Having read the reviews I decided to purchase our first bed for my 4 year old daughter. I had a great service from explanation to delivery. However I am not happy with the actual product itself. We put the solitaire cabin bed together as instructed ( although the bed came into two boxes it was not made clear that We would need to open both and read the instructions from box 2. I was told to open box 1 and build that first which was just the bed. But then had to take it apart due to needing to fit a piece from box 2!). The bed itself is beautiful and well made however I am not happy as it rocks and I do not think it will stand the test of time. I contacted customer services who Gain were great but we're not able to assist any further but send someone out to look at the bed for which there is a charge of £100.

Please be assured that the manufacturer has sold thousands of this particular model all across Europe and has received excellent reviews.  If assembled correctly it meets all European/UK safety testing requirements. As previously advised, please tighten the cams on the ladder as this will strengthen the framework.  As you have detailed, we have offered you a service call to assess your furniture and we will arrange this for you should you give us the go ahead.  Best Wishes, RTG.

Ordered a chair with the bed. This was delivered on a different day. Meant 2 days waiting in which was not convenient. However very pleased with comms and product

The product is fantastic and they were good about keeping us updated re delivery dates. The only issue was the fact that the bed is given to a delivery person who decides when he is next in your area and ours was very vocal about his irritation at having to get through south east London traffic and had to be persuaded to deliver it when I asked!

My son loves this bed especially with the camp underneath. Good sturdy bed and looks good too. Needs two people to put together as a bit awkward for one.

Ordered a child's bed. Had to keep phoning them to chase delivery which was significantly over the estimated delivery date when the bed was ordered. I will no. Use this company in future neithe. would I recommend them

As detailed on your order confirmation email we estimate 10-15 working days (subject to postcode) for delivery only - rarely do they exceed this timescale.  We also confirmed that booking in will be approximately 1 week prior to delivery which we understand was the case. This bed is ideal for our four year old. The service was great, the bed was delivered within the set timeframe. The only downside was having 24 hrs notice and not having a choice on the schedule however the drop off was exemplary especially as they came from Nottingham.

I ordered and paid for my 6 year olds bed on 27.05.16. Despite taking the money, (over £1,000) this company has still not delivered the bed. They refuse to deliver unless they are coming to the area that we live in for a large enough number of other deliveries to make it economically worthwhile for them. I work and the days that the company have told me they can deliver have not been workable. They are totally inflexible and the Customer Service is dire. They still have my money but I am still waiting for the bed some 6 weeks later. My child is currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor until it arrives.

It was very easy to order the bed from Room to Grow however other than ordering and paying for it through their website I had no other contact from them. The bed was delivered by another company called Jade Logistics and my experience of dealing with them was extremely poor. The first delivery date I was offered was no longer available when I called back to confirm it - the reason given was that it was a 2 person job and 2 people were no longer available on that date. The second date I was given was given to me in error by the administrator so I was passed to a more senior member of the team to rectify the problem. The third date I was given was while I was on holiday so I made arrangements for a family member to be at my house to receive the delivery. I was promised the first delivery slot (around 7.30am) and my family member's contact number was given as their main contact while I was away. On the day of the delivery I received 2 phone calls while I was abroad from the driver. He wasn't aware that my delivery was promised for 7.30am and that he was supposed to be liaising with my family member. He eventually arrived at around 11.30am on his own! All along I had been told it was a 2 person job. It took him a couple of hours to put up the bunk beds and he has done a fantastic job. The delivery receipt I received from Jade Logistics confirmed that my delivery had been made at 7.30am (incorrect) and had my family member's contact details clearly showing (the driver was not aware of this). No one from Jade Logistics has contacted me to acknowledge their mistakes and I has been left feeling disgusted at my treatment. I spent £986 on this bed and did not receive a service that in any way equates to this.
