I’ve currently paid over £1200 for a bbq and received nothing!!!! Extremely poor service, couriers they use lie! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Still waiting on my refund. Ordered the wrong one. Rang customer service the employee said they'd swap it no problem. Ring up a week later next employee says we dont do refund exchange you have to order another and we will refund you the original purchase. Fair enough , but why not tell me that when I originally rang up??!! But I'm still waiting on my refund over a week later. But this review may get someone to get a move on. I will probably one day want a traeger grill.

Alexander Rose parasol I received looked nothing like the picture on the website. Although I don’t have an issue with the product, when I tried to point out the inaccuracies in case they were unaware and mentioned the Trades Description Act I was accused of making threats and made to feel like a nuisance. I have since found out they know the pictures aren’t accurate. Interesting to read the other comments on customer service.

Ordered the wrong item in error. Informed Riverside of this before item was dispatched and was told that it was on a pallet and it would just have to be returned at my expense! So an item they knew would be returned and was still at their location travelled to N.Ireland only to be returned at my expense! They also issued instructions on how to return it which were incorrect. Customer service is shocking!

I ordered two sheets of wonder wall for around £140 which was a lot of money but I really liked the look of them and the description stressed the high quality. I particularly liked the red hibiscus flowers. When they arrived they were squashed together in a ridiculously small box and bits were falling off everywhere and had accumulated in the box. As I lifted them out more and more leaves and flowers fell off. I emailed straightaway and was offered £30 discount which I refused as £110 was still way too much to pay for something so damaged. I was then told I could return them. When I said I thought it was unfair that I should pay to return Faulty goods a courier was arranged. At no stage did anyone offer to look at how things were packaged or acknowledge the feedback to indicate they would change it in future. If someone had offered to resend the items in the right size box with a discount for the inconvenience I would probably have given it a try. I just wanted to give you the feedback as overall I was very unimpressed and wouldn’t buy from you again or recommend you to anyone. Having said that I wouldn’t post a negative review online or anything. Thank you.

Still waiting on a resolution. Firstly wrong lid was with package. I understand mistakes can happen and this was replaced in a week, which was great. I worry now that more parts must be the wrong parts as the whole bbq is now left so unstable and wobbly. Certainly not the feel of a premium product like what I thought I was purchasing. I had emailed Weber direct, although no reply. Not sure if anything Riverside can do to help but I would appreciate any help available.

The business appears to be very interested in our money but not at all interested in sorting out problems - we ordered 2 chairs totalling £450 - one arrived broken and two week later still no resolution and staff very unhelpful verging on dismissive - apparently we are going to receive spare parts and have to repair ourselves. If I had wanted a flat pack chair I would have gone to IKEA and spent 20% of the price. We will not use Riverside again.

Have always only ever bought & recommended Riverside for BBQ needs. Never bought anywhere else. Sadly last order went terribly wrong & customer service at Riverside was worse than poor. I recognise it’s difficult times but I don’t expect to be spoken too as I was or my calls ignored. If my future purchases aren’t required I’ll do what I am doing, going elsewhere. Product was perfect but then that’s Webbers achievement not Riverside.

We purchased our Weber Spirit from you on 27/04/2020. On using it for the first time there was a obviously a problem so we called you for advice and left a message on the same number as I had left a message on when originally enquiringly about purchasing. I am still awaiting your response to that message, which was left over a week ago, and whilst I accept these are unusual times, if you can manage to get back to sales calls within 24 hours, why can you not respond to after sales calls as quickly? I have an expensive gas barbecue which was a birthday present from my wife which I am unable to use. Please call me as a matter of urgency, within the next 48 hours, on 07801916000. If I do not hear from you by then I will unfortunately be forced to invoke my rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2015 and reject the goods as faulty and demand a full refund and collection of the goods at your expense. I’ve only received one of the two items I ordered and I’m still waiting for a response to my email. The communication is very poor and definitely would not recommend this company.
