“Prospera is a super great, affordable option for therapy for postpartum moms. It’s cognitive behavioral therapy, not “talk therapy” which I personally enjoy because I feel like I’m actually doing things and creating habits to feel better - rather than talking in a spiral about what’s wrong. My coach is educated and validating and has been really helpful so far. After only 3 sessions I already feel much better than I did before I started.”
“I've been working with Prospera for just a few weeks, and already I can feel so much relief from the tension I've been holding in my mind and body. I really love the weekly appointments that keep me accountable and allow the work I'm doing with my coach to flow. Prospera's approach to making therapy accessible to Mama's is really amazing. I love all the one pager information sheets on various mental health issues that affect so many mamas and even more, I appreciate the peer reviewed, evidence-based articles that link alot of these issues to scholary papers. It makes me feel less alone and validates so much of what I am going through as a Mama. I'm a big fan of Prospera and have referred a few friends already!”
“Nika's work is incredibly thoughtful. She is responsive both in the moment and has a ton of forethought. I have felt validated while also accomplished and reflective. She is masterful at what she does! - Signed, someone who has had very trying experiences in the world of therapy.”
“Prospera really helped me in the deepest postpartum depression when regular therapy wasn't enough. The coaches are empathetic and I appreciate how action centered the approach was.”
“I really like Katie, my coach, I can tell she’s paying attention to me when I talk and I feel heard after our sessions. I like the tools given to me and that she focuses on just listening if that’s what I need that week. I just wish insurance could cover my sessions so I could continue long term.”
“Prospera has been a great support platform that has helped me focus on my Paternal/Maternal related struggless and find clarity in learning through concepts and activities. The Talk-Therapy portion has been key for me, and allows me to process and release needed feelings and emotions.”
“Prospera helped me so much in postpartum. I was struggling with postpartum depression and rage for months. When I inquired I was able to start sessions quickly. If I would have waited for the standard route of care through my doctors office, I would have waited 4-6 weeks to be seen by anyone.
My coach helped me make sense of my feelings and thoughts and helped me discover what kinds of thoughts were triggering my emotions or actions. Eventually I was able to spot them on my own! So grateful for the care and support from Prospera and will be able to apply the tools and skills to multiple aspects of life!”
“Prospera has been exactly what I needed. I’m so happy I found it when I did. Postpartum is hard, being a mom is hard, being a woman is hard, balancing it all is hard, and I needed help coping with it all. I wanted help from someone who understood what I was going through and who had experience dealing with it. Being able to speak with someone weekly is very helpful, but also getting tools to use on your own time has proven to be even more helpful than I thought.”
“My entire experience with Prospera MHW has been smooth, stress-free, and helpful. Signing up and accessing sessions and materials is straightforward and easy. My coach has been wonderful and is helping me to dig deep to address underlying issues that cause negative emotions. I look forward to continuing to work with my Prospera coach & healing.”
“I wish I did this for myself years ago. My coach is so easy to open up to and has helped me learn how to manage emotions and work through postpartum anxiety in ways I never knew were possible. She is free of judgment and genuinely excited for me as I make progress. I want to introduce every mom I know to Prospera!”
“I am so grateful for Prospera. My experience with Emma has been such a positive one. I love that I can meet with a coach from my own home. I look forward to my session each week!”
“Prospera and my coach, Megan, have been so helpful to me in my postpartum season. I was having a really hard time with postpartum anxiety and depression, and struggling overall with my identity after the birth of my baby. I had a psychiatrist and tried antidepressants, but they just weren’t helpful. I did a quick Google search for therapists that specialized in pregnancy and postpartum and Prosper popped up. Prospera was offering me exactly what I needed - weekly sessions with someone who knew what I was going through and knew how to help me. Megan has been a wonderful coach. She listens to me, empathizes with me, and assigns me really helpful and insightful homework. It’s been so helpful to learn that my intrusive thoughts are common and normal, that my identity shift is to be expected, and that my anxious thoughts are just my brain’s way of trying to help me out. In my time with Megan, I’ve learned to spot thinking traps and reframe them. I feel like I have more control over my anxiety and depression and know when to scale back and rest when I’m overwhelmed. I’m a better mother and partner because of the work I have been putting in with Megan. Prospera has been everything I was needing and more. I couldn’t recommend them enough.”
“I loved lora beth! Everyone made me feel important and always communicated. I definitely felt heard and not alone, I learned alot of habits and practices to help me be a calm mom instead of yelling all the time. I appreciated every session. Also affordable 👌”
“I have really enjoyed this program because my coach has given me actionable assignments that have been helping me progress every week and she keeps me accountable and focuses on my most severe issues first.”
“Prospera is a God send. I’ve struggled with postpartum anxiety, rage, and depression for over a year. I wasn’t able to afford traditional counseling until I found Prospera. My coach Jessica listened but also provided good feedback and tangible things to do/ways to view a situation. She has helped me so much!”
