“During the purchase my wife and I spoke with Declan,Laura and Kelly. All 3 members helped and guided us through every part of our decision to buy. Nothing was too much trouble nor any question too "stupid" to ask, although I'm sure I pushed Kelly to the limit with some of my daft questions. Declan took on board exactly what we wanted with our exchange and new purchase and made no attempt to push or cajole anything neither of us wanted. “I ordered my car on June the 10th and was promised it in 3-4 days so paid my £100 deposit and waited. Car never came I told them my mot ran out on June 21st and needed it by then was promised it by then so I waited.Went to pick my car up on 21st and was told it was lost , I said I had no car and needed 1 for my hols on July 10th was promised it by then so I waited.Car never came was told it disappeared,promised I would get a new 1 by 25th July so waited.Car never came so I waited until 18th of August and was told this car had disappeared as well so cancelled .I still haven't got my deposit back ,shambolic way to treat customers.”
“Everything was fine during the purchase of the car. The problems started when I came to insure it. On insurance search engine sites my registration number came up with the old model of the car which I had bought. The old model is insurance group 6 compared with the new one which is insurance group 2. I raised this problem with the salesman who was fairly unhelpful and seemed to have no clue as to how to sort things out. I have now contacted the Manager who says he will see the Administrative Department about it on Monday. I don't understand why the salesman was so reluctant to do this, Had it not been for this problem I would have given a higher star rating.”
“From the moment I entered Peter Vardy I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The young girl I met on entering the showroom quickly found someone to answer my questions. I was then introduced to a young man called Andrew Buchan who after I had selected a car to test drive was very proficient in explaining about the controls. Once Andrew had my details we went on the test drive. On returning to the showroom it was down to price, once satisfied I reserved the car. I phoned Andrew on the Monday to confirm the sale and said I would collect the car the following Saturday. Andrew was busy with a customer on my arrival at the showroom but I was offered and accepted a coffee. By the time I finished the coffee Andrew appeared. The paperwork was then completed and I drove home with my "new" car. I found out later that Andrew was in fact a new sales person, at no time did I feel Andrew was anything less than professional. May I take this opportunity to wish Andrew all the best in his new career.”
