Customer service very poor, promised replacement and NOTHING.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DISAPPOINTMENT”
“First, the order arrived on time and in good shape, and I am extremely pleased with it.
My problem is with the customer service, which is practically nonexistent!
When I had finished around 15 hours of making my photobook, I went to place my order. On the basket page it said 'Today Only,' in red letters,'Order an extra copy for £1'. I had been debating whether to get an extra copy so I excitedly added a copy. However it simply doubled the price. I thought it must take it off at checkout, so proceeded. It didn't. And as it was a Sunday at about 9pm I couldn't ring anyone to sort it out. But I thought if I don't place the order today I won't get the deal. So I paid the full amount and immediately sent an email explaining the situation, stupidly thinking that such a big company would happily sort out what was obviously a problem on their end. I was very wrong!!!
I got a response to my email that didn't at all address the issue. I replied, just to be ignored. I sent another email 2 days later asking why I had not had a response. I got an email from the original operative telling me to go and place another order to get today's offer! I replied, just to be ignored again.
Then I tried calling. A man told me he would have to look into it and would ring me back, he didn't. I called again and there was no record to show that I had even called the first time! I spoke to a lady who kept telling me that there was nothing they could do. I explained that if they didn't honour the offer then it was a con. She promised me that a manager would ring me back that day. Apparently there was no manager on the floor, and there is no complaints department. I asked for the contact details of the GM, or CEO, as it's a 'family firm' according to the website, but she wasn't allowed to give me that!
Anyway, we are now at gone 3pm the next day and guess what? I haven't had a call.
I'm seriously considering emailing Trading Standards. How can they have offers on their website, then don't honour them when their computer messes up? It's not on.
I was seriously looking at the next thing to order from them, but I think I should go elsewhere!”
“I ordered a canvas print with the pictures all collated in the shape of a love heart. When the canvas arrived the heart no way near filed the canvas and in the bottom corner is has a random print saying Morgans 2017! This has no relevance to me whatsoever! I spoke with someone at Printerpix and they advised me that they could/would not do anything as it is what I had selected when building the print up. I genuinely thought it was a template/example but I did pay extra for any Printerpix logos to be removed anyway! I ordered this for a gift and it is now useless and I cannot get an exchange or refund. They advertise 100% Money-Back Guarantee but because it’s personalised (which everything is on their website) they will not help!! Very disappointing experience and would not recommend!”
“I ordered a metal print on 1/7/2024. I finally received it on 1/28/2024. It was defective with 2 dents in it and I didn't receive the wall mounting kit that I paid extra for. I would have been embarrassed to give it as an engagement gift, as that was the reason I ordered it. I sent an email with pictures of the damaged print on the day I received it. The next day after not getting a response, I called and spoke with Kevin. We agreed on my getting a refund and he said he would submit it for processing. That was on Jan 29th. Yesterday, Feb 8th, I sent Kevin an email because I hadn't received my refund. It had been 10 days! He said it was in the process of obtaining approval from the finance dept. Seriously, it's been 10 days and it's still in processing for approval? I get sent a damaged/defective product and it's taking weeks to get my refund. Guess they like using peoples money. Never Again, and I Do Not recommend Printerpix to anyone for anything. If something is wrong with your finished product, good luck with receiving your refund. They process it from a different century, if at all! I give it 0 stars, not even 1.”
“I originally wrote a negative review with 1 star as I never received a reply on questions asking status of my project until I wrote that review. A couple weeks following that review my photobook arrived. I have received nothing by overwhelming positive responses on how beautiful the book is and the quality of the pages. I agree, the end project is of high quality.”
“Awful! Ordered a blanket and never received a confirmation but I saw the payment on my bank statement. Called to make sure I didn’t make a mistake. Was assured it would be here in time for Christmas. It still hasn’t arrived. Never again!”
“I got Groupon for their services. I submitted my project on 12/9, and paid extra for 7-9 business days service, because I will need to have it for my travel oversea on 12/21. I called and was told that I would have it not later than 12/21. However, It is not yet shipped out on 12/21. I called many many times since Monday, but was told that it will get to me before Christmas.
I am now have no present for my in-laws, and I will have to spend $130 to FedEx oversea, not knowing it will get there before we return home.
I will never use them again. My other project to Mixbook came back in shorter time and flawlessly.”
“I placed an order on 12/9 and its been "sent to courier" since 12/15. I reached out via online chat and email regarding the order and where it is and nothing but crickets from this company- will never use them again- Christmas for grandma officially ruined- thanks Printerpix”
“Absolutely awful experience! I caution anyone using the site. I spent hours collating my parent in law Christmas present and opted for the most expensive photo book of their rage. I submitted the order over a week ago and chased up with their customer support (after waiting for an hour) who assured me that my photo book was in the final stages of printing! On Saturday evening I get a bland to the point email that my order has been cancelled because the file is blank! When I replied immediately and questioned the validity of the excuse I got no reply.i have asked for a full refund and heard nothing back so there goes £126 wasted! On top of that what would have been a lovely present for my parent in law who are flying in from Italy this Christmas is completely ruined! I am furious and so unbelievably disappointed by the service their staff and their attitude”
“I have sent numerous emails regarding my order, #64318377, and have not received a reply or acknowledgement of order. I did receive an email on December 4 that the order was being prepared. It is now December 16 and still nothing. Is this order lost? It is quite spendy for the service.”
“Categorically the worst customer experience ever. Hannah Ashley’s be Sybil Stephen have both ignored multiple emails since the 27th November. I was sent the incorrect product that I did not purchase, the quality was absolutely horrific, so rough and like cardboard, could not give this gift to my son and printerpix are ignoring all contact. Sybil offered me a refund of my postage but as I declined this has now been ignoring my emails since yet they supplied faulty goods. Stay well clear”
“I can't comment on the finished blanket because I haven't gotten it. I've had several back and forths with the company about the delay in my product getting to me. Not worth the hassle. I needed it 2 days ago and was "assured" I'd get it. Customer service is "so nice" and just says what you want to hear. Still haven't seen it. Won't order from here again as they promise delivery in 10-15 business days but it doesn't happen.”
“I ordered an A4 calendar priced at £8.85 on the website plus £5.99 postage. Total should be £14.84 but I was charged £18.57. I have a screen shot showing my order summary with prices incorrectly totalled. I have emailed the company twice with a copy of the screen shot and complaining of overcharging but have not received a reply or even an acknowledgement of the email. They need to sort out their customer services if they expect good reviews. I feel cheated by them.”
“Extremely bad experience.
I ordered 2 photobooks on April 9th (I should add that the website was extremely slow and it was a real hardship to create the photobooks, it took us more than 4 hours). The photobooks processing time was written (only at the end of the process) to being between 2 and 9 business days. At 10 business day, the order was still not processed so I contacted them. They told me to be patient and tried to let me know how to count business days. When I told them I knew what business days were and showed them that we were at 10, they stopped answering my email. We are today at 11 business days and I still have no answer, my order is still not processed and not sent.
If you have pictures or photobooks to print, I would advice you to do it somewhere else. It was my first experience with them and it will be my last one.”
“I always use this company for my photobooks. The website is very easy and quality of the books fantastic. Delivery is very prompt also. If, and when, I've had need to use Customer Services, they have always answered my queries quickly and to my satisfaction. In particular, this time, Kayla, was exceptional in resolving my problem”
“Poor print quality (all pixelated), long lead times (3weeks+), eternal chats (more than 6 weeks now) with ill-prepared customer service not willing to admit errors and refund for poor quality products. Avoid it!”
“Ordered two metal pics with hanging kits. Received two metal pics and only one hanging kit. Customer service wants a screen shot to get beyond first base. Really a shot of what is not there? Unwilling to look at what I ordered and send along what is missing. Also ordered early December in plenty of time for Xmas and not received until after. Now I am giving one partial gift while hoping to get the missing piece. Aside from this I'd also say the received product is pretty cheap quality for the cost. Live and learn.”
“These people are deceptive... They promote a discounted "gift card". When you try to redeem the e gift card for a product ... It is not a gift card at all... It is a discount coupon. Trying to reach customer service ?! Good luck for the non existent phone number nor is there a chat!”
“I ordered six photo albums from Printerpix via Groupon. The process of designing the album went OK, although I was annoyed to be bombarded with OTT spam emails, often several per day. Unfortunately, this enthusiasm did not extend to dealing with a customer problem. Instead of receiving six albums, I was sent two. I used the Printerpix email system to ask for the missing four albums, but my email was not answered. I phoned the helpline. After a 30 minute wait listening to the usual irritating messages and jingles I was connected to a 'customer services' person who couldn't have been less helpful. She advised me to not go through Groupon in future which was a bit rich as her company had set up the Groupon scheme, and the albums would have been very expensive without their discount. She clearly could not find my data. I asked her to look up the email I had sent, but she said she could not find it among hundreds they had received - perhaps she was unable to do simple searches. She undertook to phone me back but never did. I contacted Groupon via their online chat, and their operator noted that one of my two coupons had not been cashed in. With this simple advice, I managed to get three more albums, making five instead of six. Printerpix replied to my email after a delay of two weeks and asked me whether my problem had been resolved. I explained what had happened, thinking to receive an apology, the missing album and maybe a goodwill voucher. A week later, they have not replied. I am describing these sorry events at length because I would not want anyone to go through the same experience. I had spent many hours designing my album and was relying on them for Xmas presents. If the Groupon operative had not spotted the unclaimed voucher, I would have wasted 20-30 hours of my time. I don't know whether other companies are better than Printerpix, but would advise anyone to avoid them. Even if the albums were missing because of my mistake, the company should have been easily able to sort out the problem.”
