I have just been sent renewal docs today so have not, repeat not, renewed yet. So to be asked to give a review of something that has not happened is plainly absurd and only likely to make me consider taking my business elsewhere.

2 yaears ago I was withRias and when it came to renewal the premium was increased so I went to Aviva who were more competative now I have come back because the quote was more competative and you lost a years business for the want of giving me a competative renewal quote

I have three insurances with Saga, backed by Rias. past experience has been more than satisfactory. I had to make a claim just over a year ago, due to storm damage to a flat roof. The assessor who visited me was first rate,he was very busy due to the gale's and storms around November last year. He still made every effort to assist me, my 96 year old father being the occupier of the house. The girls dealing with my claim were based in Bristol, i must have spoken to three of them while my claim was processed. GREAT PERSONAL SERVICE. So when my wife asked me to renew her house insurance recently, it was an easy decision to switch our insurer. we got better cover and saved nearly a hundred pounds. Great, many thanks.Mr C B Ward.

When taking out insurance with Rias I asked for the relevant paperwork to be sent by post (I was given this option) but so far this has not been received! So no review possible at the moment!

I paid for a years building and contents insurance, only to receive a demand for an extra £85. stating I had not disclosed a claim I made via RIAS 2 1/2 years ago. I disputed this and asked why the policy clearly showed 9 years no claims on building and only 2 years no claim on content. (which to my mind proves they knew about the claim, otherwise I would have received 9 years no claim on contents as well) Rias still insisted they knew nothing about the claim. As this all happened just before Christmas and I didn't want the Policy cancelled I paid it, wrote to Aegis who the policy is with, and to date have received no response what so ever. I doubt I will ever use RIAS again.

Went on line fora quote found Rhias was the cheapest for car insurance went through all the information very quick but decided to phone the office as i wanted to speak to a member of staff got through straight away they had all my details and i agreed to take out the insurance staff was very helpfull was very pleased with the service i have also got house insurance and will be getting in touch when the time arises highly recommend,

Very pleased with service and value. I have used RIAS many times in the past but found the last few years or so to be outpriced on quotes. If this is a sample of future business then I will be back.

I found your operator a little pushy, perhaps because he was not aware that at over 80 years old I am not as nimble minded as I once was. Iwas also told that after I had agreed to accept the insurance he said he was transferring me to a further information message. After a long wait nothing happened so I rang off. He also made no mention that arrangement would be by e-mail which I do not want. I e-mailed you and this has now been sorted out and I am awaiting the paper work which will take several days to arrive not leaving me much time to change my mind should I wish to.

Too early to form an opinion. I did ask for the policy to be mailed to me but to date it has not arrived !
