Bought window blinds in reddeer that would not fit, tried to return at the Rona location in Leduc. They would not return them because they were not bought there. We spent hundreds of dollars at Rona renovating two homes, we drove all the way to reddeer from leduc returned the blinds, drove across the street to HOME DEPOT bought exactly what we needed and left. It's important to know ANY time I've needed to return an item to HOME DEPOT, WALMART, SHOPPERS DRUG MART the LOCATION that I purchased it from has never mattered. Corporations are a CHAIN STORE...not independent...policy like this for RONA will be their demise. Reddeer RONA and HOME DEPOT are basically across the street from each other and I can tell you HOME DEPOT has the business and is always busy. So my future spending will be with home depot and my first option from here on out. Customer SERVICE is of utmost importance in a world where competition is everywhere, I guess this is why HOME DEPOT has a full parking lot every single day and RONA does not.

Moen kitchen faucet - thin, weak water flow - like a bathroom water-saver! Takes me twice as long in the kitchen to do anything. I hate it. The man "helping" me at Rona was no help at all.

I had Rona Ottawa install windows - the installers were amazing ! I had a previous contractor measure incorrectly. Rona took back the patio door at no extra charge. The man that coordinated everything was brilliant ! I am going back today to order flooring I could save some money at Costco but I would not get the coordination of care from the home Reno dept and because of this I save using Rona Hunt Club Road

Ordered online some smart door sensors a week ago Jan 11,2024 on the RONA website . Everything went real smooth specially when they charged to my CC. Order placed, confirmation, CC charged now just wait for the items to arrive. To be fair the package arrive a day earlier that expected but that was it!!. The items came wrong no what was ordered. One item box was a open box or a previous return, seal broken , cardboard box all smushed the other one covered in dust like it was in the shelves for months just collecting dirt. Contacted RONA customer service and the typical premade message. advising to reach the closest store and return the items. No acknowledgement of their mistake, zero attempt to correct the issue providing a replacement or an alternative. Just return the items , wait for your refund and I guess if I need the items again , redo the whole online shopping. I replied by email waiting for their response but RONA's sub par customer service never try to do the right thing and look after their customer base. They poor response just aggravated my experience with them. They lost me as a customer, glad still other options out there who truly cares about their customer. Now that LOWES is part of RONA expect more of the same with them.

Everything went wrong. Do not shop online at RONA--They mislead the customer believing you are ordering from RONA when it is a 3rd Party supplier who sends the wrong product and you don't accept it. Been attempting to get a refund for 3 days through Online Chat and Customer Service. They are a fraudulent company and should be reported. I wouldn't even rate them at a 1/5. If there was a way to rate negative I would.

January 18/24 I went in to this store by recommendation. I was wanting a blind for a window The lady at paint desk made me feel like I was wasting her time I know nothing about blinds and needed her help. She was blunt and I felt I was wasting her time. I will not recommend this store in Prince Albert 👎 The lady didn’t have a name tag. She had long greyish hair and glasses.

Order process was smooth. Price reasonable. And delivery quick. HOWEVER, I did not receive what I ordered and was not informed that the order was incomplete. I ordered two of the same item. I opened the parcel a few days after it arrived (I was busy) and only one of the two identical items arrived. I received no email about this at all and no reimbursement to my credit card until I spent over 25 minutes on the phone with customer service sorting it out. Lovely person helping me but honestly, it should not be on me to correct this situation. I should have been notified and asked if I wanted to continue with the order seeing as my order was incomplete.

I purchased a bunch of appliances under the Lowes company and also a warranty plan. Twice my fridge broke down. Both times on a Friday Afternoon. Comerco who takes care of the warranty could not do anything till Monday. I had a fridge full of food. the first time I managed to find a repair person that works with Comerco. The second time it went down. I called around for someone to come right away. It was a very busy time and only one could come. I was told by Comerco if I didn't go through their specific repair people they wouldn't cover me. They paid only the replacement part fee. I'll never buy another thing through this company again and especially not a warranty,

I have HAD IT with RONA, the WORST customer service call center. You tell them specifically what the issue is and it is like they DON'T LISTEN. 24 hours I tried to find out the delivery issue with DAY & ROSS, they TOO are a waste of time, and NOTHING!!! They keep saying follow the tracking, "WHICH SHOWED IT DELIVERED BUT IT HASN'T BEEN" WTF, , BRAIN DEAD companies. ABSOLURTLY BRAIN DEAD and sorry to say they are in QUEBEC and there is a bit of a language barrier here in CANADA, who would of thought. It was like calling foreign third world companies!!!! Then after the 24 hours of searching the Klutz wanted me to wait of the line while he contacts other departments to find out where it is!! WTF!! I said NO, you do that have them call me when your TEAM finds it. He said it would be best If I waited on line with him. NO, absolutely NO, I have spent the last 24 hours looking or it so what in gods name makes them think I am going to sit on hold for an eternity while they look for it. RUN people RUN from both of these companies. After a bit of searching I see they both have 1 star reviews. I I WONDER WHY!!!!!!

I am furious. I spent half an hour trying to reach out to the Burnaby Rona store. I called every single possible llne mentioned including the Manager, Asst Manager, Operator (not listed), electrical, plumbing, paint, seasonal, contractors, install, appliances etc. No one answered even the manager or asm or operator. It is wonderful that Rona can turn down business so easily. If you don't want business, are too busy or making too much money you should say so rather than waste my time. Really disappointing you can't answer a phone - none of the departments.

The website is not accurate. I made a trip to my local rona to buy items that the website says are in stock and found the shelf empty. Rona, an inaccurate page is worse than none at all. I'm done with rona.

Inconsistencies --my mother bought a nice Xmas decoration and sent it early to me and my 4 other siblings. She bought them online and sent them. Every other sibling got the batteries included with their gift except me. My mother was so embarrassed as she was assured that none of her kids would have to go out and spend 15-20$ on batteries as they would, of course, be included as a complimentary gift considering she dropped over 250$ on 5 separate gifts. And the funny thing is, I am the broke child. All of my other siblings are doing well. So, thanks Rona Victoria staff.....you truly embodied the spirit of a Xmas character..... .SCROOGE. Are you guys really that hard up you can't throw in some batteries? Please re-think your approach to customer service. You all surely need it! And remember, we are all having a hard time with inflation and rising costs....not just you. Really should be quite ashamed if that was the reason they weren't included.

Vancouver Rona Grandview location closing due to poor sales I visited Grandview Rona the afternoon of Dec. 7, 2023 to buy metric bolts for mounting my TV. As another reviewer mentioned, very few staff are working at this location, and so I felt lucky after finding the fasteners section by myself within 5 minutes of entering the store. Then came a bigger challenge: finding the right size metric bolts within that section. After about 10 minutes of searching, I found some which fit my TV, but they didn't have heads I could tighten with my screwdriver. I wanted to ask someone familiar with that section if there were other metric fasteners I hadn't noticed, but I didn't see anyone in the department, so I asked a (rare) passing worker if they could help me. They tried their best, but we didn't find any metric bold I hadn't already seen. I asked them if this store is always short-staffed, and they said yes, and that, like Lowe's/Rona in Queensborough, Grandview Rona would also be permanently closing due to poor sales. I said that I also shop at Home Depot in Vancouver and Burnaby, and that they appear to be doing well based on their stores being at least partially full of customers. They replied Home Depot is more successful at keeping customers because they employ enough people to help customers, unlike Rona/ Lowe's. They added, "Home Depots pays their staff better, and does not continually reduce employee hours, forcing experienced workers to quit and be replaced by new, often inexperienced ones unable to help customers find what they need."

I was at Rona Plus at North west of London, Ontario today. A very nice and knowledgable gentleman whose name was Matt helped me a lot. He was very humble, kind and polite. Matt found what I need exactly, and brought all the cements for me, and after I purchased them, he put them at the back of my car too. I wish him all the best and I congratulate Rona Plus for hiring wonderful people like Matt.
