staff at mortgage company’s/solicitors because they are still on furlough persimmon pulled the plug on our deal with the house a week or so before we could exchange as they said they can’t wait any longer! The funny thing is if they had waited a week longer we would have exchanged and now they have re-marketed the property and have to find another buyer and go through the whole process again for the sake of a week! What a joke of a company. Anyone that is looking a buying one of there houses I would advise to stay well clear of them! They will only end up screwing you over! Heartless the lot of them!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! We had several snagging issues and informed persimmon within the 2 year period, but they try to always come up with excuses as to why they won't do it and if they do agree to do it they take a ridiculous amount of time to do so. I have been waiting over 2 years for some of my snagging to be sorted and they are still trying to fob me off. went to nhbc about 1 issue and persimmon agreed to fix it, having spent a year trying to say that it was my fault, they agreed to fix due to nhbc getting involved. I've spent so much time chasing and emailing and calling and waiting at home for people to come round. I think they make it so difficult most people just give up.

First time buyer with first time headaches, we bought our flat off plan and everything paperwise complete April given completion date of September, then moved to November, then December, then Feb finally April. Pretty sure the rushed to complete as the mortgage was due to expire end of April. Endless faults and failure in logic. The main waste stack runs through our ensuite creating loud noises eveeytime our neighbours flush their toilets. Our biggest issue is the customer service, our agent has been terrible no customer service what so ever. They blame you for everything and then get defensive when you bring in independent contractors to resolve issues they should have. Would not recommend them at all to anyone. There has to be some change.

HANSON REACH, STEWARTBY, BEDS. For the past 12 months we as a family have been bullied by this multi million pound company all because of their shoddy build which has compromised our safety and security, we therefore erected a fence to secure our property because they installed a mains insolater switch in our mains electric which is accessible by the general public as the mains cabinets are mounted on our external boundary line. Today we have found out Persimmons are sueing us for trespass. The little family of NHS workers, who paid 465K for what should have been our dream home being pursued through the courts because of their wrong doing, shame on you Persimmons. Our home was bought off plan in Hanson Reach in stewartby, Bedfordshire in Jan 2019. We had significant major snags I.e. Bay windows too small and both had to be removed. Kitchen ceiling cut through looks for banging pipes not secured, the list has gone on and on for over 1 year and the stress to my family has been significant, resulting in ill health to both my husband and I. We have now just had an independent Chartered Suveyors building report undertaken, the report is compiled of 67 pages full of faults with the property. 2 significant faults, 1 being the mains gas pipes tight under our bedroom floor, so tight that when Persimmons came to investigate banging pipes the engineer cut through the live gas mains and another the main structural RSJ has no bolts to secure them in place. We also have an electricity mains and gas mains installed on the outer wall of our property which is in fact our boundary line. The elecrtic box is over 9m aware from the fuse board hence a power supply switch is installed in the cabinet accessible by anyone walking on the footpath to the side of our property and who could in effect turn our mains off, rendering our intruder alarm and CCTV useless and our property unprotected. Persimmons sold us our 465k property with a shared Private Road with our neighbour, there is no signage in place to indicate a private road and they refuse to install one. This company have no pride, respect or a willingness to complete the build to a satisfactory level. It is all about short timescale and maximum profit. At no time was the customer experience ever a factor. I loath this company beyond belief and the absolute nonchalant attitude, condesention, lack of regard to the quality, faults and the money we have paid for the house. PLEASE DO NOT BUY A PERSIMMONS PROPERTY AT HANSON REACH STEWARTBY, it will make you very ill whilst you work through faults and major issues with your new house

A 465k property, appalling faults from day 1. Bay windows too small, electric supply to megaflow electric cable was stretched to reach and therefore breached install regs. Serious concerns about significant lust of issues. We had a an independent structural survey undertaken the report is 68 pages long which contain 2 major concerns. The first is the mains gas pipe installed tight under our master bedroom floor which breaches regulations, the second is the main structural beams which have no nuts or bolts to secure them in place. The lust is endless. Please stay away from Persimmons zhadon Reach Stewartby, the properties are built by substandard resource and managed by substandard personnel. Our dream home at 465k has caused us so much stress and unhappiness I hate the sight of it. Shame on you persimmons.

We have a persimmon home in Stewarby Beds, I will not bore you with the list of snags which have yet to be completed. I honestly think the government should be doing more about this. It’s almost as if the Builder’s have them in their pocket. Why on earth in this day and age should they be able to get away with this. There should be say 5-10% held back for one year by an independent and not released until every thing within reason is up to standard and regulation. One star Is far more than they deserve.

I will never recommend anyone to buy a house made by Persimmons. As it comes with many defects. You will notice a crack on walls usually its a paint coming off. Bathroom sealant will start coming off only after couple of months into the property. Try reporting it, all you get is its due to temperature as their response, keep house at 18`c at all times. Their will be so many defects that you can't write everything.Customer service will try to pin the blame on you straight without any shame. I mean look at this Persimmon people running scam on innocent people.

We have reported a list of snags during our moved-in inspection. The customer care kept delaying the repairs for 2 years and is not plainly refusing to do anything as it's past the warranty. This is despite us chasing them multiple times and them assuring us that any issues reported prior to warranty expiry date would be fixed. Terrible customer service.

DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE HOMES BAD BAD BAD QUALITY OF WORK. Saved hard brought a flat off plan which they took forever to build kept coming up with excuses for delays, finished 6 months late. I was on the third floor no lift as they threw a part away kept being promised it would work, unable to move in completely and family to visit for 6 months. If there are any snags they remind you that they will do it as courtesy if they will do at all and they don't. Just be prepared to do yourself and pay out more money. Really are a poor builder that don't care about there buyers at all. Its about time this company should be look into as they are building homes that they make you complete on so they can get your money when the workmanship is very very poor.
