"They are dishonest, don\u2019t take care about clients. I am now have problems with my property because of their neglecting. Last year in may The gas inspector came to check the hob and the boiler, and he found problem with the hob and he was about to fix it, we waited more than 3 hours just to give their permission to fix it but they ignore us and the hob wasn\u2019t working for 2 weeks after I did a dozens of calls and emails, ( after I spent fortunt for delivery food). About the boiler the inspector said it has very high pressure and he put sticker said (danger don\u2019t use) in the same day that he came, even after I sent many many emails and thousands of calls that the boiler doesn\u2019t work properly they didn\u2019t do anything about it. Since last Thursday the boiler has been stopped and I don\u2019t have warm water or even heating system in this cold. I have many serous medical conditions and three kids I one of them is toddler. We are sleeping in the same bed to warm each other but it\u2019s very cold, they are crying complaining about this situation. I am using the kettle in the bathroom to give them a bath. “DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM!! I agree with most of the comments here. This company is a joke! I put a flat up to rent through them. The agent took pictures which were rubbish so I had to send them my own pics. The agent was sending inappropriate texts to my prospective tenant. He was sacked. I got them to quote for some repairs and their price was ridiculous. The rental agreement was signed before I had the chance to make amendments that I had requested. The inventory ignored work that I had done, It is almost impossible to contact them and they don't get back to you, I have had around 13 different names as contact points in first few months. They obviously can't keep staff. They are supposed to be "Fully managing" but I have had to arrange for gas testing & oven repairs. All they do is collect rent. I have told them I want to dump them and they are asking for £600 to get out of contract, which they won't get!!!. They are ignoring my requests for information on any professional bodies to which they belong as I want to make a complaint. ! star is 1 room any but there's not a box for ZERO. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THEM!!”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. Over the year I was a tenant with Purplebricks (Leicester branch) I rarely received any acknowledgment to my emails, unless it was to ask for money. I went through 3 different property managers and was never told when they changed. I had to jump though hoops to find out basic information about the property I was renting (it took 4 months to find out if I was entitled to a parking space). I had to email countless times about the poor condition of the windows in my flat, even after it was noted nothing was done about them, resulting in a build up of mould and difficulties with my breathing. No one was aware that I had signed another contract for a further 6 months in October leading to my utility accounts to be switched over and causing a great deal of stress. After I was told the property I was in would be sold, I was asked to be prepared for a viewing for a potential buyer of the property, I didn’t know I had to prepare to be an estate agent when a representative of the Purplebricks team/my landlord failed to show up. There was very little consideration when I told them I had lost my job due to this outbreak and asked if there was anything we could arrange, I was told I could either stay and pay full rent or leave (lovely bit of compassion, that). The icing on the cake came two days after my contract had ended and I had moved out as planned (during a nationwide lockdown no less), I received a phone call asking me to sign another six month tenancy as apparently no one was aware that I was moving out. My checkout report was another treat as I was accused of repainting my bathroom wall, when no such thing had happened, as well as leaving holes in the wall that were left by the previous tenant (and noted in the inventory). The Purplebricks team went on to advise my landlord to claim for half of my deposit to perform repairs and redecoration for things that were present when I moved in (also evident in my inventory). Neither Purplebricks nor my landlord showed any care in me or the property until it would get them money.”

“😡😡😡😡 DO NOT USE 😡😡😡😡 Absolutely awful company, charge you to do nothing. I had to take my own pictures in the end as the lady who came tried to advertise pictures that was horrid. I have complained numerous times and now have had to go the financial ombudsman to help. We was lied to by the agent who told us we wouldn’t have to pay until the house was sold but later found out after signing the contract that this was false as if your house is not sold with in 10 months you have to pay regardless. Communication skills from the agent is shocking, never answered calls or messages and when she did message she would completely ignore anything I asked. Would never buy or sell with these again 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡”

“please please please treat these con artists like a hand grenade with the pin out and avoid at all costs, unless you enjoy wasting money. they lie from the word go just to get you to sign up and then do absolutely nothing to justify the fees they charge.”

“Purple bricks are a disgrace ,still marketing property for sale ,even being made fully aware that this property is jointly owned and has not the permision of one of the owners to be sold as it is part of a divorce settlment that has yet to be finalised ,this has been reported to the ombudsman, but they are still advertising this property on their website ,rightmove have taken it of theirs”

“Purplebricks is the biggest SCAM!! a seller can fall for. Here is what you will go through. 1st you will pay them around $1500 in fees for the listing, then they will send you a salesperson who for some reason needs to use your bathroom every time he shows up. Once the pictures have been taken, he will advise you on a price point for your house. After this, the games begin, he will then proceed to let you know that, if you would like to attract more customers, we recommend you put a commission for REALTORS so they can be motivated to sell your house. What is that commission recommendation according to them? well around a minimum of 2%. Then they proceed to offer you, paperwork fees if you decide for them to handle your offers. Here is the Caviar, during the hot market you can pull this off selling your house privately using their useless website, as a matter of fact my pigeon can sell a house during the hot market. However things get complicated if you live outside of the Toronto area, simply because their listings belong to the Toronto Realtor Board. So basically if you want to sell you house outside of Toronto, you are screwed using their site. On top of that, you need to pay commission to attract Realtors. So what exactly does purprick do besides rip you off. Nothing! DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM! THIS COMPANY IS A BIG LIE.”

“We tried to arrange a viewing, confirmed via the app and then cancelled at the last minute. They claimed they had accepted an offer but hadn’t taken it off the market. We are FTB with nothing to sell. Or request was declined and I was told that if the situation changed we would be notified. The sale fell through some 6 months later... did they get in touch? No. We didn’t hear anything until I spotted the house was being advertised again. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude. Hopefully the local agent will be better but having worked in housing for 15 years I am appalled by the service so far.”

“Paul Fenna, utter muppet!!! Absolute cowboys. Deceitful advertising. I only found out the true property status once I had already engaged a solicitor. They lied about it being freehold, it wasn't. They lied about the garage being directly behind the property, it wasn't (100 metres away). They lied about having a power of attorney in place, it wasn't. Avoid these idiots like the plague.”

“Purple Bricks totally misled me with regards to the service they offer and their fee/ charging structure. The ONLY thing they are good at is harassing you for money. Apart from that simply by far the worst experience I have ever had from an Estate Agent. They are a law unto themselves. Treat them like the plague they are.”

“Under absolutely NO circumstances should you have any dealings with this Company. They misrepresented their fees and charges, lied about their service and are totally inept and incompetent. The ONLY thing they are any good at is harrassing you for their fees even though they didn’t manage to find one single genuine interested viewer. Useless... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.”

“0 stars Ignored situation, charge fees even if house doesn't sell, or repossessed. I had a very small amount of time to sell, took 6 weeks to get on market. Never sold. Advised having financial difficulties, which they ignore, ignored my emails and phone calls. Now having to deal with debt agencies, in an already stressful time. In times of such uncertainty, Coronavirus no work, they do this. No customer consideration at all. So if your house sells or not they won't care, as you pay either way!! DO NOT USE!!”

“Shocking service Every appointment we have to chase up! Have switched from using agent to do viewings our self 90% of booked viewings cancel with no explanation or communication which has led me to believe they book fake bookings! Have had to use a high street chain now to try and work with a respected professional estate agent! These people have no shame and no respect for people! Disgusting to treat house sellers this way!”

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. IGNORE ALL GOOD REVIEWS, They will have a local agent visit your property and sell you the dream. Let me emphasise the word "SELL". The service after you sign up with PurpleBricks is non existent. They have no incentive to sell your property, THEY GET PAID WHETHER THEY SELL OR NOT. You will be doing all the chasing and work yourself even if you agree for PurpleBricks to manage viewings. Traditional agents may be more expensive, but they provide better service. If you go with PurpleBricks you'll get such a poor service and eventually instruct a local estate agent to sell your property, paying double. PurpleBricks will still want their money. I used PurpleBricks for two months of bad service and they still want their full fee. My complaints were met with "they were not there, so can't comment". They have not accepted responsibility. You have to constantly look at the app for viewings as they will not contact you at all. Their app conveniently has technical issues all the time. STICK WITH TRADITIONAL ESTATE AGENT. Pay more but you'll get better results”

“paid upfront fee, was on the market with them for 3 months and had 3 viewings. not easy to contact and just didnt seem to be interested once they were paid. They had our fee so sell or not they have been paid. Went with a real estate agent and had almost a dozen viewings within the same period, the incentive being no sale no pay with a real estate agent. would not recommend purple bricks to my worst enemy.”
