Do not use, total waste of time, ordered 4 items all were supposed to be in stock. telephoned after a few days, told order should be dispatched on Tuesday. Phoned again on Tuesday to be told order not processed awaiting stock. why not tell the truth, will not use again

Ordered with delivery stated in 2 days. 2 days later, no tracking, no delivery and was told "it will be delivered today or tomorrow". Tomorrow came and went, and following up....told the item was out of stock, and may be in the following week. Pathetic service....and now lost a customer.

Ordered from these guys twice, first time they said there was damage to our order and would we accept something else. Second time we ordered they messaged us 2 days later to say they had none in stock. Won't waste our time in future

I ordered four items that were either more expensive at Screwfix or not available at all. This should have been a joyful experience. Days later, while I was waiting for the courier to arrive, I got four separate emails cancelling each item, due to being out of stock! These jokers are running a system that doesn't decrement stock as it is sold. The work I had planned to do couldn't be done. The only thing that did work was the refund to my credit card. I had thought with four separate cancellations, I might have to phone to get the carriage refunded, but they at least got this right. I will NEVER buy anything from these incompetent idiots again.

Very poor service. I brought an item which stated was 'in stock' only to find that the item wasn't actually available for two months. I wasn't notified about this until I chased for a delivery date. The company said that they had email me but could not provide evidence. I checked my spam mail and confirm that they did not communicate the delay in delivery. It seems that this company is happy to keep your money for months in the full knowledge that they can not fulfil their order. If I could give this company zero stars I would.

Placed an order on 9th December never arrived as of yet, after sending email and making numerous phone calls have had no response Very poor company to deal wit appreciated it was the Xmas period but to not reply or contact is very poor would never purchase from this company again I advise people to think twice using them

Very poor. Ordered an item for 24 hour tracked delivery. It’s now 12 days later and still not arrived. No follow up from the company or apology. The item won’t arrive in time for Christmas now so I have had to order from, somewhere else. Emailed them and now they are on Christmas shut down and can’t respond until January, thanks guys!

I placed an order for a Hyundai angle grinder, and still had not yet received this three weeks later. First I had an email saying that the courier had a problem with the address, but they had advised them that the address is correct. So this hopefully the order would arrive with me soon. But it didn't. The website has continually offered quick delivery, but I didn't get what I paid for. After three weeks I could wait no longer. I therefore asked for a refund of my money, without any delay. An email said they had actioned the refund. This came OK, and was the only thing that Power Tools Direct did right. An email stated they were sorry, that the replacement they had sent, had also not arrived. I never once got any evidence, that my order had been despatched. Trustpilot state that they have detected that this company may be asking for reviews in a way that they don't support. And that this can lead to bias and compromise the reliability of reviews.

My purchase was small, just 3 pots of paint for my craft, which came to £9.90. However to delivery was £7.95 rather a lot I felt for such a small package. But the delivery date went by, as did the following day, so I emailed twice to be told they hadn't sent it and would be leaving the next day. Which it did. My first email was a request of a refund for P&P. Then when I got no reply I asked for a refund of goods and P&P. £17.95. That is when they decided to send it. I did get my P&P refunded immediately, but my overall impression is that my purchase was so small that it didn't matter. If I had purchased a large expensive tool it would have been sent on time. My moto, I won't use them again, next time my purchase could be large and expensive, but not from them

I supposed to receive parcel 2/11, few days later few of my items been send after I messaged them, and after my second message they send rest of my items which I received at 10/11. Very bad service...

Truly deceitful website, promised in stock and delivery for items which were not in stock. Refused to cancel order even when overdue and not available. No one reading emails sent to sales department. Now lumbered with unwanted part of an order and no refund made for missing items. Do not use this company.

I ordered 3 small items totalling £9.90. Pots of craft paint. They charged me £7.95 express delivery, which was the only option? Goods were promised 2 days ago. Still no sign of my order. I will never use them again. I will also spread the word Applying for a full refund

I ordered a Clarke 1100 Jump Start device which we needed urgently & Power Tools Direct offered next day delivery via FedEx. The order was placed at 09:11am on Wed the 20th Nov & I paid £8.95 for the FedEx Express Parcel service but the item wasn't delivered the next day, nor the next day. It wasn't until Sat the 23rd Nov that I received an email with the FedEx tracking number so I send a cancellation request as we'd already bought the same item from another supplier. On Mon the 25th Nov I received an email to say that the item had already been shipped but when I checked the tracking number FedEx showed it as not yet received so I contacted FedEx & told them I wouldn't accept the parcel. Today, Tues the 3rd Dec I received a refund for the item but not a refund for the FedEx Express delivery charge so I've been charged for a delivery that never took place. I'm a director & company secretary & the company will not do business with Power Tools Direct

Rip off company. Purchased two items showing in stock they send me one and an email to refund the second. But they charge me £5.99 for postage, no way would I order one item very small item for £5.99 postage. After contact they claimed they would refund the postage, had to wait for that to happen. I had to place a second order pay postage to get the missing item elsewhere, so I waited longer for my items and this delayed the job My items were only small, fit in a small jiffy bag and delivered by Royal mail 48. What makes it worse is the item they did not send was still online to buy and showing in stock. Disgrace cost me time and money.

Ordered two items and paid £5.99 for postage, I thought postage was a little expensive when it arrived by Royal Mail 48 which was not £5.99, but to make matters worse they sent one item and an email to say the second was out of stock, it was still showing in stock after this happened so they are selling items they know are out of stock. No way would I of ordered the one item with a postage charge of £5.99, they did say they would refund me the postage but that did not happen, they only refunded the missing item. I have now had to place an order elsewhere to get the second item and pay for postage, so this company has cost me money and wasted my time. I would not recommend ordering from them .
