Disappointed with dispatch and time of delivery

Service was great from Riverside. But the item arrived in a damaged box. Which considering its a Christmas present was pretty disappointing. Unsure whether it was the delivery company or Riverside. The delivery company DPD haven't replied to my message, so who knows.

Just had a set of wooden Webber wok spoons delivered, looks like they were stored in the dirtiest place available. Covered in Dark dust, the spoons required a thorough clean before thinkin of being useful. the packaging went straight in the bin had to clean the dirt of my kitchen unit also after removing from packaging.

The item was as expected. Delivery was not within the time slot provided. It arrived nearly three hours after the ‘latest’ delivery time. When it arrived it was not in any packaging. It was a gift for someone I live with and he saw it when it was delivered. His Christmas surprise is ruined now! It’s a shame there weren’t any gift options to conceal the content of the parcel.

i am a bit disappointed with the artificial split philo it had two leaves broken off it and some of the other leaves were a bit creased up apart from that it looks realistic

The parasol is excellent. It seems secure even in the breeze. The operation is smooth but we did have to resort to Youtube for a lesson on how to erect it. The biggest problem was that Dobbies from whom we purchased it did not tell us immediately that they do not do deliveries . How are customers supposed to manage the delivery of parasol and weight?

I ordered 3 x mini b beanbags. The order and delivery went smoothly and the product was excellent in quality however I did want to return them for the adult size as I felt they weren’t big enough for my children. It turned out it was going to cost me £18 per beanbag to return which I felt was far too expensive so I had to keep them. I would have expected the company to have gave some kind of discount on the return considering I was looking to swap them for 3 x beanbags that we’re almost double in price as the mini beanbags.

The bbq is great, but the delivery was terrible. TNT are a terrible courier! We expected the bbq to be delivered on the Friday, it did not arrive, called them Saturday and received a rediculas explanation about the driver having driven to long that day and had to stop. He stopped at 3:35 pm 20 minutes away from where we live. They advised that they would guarantee delivery Monday morning, guess what it didn't arrive, called them again and they explained that the person we spoke to on Saturday should have given us a complaint number that could be tracked, also they made no online notes to have the bbq delivered Monday. At this point we reached frustration and told them we had had enough, we had now waiting in for a day and a half and still no bbq, so to cancel the delivery and return it to Riverside. This finally got their attention and the bbq was delivered an hour later. Would not order anything else from Riverside if the delivery company was TNT.

hello, website was fine, ordering was fine for my bbq. no issues with that. however the delivery driver rolled my 75 kgr bbq in the box end over end down the road and then was very pushy when he asked my wife to sign a declaration saying the product was in good order when she hadn't opened the box and again it was rolled / banged down the road. I wouldn't say that is the right way to deliver someons £700+ BBQ

Could be top 5 star if it wasn't for the courier company DPD they use. Wouldn't revise the address even with 24hrs notice. Had to cancel and reorder then they delivered to wrong address and sent me a photo of someone else's house. They recovered the barbeque thankfully no apology think they thought it was my fault for positioning my house incorrectly!

BBQ ordered online and delivered as promised Charge of £100 on top of delivery OTT Ordered an incorrect gas canister delivered at the same time Pity this wasn’t picked up at order or delivery

Bought a Webber go anywhere. It was dented. Riverside went to Webber and got a replacement. Riverside could have sent me a replacement. After all I bought it form them. But 6 days later I finally got a as new BBQ.

Great customer service and prompt delivery, well packaged. However really disappointed with the Alexander Rose Teak Parasol - we have bought these for several years and they have always been lovely, they have changed the spec and the wood now looks like plastic and the fittings look cheap. The fabric on the parasol looks like nylon as opposed to the lovely canvas they used to use. I will not be buying Alexander Rose products again as they seem to be really failing in their quality. A great shame .....

Just pleased I could get the cover.now order two table leaves for my swing.Service!!not really very good.tok over a week trying to get the sakes girls to understand what I wanted,managed to order the table leaves .but the girl did not know when I would get them!! Paid over the phone.but would have expected a much faster response.anyway to date still not received my order,should have been able to get it within 24 hours.should improve your delivery service to customers

The delivery was a disaster. I elected to collect and was very disappointed to join a lengthy queue for a part delivery. What a waste of time. Unannounced, the other part was delivered to my address the following day
