Having looked at the most recent reviews posted there seems to be a theme developing Refunds not being processed quickly enough I too am still waiting on a refund M

They have owed me a £30 gift card for over a month and I still haven't received it. I also returned items 10 days ago value over £200 and still haven't been refunded after many emails. Something fishy going on if you ask me.

KB Absolutely disgusted that I had an item returned via Royal Mail which Roman received on the 28th April, and they have admitted to receiving it, and yet they are expecting me to wait 21 working days for a refund! I have sent two e-mails asking for an explanation but you never get one, just ask for your patience!! Well mine is wearing thin at the moment!! I have bought from Roman for a few years now and personally never experience this before so I am beginning to wonder if they have a problem! It is very concerning!!

I’m having exactly the same issue as the lady below. I returned a jacket on 25th April & haven’t heard a thing. I have bought lots of things over the years but very won’t buy anything else. It’s a disgrace to treat customers this way.

I have been a customer of Roman for quite a few years. They have always offered consistently good service and clothing. However, lately, the Customer Service has really dropped to below standard! I have an account which shows my orders but for some reason, my last order on 26th April 2022 is not showing and this is the order I am having an issue with. I ordered 4 items total amount of £105.60 was charged to my C/Card.(they qualified for next day delivery and they did indeed arrive the next day on 27th April). I kept 3 items and returned 1 item the very same day and I have a P.Office receipt. I would have expected my refund by now but no....nothing, not even an acknowledgement of my return. The amount after the £3 charge should be £37. I tried ringing but for the last 3 days the Customer Service phones are suffering a network outage ?????? Really? 3 days, I find this completely unacceptable. However, I emailed the issue as suggested and I'm still waiting. I explained I don't have the 'Order #' as I put the delivery note in with the return. I looked for it on my account but as already mentioned, this particular order which is my last order is just not showing??? Why??? I've had one response to my email so far.....asking me for the order number 🙃 which I've already explained I DON'T HAVE. I did however give full details of the order items, the date, the amount charged etc...surely your people can find the order number. Its not my fault that its not showing on my account. Would somebody please do their job, find out what's gone wrong and refund my £37. Come on Roman, this is well below an acceptable Customer Service level. 😡

Don't buy from this company. They seem to be having huge cash flow problems as returns are ignored. No phone lines available and time wasting questions asked on email. No refund. Beware.

Although clothes look lovely on pictures when they come they are Not at all like the pictures , and when returning them you have to wait 21 days for a refund and then they deduct postage ! My advice if you want to try anything go to a shop

I wish i had read the reviews before i ordered still waiting for my dress been weeks since i ordered . My order was sent out fairly quick but i want to change it for the smaller size .it has been a couple of weeks and still no sign .never again .i wanted for my holiday i think i might have to cancel my order and try and get my money back if it doesnt come soon

Too long to wait for Refunds and an exchange on the dress. Up to 21 days is not acceptable. Not guaranteed tje dress will be in stock in 3 weeks and may be too late for its purpose anyway

I’ve seen loads of reviews about returns I’m in the same boat as they are I returned two items one of them is the 15 th of April .. It took them ages to respond to me what’s going on at Roman ? I’ve shopped with them for years and spent a fortune over the years .. I’ve not got my money back for two items 60 Pounds in total .. yet after countless emails and you Cant ring up they say the phone lines are down.. sorry but I don’t believe it they simply don’t want complaints .. I won’t be buying anymore from Roman online I’ll try them on i the shop only but not as much choice .. very disappointed customer 😟

I ordered 2 dresses from Roman and was impressed that they were delivered the next day. Then everything went down hill the dresses was nice but a little small so I returned them on 26/04/22 and asked for an exchange. I contacted the company to see if they had received the dresses and when the new ones will be sent out. They replied on 03/05/22 to say there is a delay in sending out replacements? I have since sent 6 emails and have not received a response. My son is due to get married in a few weeks and ordered the dresses for this occasion. I am now in limbo as I cannot afford money wise and time wise to wait any longer.

Terrible customer service. I returned goods to them on 22nd April and have proof of delivery via Royal Mail tracking service. No refund received. I have emailed them but they do not respond. There is no contact telephone number for them. Will never order from them again.

Takes too long for refunds from online purchases to come through. If you buy in-store no refund will be given, just an exchange or credit note.

Received this reply from Roman Originals, while there was no delay in taking my money, I have had to chase up acknowledgment of return and my refund- Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email. Your parcel was received back in the warehouse on the 06/05/2022. Please note returns can take up to 21 working days to be processed due to unforeseen circumstances. Once we have processed your return we will notify you via email. Please bare with us we are try to work as fast as we can to process your return. Kind Regards, Roman Customer Services This was cut&pasted so spelling mistake and unprofessional layout etc are sic. Notice not even an apology! I am also unable to unsubscribe from the bombardment of marketing emails from them, I complained that the unsubscribe link does not work! But they ignored that part of my complaint.

They are so bad I didn’t receive my parcel they said it was delivered, now they have blocked my e-mail address so unprofessional, terrible company, I’ve spent a lot with them never again

Never answer emails regarding refunds, far too long in actually getting your money back. Been a customer for many, many years but now we have definitely parted company. I will never shop wit them again. I’m contacting my bank also as I’m just fed up of getting nowhere with Romans

Very concerned that as of today 6th May 2022 it has now been 3 days since due to a "technical" fault no returns can be processed. I was told by the manageress that this is going to be the case until at least Friday 13th May 2022. Very concerning. How is it they can still take customer's cash but not process exchanges? The only information to new customers is a note pinned to the till saying "Unfortunately no returns can be dealt with today due to technical issues". Buyers beware!!

I’ve been trying to get a refund from Roman originals keep on sending emails asking for same details reference number postage date I have proof of postage needless to say I won’t be shopping at this store anymore!!!!!! I’m still waiting for refund two weeks later

Ordered a crossover dress first order I have not shopped with them before it was a size 16, but more like a 12, it was Red.I am a 16 in marks and monsoon, so I know it should have fitted. I am being charged postage to return something that should of fitted, hope I get my money back, watch this space.
