PPL are solicitors in the loosest of terms. Long story short. PPL failed miserably at what they were supposed to do and our chain collapsed as a result. I am now 5k out of pocket and need to find somewhere else to buy. Please dont believe any of the reviews on Trustpilot, as PPL can instruct them to take negative reviews down. Also, dont frust any positive review on trustpilot as PPL have a dedicated team running damage control and putting up fake positive reviews. To see 1st hand the misery PPL have caused, then look to Facebook page, when Conveyancing goes rogue.

We are selling to a first time buyer. We are using professional solicitors. Our buyers are using “premier” property “lawyers.” Should have exchanged contracts today, as they had agreed with our solicitors. They failed to properly communicate with my solicitors, the person who was supposed to be “acting” for our buyer took the day off with no cover arrangements. They seem to have failed to properly communicate with their own “client.” Really worried that the chain will collapse and we will lose our new home because our our buyers made the mistake of instructing PPL

We used PPL in 2008 when we bought a repossessed property. A week after we moved in a planning letter from the council arrived to inform residence that the 20 feet fence had passed planning. Therefore the views and light was soon blocked at the end of our garden. The open views and light was the main reason we bought the property. I had to go through the complaints process which took months and eventually the ombudsman. The result was that as we didn’t ask for a particular type of ‘search’ the basic one was done which did not extend further than our boundaries. I think had I used a local conveyor the planning would have come to light.

Retracted complaint offer Honestly don’t know when this nightmare will end ! PPL failed to register my lease correctly . Meaning I currently only have 60 odd years left on the property I purchased and spent all my savings on renovating . After months of chasing PPL they initially assured me they would resolve the matter and get it registered . Then they had a system error and sent me the paper work after I had paid a solicitor £820.00 to register this , firstly they sent them to a wrong address and secondly once received and reviewed by my solicitor it became apparent that one of the key pieces of paper work had invalid signatures . PPL failed to recognise this even though for months they kept me waiting advising me it was juts a case of their systems to get up and running and it would be submitted . After a long drawn out process and continuously having to chase them for a response once I had lost my mortgage offer and have been unable to sell or apply for a new mortgage since leaving my life on hold since 2020 ! They finally came back to me with an offer here is a copy and paste : Final settlement offer We appreciate you have been provided with some options by your solicitor. However, we are happy to assist in that we can contact the seller’s solicitors and request them to provide us with the correctly executed documentation. On receipt of this we can either submit the application for the lease extension to the Land Registry or forward them on to your solicitor for them to submit to the Land Registry. We would do this at no additional cost to you. Therefore, on the terms set out below, and in full and final settlement with no admission of liability, we will revoke our previous offer and instead offer a total of £**** (being the costs of £****of which you have paid £****plus £****for your distress and inconvenience) in respect of all your past, current and future claims in relation to the Transaction and this Incident, including but not limited to any inconvenience and concerns experienced. With a sense of relief in believing this horrendous experience would be resolved and I can move on with my life . I responded : Dear Sir/Madam In regards to your offer to resolve and close my complaint I accept the offer of £**** . I would also like you to send me the correct paper work in regards to obtaining the relevant signatures for me to pass onto my solicitor to get the lease registered as offered. They replied : Dear Miss Torrible Thank you for your email the contents of which are noted. We will now move to prepare the necessary paperwork to pass the payment to you. Thinking that was that and waiting the documents as promised I then received this : Dear Miss Torrible, Further to our email below we confirm that the paperwork for the payment to you of the settlement amount has been processed. Please allow 2/3 working days for this payment to arrive with you. We apologise for the error below, as all original paperwork that we held has already been forwarded to you. We note from your emails that this has been passed to your solicitors, who we assume you have instructed to begin the work for you, as you have accepted the settlement to cover their fees. If we can assist in any other way please let us know. Leaving me still awaiting a reaponce from one of the freeholders in relation to attempting to make a new lease with not much luck . Had to pay an addition £720 to solicitors so in total I have paid out £2460.00 I accepted the offer provided they sent me the correct paper work to avoid further delays or the potential of the freeholder not being on board I can still get the 2020 lease perfected and registered . They have now not bothered replying to any of my emails and appeared to have cut all contact . Absolutely disgusted I used them to purchase my first property In 2020 and stand to loose 35/40K from valuation I have no way to re-mortgage as it stands therefore am stuck . All thanks to negligent dishonest and untrustworthy staff . I now have more solicitor fees and are no better off . The stress is unbearable .

Absolutely disgusted with the service we received. We used PPL for our sale and purchase. It took 6 months and we were supposed to exchange and complete on a Friday. We were told to hand the keys over on our sale and then it did not complete until the Monday. We were homeless for the weekend with two children under 4 with no apologies or care. They then held money owed to us in their account and we had to chase every day until they paid us our money! The stress they caused us was awful. Do not use.

My experience with Premier Property Lawyers was a very positive one with regular updates from my solicitor, and easy communication throughout I would highly recommend Paul Meffen and PPL for future service.

I relate to all the comments. I'm selling and they are the buyers solicitor. (8 months in and still not complete) They lie, manipulate, and try to blame everyone else. After I made a few phone calls to sort it out. I realised PPL were playing all of us!. Put your personal feedback on trust pilot. PPL watch it religiously. And comments get their attention.

Awful company. Have cost me thousands of £'s due to delays of a sale with no chain and no issues with the property. Impossible to get hold of and communicate with. They're cheap for a reason, and don't be fooled by your estate agents' recommendation, they are paid a commission for every customer they send to PPL.

Well omg! I have never experienced anything like it and have moved a number of times over the last 30 years. Sold an empty house to a family (no chain) 13th August 2021 and exchanged today 15th March 2022. It’s been a complete farce from start to finish. Even the estate agents from Purplebricks was sending very direct emails chasing. DO NOT USE unless you’re not in a rush.

The worst conveyancers we have experienced! Premier Property Lawyers managed our sale and purchase in what should have been a simple process (no chain) it ended up taking nearly 5 months just purely down to incompetence. Awful and confusing communication resulted in the whole process being overly stressful. We were constantly chasing for an update. The eway portal, whilst it might look good on the surface is only as good as the information entered by the Conveyancing team, which was poor, and the ‘progress’ through the stages did not work how you would expect! Even when you input information into the portal they ask for it again months later via email! We complained on a couple of occasions and nothing was done, they obviously do not value their customer’s experience. Overall a terrible experience (that we paid a fortune for!) and would never use them again.

Do avoid at all costs. After much delay and no communication in November 2021 I instructed a local solicitor to manage both my sale and purchase this was 8 weeks in to process. Even though starting again was not what I had planned it was much easier and cost effective and timeframes realistic. I closed my case with PPL in December 2021. I moved mid February 2022. This week I have had communication from PPL welcoming me and ready to commence with my purchase I find this comical and unbelievable. When I wrote to remind them I had left and since instructed a local firm and actually moved in my new property I received a curt email back questioning why and again asking if they could act on my purchase. Obviously not read my email as I had completed already. Eventually my case has now been closed. Also the cost had increased by an additional fee of £995 pounds from my original quote in August 2021. My local firm had cost less than both quotes PPL gave. Due to lack of incompetence and none existent communication I would recommend avoiding at all costs. It was a stressful few months when I reflect as house buying is not straight forward at the best of times. Strike Estate agents who I found to be hood did the recommendation so I would avoid this area if using Strike. Get a local Conveyancing firm to do the work !

My sale didn't even get off the ground. It took then 3 weeks to even speak to me. Whenever I phoned, no one knew who I was !!!! I ditched them for a local firm. Don't use it will take forever.

Yaseen Khan provided an exceptional conveyancing service from start to finish. He ensured each step of our contract was explained methodically. He has excellent knowledge in all legal conveyancing matters and dealt with our case professionally. We would highly recommend his service to all potential clients.

When they are not absent, they are incompetent. Our sellers use Purplebricks and therefore Premier Property Lawyers (PPL). This is a no chain purchase. It started in May 2021 9it is now March 2023). PPL have consistently delayed the process by refusing to communicate or respond to emails, completing documents incorrectly and correcting slowly. When they are not absent, they are incompetent. We were supposed to exchange yesterday, but PPL have failed to answer the phone for two days. God only knows what is happening.

Absolute joke of a company. They're dealing with the sale and purchase of my property and it has now dragged out for over 6 months when they said max would be 20 weeks. Avoid at all costs. They are so bad.

I’m sure you have heard of the saying that nobody goes to work to do a bad job, these guys actually do! We were unfortunate enough to have Zahirah Hanif assisted by an assistant who couldn’t assist Dawn Knowles who I don’t think either have ever dealt with selling a house before, I know this because it took from July 25th, 2021, to Feb 25th 2022 to sell my house with no chain or complications involved. – 7 months to the day ! The stress, financial loss, anxiety and burden it put on me and my family is not to be measured. I sent over 100 emails, chased, harassed, begged for communication, assistance, updates and ended up doing most of the heavy lifting myself. I am exhausted after 7 months of dealing with total incompetence, left with a £3k financial hole and shot nervous system to boot! Just check below the surface at PPLs very poor performance, don’t be fooled by the veneer of green stars on trust pilot. I would advise that you stay clear unless you have the energy to do battle! Purple bricks need to action due diligence on this company before throwing innocent clients to the wolves!
