I have shopped for decades at Reitmans and like a lot of other working women, it was a great place for pants , tops and active wear. Quality was good and it was nice to stroll through the store for sales. With two other stores i used to shop at going out of business , I took a look at Reitmans. Ordered a tan and black floral pant and a pair of linen blend wide leg Pants in black. I still own a pair in black and grey from years ago. My go to cruising pants for dinner. Patterned pants were $57 which I only paid because I was hoping they would be a good vacation pants Arrives today and the floral were a viscose/rayon blend that looked like so cheap, the linen blend pant was nothing like my earlier pairs and the fabric was so thin and cheap looking. Those were $27.99 after two markdowns. Very disappointed and will be returning to store for refund. There goes another store that I will no longer order from. Cheap fabrics and no longer quality clothing. I don’t normally send in reviews but it is getting hard to find places for me to shop (67) So sad…

I wish there was a way to give a zero. I have been a regular at Reitman’s for years. The store is my go-to for work pants. I have purchased many of the Iconic pants. I purchased 2 pairs on sale. I didn’t really need them but took advantage of the sale. Unlike previous pants from Reitman’s, these were made of material that doesn’t hold its shape, unlike the usual pants I have purchased. They seemed ok until I wore them, then turned into BAGGY pants. The problem is I didn’t wear them right away. By the time I did and tried to return them, too much time had gone past. they refused to consider them defective for a return. Both at the store and at customer service, but not before getting me to do a bunch of running around for receipts and pictures. WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN !!

I went into reitmans store in Stonebridge, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan today - nov. 15. Two employees working - neither one acknowledged me. It was not a busy time. Music was blaring. I was looking for a specific item and had to check stock myself. Did not purchase anything. Will not return.

I ordered a Bra on line. When I finally got it, it was a different size to what I ordered. I tried for over a week to get hold of someone to help me with the return. I eventually got a someone who emailed me to tell me that they didn't have the size I wanted so they sent me another size. WTF. I noticed on the return label that they then charged me for the return shipping on my credit card - without my consent. Seriously?! Their website terms even state that they pay for return shipping if the wrong item was shipped. I will never buy from them again!

A former employee of reitmans and yes I'm sore about how I was forced to give my 2 weeks notice Last October I was in a car accident (not my fault) and reitmans was nice enough to accommodate my winter schedule as I was scared to drive to and from work (from millet to leduc) without a driver I just recently accepted a job in the town of millet which changed my availability back to weekends only with winter coming I assumed my availability would still be ok, don't ever assume Management/district manager agreed that my availability was not accommodating for the company. I was told if I could not commit to 3 days a week they couldn't help me out. So if I decided to only do weekends through the winter I would have been left without a job if I didn't help myself out be getting a new 1 with the commitment of 3 days a week This is very obvious that I would have been left high and dry from this company Now don't get me wrong I loved working for reitmans but since the customer service rules have changed it is very hard to be customer oriented For example, employees are suppose to interact with customers holding no clothes opposed to a customer holding 10 items as THEY have already committed where as the customer with no clothes needs to be introduced to new items and give them multiple add ons but if there is no customer service for the committed ones, why would they come back. The problem is if you're not 100% customer oriented then why are you there? You know I wasn't even offered to be demoted so I can keep my job there to 1 or both days out of the weekend ( I would have been ok with that ) but not even considered by management as we all know that management or anyone for that matter to live off 1 pt job, I needed a 2nd pt job just to make ends meat I will miss all of my customers as I know they will miss me When I went to work I gave 150%, and got nothing in return when all was said and done to the ending of my employment Forced out, just not fair!

Bought items totalling $155 and then a day later went 40 % off.. I am so taken back because I had emailed the day of the sale not knowing that it needed to be dealt with in store. So when I received the info to return to the store to address the price adjustment the flash sale was over and told I was no longer eligible, since a few days had past I wore two of the shirts and brought the other two in with receipt. This was still not sufficient because the sale was no longer happening, and I had worn two items. Well of course I wore them I just bought them. I didn’t want to return them I just wanted the price adjustment. You expect every customer to wait ten days before wearing their purchase in order to receive any price adjustment or this is just the way the store does business so it doesn’t have to address price drops. I am sincerely disheartened both by the treatment when I went into the store and this policy that will make most people ineligible for a price reduction because I wore what I purchased, after I bought it. That’s slimy business. As for the conduct of the staff , who was apparently on the management team there, I was absolutely appalled at the dismissive attitude and inability to problem solve. Forgive me if I am wrong but is customer service not a key aspect of customer retention and honouring price adjustments in a reasonable way so they don’t feel ripped off when and if returning to the store? I purchased a sweater online and it was processed right away with the message that the delivery was the next day! 2,5 weeks passed with no delivery. After I inquired about the status of my delivery, they said that was normal and if there is no delivery in next two weeks to contact them again.

I was not impressed with the customer service I received today February 23rd at Reitmans, Market Mall in Calgary. I have always purchased the same iconic black pant in a size 8 regular for many years now. The last 2 I bought did not fit the same after washing them. They were defective in that it changed its shape and the crotch was too long and did not fit the same at all. I decided to let them know where I purchased them that I can’t wear them because of that reason. The salesperson with the number 888888 said she would give me store credit which was fine with me. She had a horrible attitude stating that I kept changing the reason for the return in fact I had only mentioned that that were defective and did not fit the same after being washed. After giving me the store credit she did not acknowledge me when I thanked her not once but twice. The reason she put on the return was ‘does not like’ which is not correct either. Unbelievably poor service, you only get good service when you purchase an item which is wrong. I have always shopped at Reitmans but won’t be going back!

Reitmans is the worst to deal with when it comes to customer service and package related issues especially when dealing with a lost parcel. My package got stolen from community mailbox and Reitmans didn't even open a claim with Canada post. There customer service agents are very unprofessional, rude and have no knowledge. I would never buy any clothes from them in future.

They sent the wrong item from their RCL marketplace and have not helped with the return or refund. The website was useless, customer service witched agents, put on, they hung up and did not follow up. The store would not accept the return because the item code is not in their system. It has been impossible for over three weeks to return the item. I will not buy from Reitmans again.

I made an order online on Sept 15,2023. The full order amounted to $48.84. I was charged $7.95 shipping. I was short the required $49 purchase to receive free shipping. I was 16 cents short on my order to receive free shipping thinking the shipping was free. I made a call requesting a credit for the $7.95 shipping charge. I did explain that I thought it petty of the company to have charged me this. I had just made a purchase of $298.22 on Sept. 23. Because I was refused the credit I asked for I will Return all of the purchases I made this month. I don't need anything bad enough to keep the merchandise after being treated this way.

Hey Reitmans, your store manager said it was normal for a sweater to pile. She showed me hers and said it was piling too. You are selling garbage.

I unfortunately had a bad experience with my recent order. Although I had changed my address on my account page, they still sent my order to my old address. They assured me that canada post would redirect as I had done a change of address with them. It clearly states on canada post website that they DO NOT redirect parcels. Customer service at Reitmans misled me. So now my order has been delivered to my old address and Customer service is saying too bad don't care its my fault for not changing my address, which I did do at the time of ordering. I am out money, no order, they don't care, so I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

I ordered a pair of jeans online which were $54.90 but with a discount code of $10.98 coupon, I paid $43.92 plus shipping & taxes. Well I received the jeans which had a price tag on them of $54.90 with an orange sale sticker on top of $19.99? I understand they were obviously on sale and apparently not when I purchased them however how tacky is it to send them with this sale price on them. To make matters worse, I emailed them to let them know how tacky this was expecting I would get an apology and what I got instead was an email asking me to send the info and I have 3 days to do it. I did it in minutes of reading the email. I also included pics of my purchase receipt and a picture of the tag which was a bit blurry but when I made it larger, you could totally see the price and the bright orange sticker over top of it with the $19.99 on it. Well after returning the info "Customer Service" requested along with pictures, I received another email the following day "Thank you for contacting us and for sharing those pictures. In regards to your inquiry, please note that according to the forwarded pictures, the price seen on the tag is at $54.90. Could you please provide us a clear picture of the tag you mentioned showing the item at $19.99? This would help us assist you better. Thank you for your consideration and patience. To which I responded "Sorry, I knew it was a bit blurry but was able to increase the size to see it. I hope you can see the orange sticker better in this pic. Yes, I can also see the price tag with $54.90 on it along with the bright orange $19.99 on top of that price? Maybe you have a Supervisor that would be better to deal with this since you should be apologizing for such a tacky incident rather than going back & forth in emails? Please have a Supervisor contact me with any further correspondence because your Customer service skills appear to be lacking. The whole point was to let them know what happened as it's rather tacky but instead of an apology and a thanks for letting us know so we can look into this and ensure it doesn't continue to happen, I got emails like it was a game? I guess Customer Service is a thing of the past!
