No customer service or live talk, just bots that don't pretain to your question in particular. When thought I was scammed the site told me to wait 14 days to report it, why so the scammer can change all info and skate free.

Letting people post guitars as in immaculate condition when there's chips on the bottom/ blemishes on the frets. Just got burned on a 1400 purchase and I'm extremely unhappy with it. I don't think I'll ever do business with reverb again literally got scammed. Can't even change my review to give the seller a 1 star I thought the guy was legit.

It’s not really the sites fault. Everything on the site is so insanely overpriced it is mind boggling. The people listing gear on this site are completely delusional and insane. Unless of course there are people stupid enough to pay these insane prices. I can’t last 5 minutes looking at this site without being completely insulted by the asinine prices and having to leave.

Reverb.com they are straight up crooks! I sold an item on reverb and never got paid. It’s going on 3 1/2 weeks now, and still no reply from them they even went as far as shutting down my account with no explanation of why I would never refer anyone to Reverb.Com the customer service is very poor, because they have no customer service you can’t even talk to no one verbally you when you call their number! So if there’s anyone going through the same thing I’ve been through with this disgraceful business, called Reverb.com company!❌ Please refer to the Better Business Bureau. BBB

I made several purchases with no problem but when I went to sell an expensive guitar, it was a very bad experience. I never shipped and I will never do business with reverb again

I bought an instrument new from one of their sellers, $5,770.00 AUD purchase. It arried with manufacture defects and did not arrive with a case for it as detailed in the ad's promo video. Asked for refund or partial refund. They tried to fault me for it. When I went to PayPal for intervention their email to me stated "I have to note, if you file an erroneous dispute on our site again, this will affect your account status." I will not be using this site again. Futher to this if you have a complaint they give you 24 hours to respond or they close the complaint, but they give themselves 3 days to respond to you, Very poor customer service and attitude.

Was really reluctant to buy guitar on line but reverb made it easy. Come from small town with really nice music store and I love to support my hometown businesses. That being said there was no way they could beat the deal I found on reverb. There is nothing you can't find and for the best price if you look long enough. Also like the way money is handled. Took the worry out of the equation after 1st deal. Love it!

Order An pedal board. board was broken when i receive it return the pedal board to the seller and did not get a full refund. don't buy at this site. you are going to lose money.

I sold a guitar on 9/12/23.. payment confirmed by Reverb. I verified my bank for deposit with their third party service company Plaid. As of 10/21/2023 no proceeds from sale by Reverb has been posted. On Reverb's website when attempting a follow up inquiry re: deposit of sale proceeds to my verified account via Plaid does not provide direct contact, only a plethora of FAQ's. Thus I have no access to get someone at Reverb involved to follow up and effect deposit of sale proceeds. Not-with-standing is reverb account details showing sale and I should receive funds from sale with 2 days. It's been 7+ days.

The concept is good, but as a seller you're paying through the teeth for a beefed up buy and sell platform. It's good that buyers can read reviews on products and make some comparisons, see historical selling prices, and have some confidence buying through an established site, but as a seller you don't end up with a decent return. Also, I got very little interest in the items I had advertised, despite them being priced much lower than others and in excellent condition. Makes me wonder. Sold the items locally more easily and quickly, and took home more money than I would have on Reverb, and no "return policy". This platform might work for those in a more remote area with a weak local market, not sure. Took forever to get my account set up and verified as well.

Reverb is a scam. Plain and simple. I have made many purchases without issue, but cannot reclaim the profits from a sale. They will not release the funds from my sale and have frozen my account. I did not provide a bank account number for a return that I was never charged for and this is their reason for freezing the account indefinitely. Additionally, there is no human, or contact phone number to talk to a human to resolve these issues. Only a BOT that does not provide a single answer.

Total buyers market. You have to upcharge a ton to get your money's worth. I sold a guitar for $800 and only got paid out $590 after all of their processing fees and the shipping label. Good for getting a quick buck, but not for getting the worth of your product. Hands down I should've gotten the full $800 minus the shipping, but since I didn't try and sell local, I got got.

STAY AWAY FROM REVERB.COM Customer service is a bot that doesn’t have a clue what you’re saying or trying to resolve. I have 2 items for sale on reverb.com now even though I can’t get into my account because I went to update my financial information & it wouldn’t update. I’ve bought & sold music/audio items on reverb until I got a new credit/debit card with a new expiration date. It wouldn’t let me update the information after many tries. It also wanted my account info which I provided & nothing updated. I deleted my reverb.com app since I can’t use it and items are still for sale on the website. What a messed up business. I also sold a mouthpiece to a sax player & he modified it & ruined the mouthpiece & sent it back. Reverb.com didn’t want to deal with it so they referred it to the credit card companies & they denied my claim. STAY AWAY! REVERB.COM is a ripoff

RUN....DON'T WALK. GET AWAY FROM IMHO DEN OF THIEVES. 2 of the 3 times I've purchased anything on REVERB, the Sellers charged my account for an item never shipped. Getting a refund is like pulling teeth. Sellers and REVERB bounce you back and forth between them. I'm still missing over $80.00 in non-authorized charges that have not been refunded.

I’ve tried for a week to list something on Reverb. Finially got someone named Lorrie to help and she was no help at all. Left me hanging. I’m going to try to find someone on Mars to sell with. Guarantee it will be easier.

After making two purchases and one sale in 2018, my account was suspended in the five years of inactivity with absolutely no explanation. Supposedly due to a “violation of terms or suspicious activity”. There is no way to successfully contact them for answers. Emails to the company will be met with a bot response claiming that it won’t even reach anyone, and account suspension apparently cannot be discussed via their live chat support. Customer service is virtually nonexistent. Buy your music gear on eBay, Amazon, Sweetwater…literally any other company is 100% worth doing business with instead. F*ck Reverb.
