“Misrepresentation bordering on fraud in most any other industry. Buried terms and conditions. I find their ethics wanting. I think their owners Expedia.com perpetuate the abuse of the Consumer Marketplace. They present a excessive amount of non-useful information to cover up the fact that you are going to pay a non-refundable payment by using their site. Zero accountability. I am requesting investigation by the Attorney's General Office.”

“I truly wish I saw these reviews before I used this site. Listen to the ratings, they are real!! Customer service is incredibly lackin.! First of all, they will only answer your call immediately if you push the "book a new" reservation prompt. If you have an issue (want to change, cancel or anything else) you will wait on hold for quite some time. I tried calling 3 separate times to resolve an issue because they continue to say they there is nothing they can do and then they disconnect the call. So incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional. Assistance is not there after your money is in their hands. Think twice about Reservations.com.”

“As many have stated below their site is a crock. I went to book a hotel specifically in Spartanburg, SC. I got to the final page and clicked confirm and receive an email for a hotel in Somerset, PA. I immediately contacted them and they said they would look into it. This was on 5/26. On 7/20 after multiple back and forth emails, I was denied a refund with zero explanation. Embarrassing practices and will not recommend them.”

“This place is a scam site. I searched for a hotel in MD, was given room descriptions and a price, made a reservation, and in the confirmation email found out that the reservation was for a hotel in Colorado and non-refundable. I called reservations.com immediately, 5/24/21,was told they would look into it and get back to me in 7 to 10 days. On 7/18/21 they said too bad.”

“I made a reservation during may of 2020. The hotel was closed due to covid 19. I asked for a refund and they completely denied it. Never again will I go threw reservation.com”

“DO NOT USE THIS SITE!! They are the worst in the industry. Read the other reviews for yourself. I was just ripped off. Thought I was making a reservation for the Congress hotel in Chicago and got another hotel I never even heard of. 15 minutes later I was connected to a representative who canceled my reservation. When I inquired if there was any charge she balked and then said there was a $20 non refundable fee!! I cancelled within 20 minutes!”

“They make you think that you are getting a deposit back from your reservation but then they dont and say its their fee for finding you a room. The room was under $200 and i was charged $288. I called and they said too bad its in the fine print”

“I was completely scammed by them online. Price was completely different than advertised...They wont credit back my credit card. Taking it up with American Express for assistance. DONT USE THEM”

“My 84-year-old mother accidentally booked a reservation with reservations.com thinking she was on a legitimate site. They charged her for 3 rooms and refused to refund the other two.”

“Do not use them! They are crooks and they lie. After making a reservation we needed to cancel and they said it was no problem but that it would be a $19 fee. But then they couldn't find my reservation, so couldn't cancel it. Then they said if we just didn't show up at the hotel the charge would drop off the pending charge list. That didn't happen, they didn't cancel it, but then I got a $19 charge for cancelling too!”

“BUYER BEWARE! This is a scam. They charge your account right away, before you can figure out that you're not booking directly through the hotel. This is a major red flag. Then I was hung up on multiple times while trying to get a refund. They need to be reported.”

“This company is a BIG scam. They overcharge you with fees and there are non refundable fees that they don’t make this transparent until after they process your credit card. I am going to contest this charge with my credit card company. DO NOT USE Reservations.com unless you want to pay extra.”

“this site charges MORE than the actual website of the hotel, I had thought i was using the Hotel website to book the room AND then saw additional charge of $19.99 after checking the Room was abou 70% more than the Hotel website. AND this 19.99 charge is NON-Refundable.... I cancelled anyway as these guys are CROOKS charging this.”

“We thought we were dealing with the hotel. We did not notice we were redirected to Reservations.com. We made a reservation for three nights at a cost of about $990. The hotel has a one day full refund cancelation policy. Reservations.com does not honor the hotels cancelation policy and they said we would have to pay for one of the three nights. Instead of keeping one third of our $990 for one night they claimed more than one half of the $990.”

“Don't use this site to book your reservation! They charge a useless fee of $19.95 on top of the room rate and taxes. If you are making a reservation within 7 days of travel, the reservation is non refundable and they charge your card IMMEDIATELY! I also was not aware that I was using a 3rd party app for my reservation in the first place because I went to the hotel's website (or so I thought) to make it. They are a scam. It's only $20, but it is very maddening to realize you've been duped.”

“If I could give them zero stars I would. I called to make a room change and they said no changes or refunds. That's when I found out they also charged me hidden fees of $19.99. There manager is Jane also very rudly said it's in fine print, I agreed to the charges.”
