STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!!! FRAUD! They blocked my account and my money without reason before more than 1 month.All clear in my account, the money comes only from other my account and all payments which I made with revolut card are to bigger UK companies FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD! On 11.01.2021 I made a complaint.On 12.01.2021 I received email in which they answered on my complaint “ Hi Yonko Dobrev, We’re sending you this email to confirm that we’ve received your complaint. We take all feedback seriously and we want you to know that we're going to fully review your query and get back to you with a response as soon as possible. For complaints, this should only take a few days, but in some circumstances, it could take up to 15 days.” Today is 30.01.2011 No ANSWER ON MY COMPLAINT,NO ANSWER ON MY MESSAGES- FULL IGNORE!!! I WANT TO ASK WHICH ANOTHER BANK ON THE WORLD WILL DO THIS?

Small time crooks. Instead of listening to people's complaints about revolut I gave them a try and deeply regretted it. I had my money blocked for 8 weeks in total. Clueless agents who have no interest in assisting you, answer with a copy-paste answer and then be quiet for weeks. People, DO NOT entrust these amateurs with your money!!! There's a reason why they low/bad reviews, they are amateurs.

I was a client of Revolut for more than 2 years, all was good, I never mind that can happen or happening case with other people, I just watch the video about how much cool company Revolute. So, I was blocked today with 1000$ on account, support from morning still not answer, only few bot say like just wait... So Revolut has a new business: it's robbery but with the law cover.

my identity was stolen and used to open a revolut account, I reported this fraud countless times to revolut agents and I was not helped besides the poor security for new users revolut I do not stop the reported frauds

Everything was great until I've been asked to prove my source of funds. Since I sent them my documents, no one has responded me yet. I chatted with a live Agent and that agent sent me to another agent, now I'm stuck because since I was waiting for that live Agent to respond. I've been waiting for days. How many days do you really need to verify some PDFs? How many days???

I have been with Revolut for approx 4years and have generally found their services really good. BUT this week I was unable to exchange GBP to EUR and contacted support. I was told I was running an old version of the app and needed to uninstall it and reinstall the new version. I did this and haven't been able to access my account since. All the money I own is in there and there is no way to get help outside of the app! And even in-app it is very difficult. So I am now without food, money for petrol, cannot pay my bills and absolutely desperate. If you look at Revolut community there are hundreds of people like me that haven't been able to access their own money, in some cases for months! I would strongly recommend not putting any money with these guys because when you get a problem, you are on your own!

I have been a client of Revolut for 2 years now. I haven't used the app in a while because I only mostly use it when traveling. I tried to sign up and I noticed they closed my account. When i ask their customer service why did they banned me from the platform the told me " I can't tell why is that as I simply don't know."No reason at all to close my account. So if they that to me thell do it to anyone. Dont recommend using them they are untrustworthy.

Terrible system since they switch to lithuanian accounts. Everything worked fine before but now they have no information whatsover about any problem you ask them. Their customer service is full of incompetent employees who respond to your question with a useless response and never actually solve your issues. You'd expect to have better support with their paid plan but no, your problem isnt solved and you get taxed on it. Looking for another international bank system because this one is downright horrible.

Terrible! Froze account, saying I needed to provide info - but nothing happens when you try and click the alert. Don't even bother trying to get through to customer service, as it's non existent. The supposed web chat will just hang on 'looking for an agent' indefinitely.

I am an EU citizen living in the UK for 2 years. I pay all my taxes and I have my pre-settled status. It is unacceptable that Revolut has as only options for the verification process the options of showing your UK passport or UK driver's license. Both of which I didn't have the opportunity of acquiring yet. When I contacted the customer support they advised me (after waiting for hours) that the only way of me showing that I live in the UK is by sending them my Visa or my residence permit. I didn't have either as these are issued to non-EEA. I informed them that I can prove my right to live and work in the UK by the shared code issued by the government as indicated in my pre-settled status. They didn't accept it. Consequently, they informed me that I can't open an account. It's unbelievable.

I made a purchase online and it was unsuccessful but on revolut statement it appeared as pending, so Revolut held my money, I couldn’t revert and it took 10 days until they returned my money. Then the second time it happened, I chatted the customer services few times and they said they would revert the money but needed me to wait until the next day after the failed transaction and then another 10 hours. But then they gave me ‘NO’. I did provide the email screenshot from the merchant which stated that the money is not transferred to them and It should be refunded to me in 48hours by the bank, if not I should contact the card provider. What a lousy service and policy Revolut have. Truly wasted of my time to contact them many times and given empty promises, at the end they didn’t help at all, they made it difficult by asking me to contact the merchant again when it’s already so obvious that the merchant has said to look for the card provider.

The customer support is horrible. I waited 15 minutes, and chatted for another 10 the support agent didn’t help and said that her shift was over and handed the case to another agent who also was not able to help and said his shift is over and handed the case to the third agent. They have deposit limits and I am not able to deposit even $100.

Revolut should not be allowed to trade. They suspended my account and asked for information I’m regards some transactions. Property sale so I provided completion statements from Solicitors as requested. Then I was asked for bank statements, then they asked why I had travelled and to provide evidence I had. Then they asked for a residence permit for the country I’d travel to on holiday. It just got silly but I decided to continue to act in a professional manner and have provided them with more information I’ve ever given to anyone including banks when I was running a very large company years ago. No matter what I do this account will not be opened. I’ve reached this conclusion as it’s impossible to chat to a person on the telephone. I’ve been chatting online to a Woman who refused to give me her name. I’m receiving random messages now that seem to be not in connection to my account. I reply only to receive messages that are clearly produced by a computer. It’s very frustrating. By balance is around £1850 and lucky for me I can continue without it. It’s lost I’m sure as I’m told by a Solicitor that Revolut are always in trouble with various government institutions. GET YOUR MONEY OUT IF ITS IN. IF ITS NOT IN DONT RISK IT. REVOLUT CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. IF YOU HAVE A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT IN ID ADVICE YOU TAKE IT OUT SLOWLY. AS IF THEY THINK YOUR PULLING OUT THEY MAY NOT LIKE IT.

They blocked my card for more then half year and is still blocked in this moment and nobody cares so take 1 star Revolut, to bad I can't give you 0 star!

Do not use revolut, i will open as many email addresses and write reviews everywhere and encourage the same with other people. Blocked me off 3 twitter accounts? Childish move, no worries you won't be able to keep my quiet, already spoken to Financial Ombudsman they are suprised as well locked for 6 weeks overdue bills etc. Revolut i will not stop until you sort my account.

I will never rely on Revolut again I was an avid user of Revolut and would always tell others to use it until I was left without access to my money in a foreign country. I was unable to get into the app and therefore unable to speak to ANYONE. The only way to get in contact is via the in app chat and if this doesnt work, you will be without your money. I unfortunately was relying on my Revolut card when travelling around the Philippines and when it stopped working and kicked me out of the app I had no money and had to get money from other travellers and wire transfers (bare in mind this was at the start of the pandemic so was very difficult) to be able to get a flight home (which made trying to leave the country 100 times more stressful than it already was). Safe to say, always have two backups and dont rely on banks that only have an app. Two months after getting home they finally let me into the app and I transferred all my money out.

Dont open an account with them, they will block you at one point and wont be able to access money for weeks
