I posted a card to my daughter 14 3 23 with first class stamp ....still hasnt arrived 20th ......the service has become completely unreliable even in this basic service........complete joke !!

Today I received a message from Royal Mail to say they attempted to collect my parcel but 'there didn't seem to be anyone in when we called'. Except there was someone in. I have been waiting, with the door open, all day and no one came to collect the parcel. Why say that you attempted to collect when you clearly did not? This is not a unique experience, in fact it has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME a company has chosen to use Royal Mail to deliver my parcels. On each occasion, no one attempted to knock on my door for me to receive my parcel. Instead, a card was left in my mail box. Was it really too much effort to walk a few feet to knock on my door so that I can be handed my parcels in person?

Eastbourne. New postman never brings or collects an item . Always ring the door and asking to go outside to entrance. Just because he is lazy !!! I always go to pick up my parcel but it’s his JOB! Disappointed

Parcel is still at a depot ,been there for 4 days now and not moved . Had an email to say will be delivered on Wednesday That was changed about 1pm to say in transit ,phoned today and was told tgey have thousands of parcels to deliver And 24 hr and 48 hr can be delivered any time and not in the time frame??? Of 24 hr/ 48 hr Always thought if you wanted it next day that would be in 24 hrs But not with royal FAIL disgusting service

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - The name of the service gives a customer implicit expectations that a parcel will be delivered within 48 hours and that it is trackable. Burrowing deeper into their website, this service 'aims to deliver' within two-three days and it is tracked.... The tracking is intermittent and their timing is way off. The Trading Standards Watchdog needs to look into this. Customers are being mislead. Royal Mail are making claims that their service is achieving a promised standard that they are failing to meet.

Delivery was planned and then at end of day one had a message to say deliver attempted - Address is inaccessible. Following day received email to say parcel due to be delivered between 8.14 - 12.14 later that afternoon tracking states incorrectly addressed, return to sender! On both days we had mail delivered by Royal Mail. What a joke. Apparently our address was not fully visible on the package - it took two days to work this out. No hope!

Royal Mail should be stripped of their royal status. Since they have been privatised the service has gone down hill. I have an item that posted on the 6th and still today the 10th is sat at their sorting office. They claim they have had a message telling them not to deliver it the address. I have had this happen before and spoke to a post person and they have informed me that is a tactic to get them off the hook when they are behind with deliveries. Try and follow this up and you meet an electronic brick wall. Strip it of its Royal warranty. It does not justify it nor deserve it.

The Royal Mail are useless. I have rang about 15 times in the past 2 months to try and get my money back that the Royal Mail have robbed from me due to a "lost" parcel. Someone explain to me why it takes over 4 weeks for one of the Royal Mail branches to coordinate with each other and get the tiniest bit of information as this is holding up my claim and not give me my money back that I am blatantly entitled to. Even on one of the occasions, the advisor was eating his lunch down the phone which you could blatantly hear then when confronted about it he put the phone down HA, professional. Also, explain to me why the Royal Mail have the right to tell me I have 10 days to get back to themselves with more information about my claim when I gave ALL relevant info, and if I didn't respond you would then close the case and not refund me HA?! Anyway, I did get back to them then 7 weeks down the line I'm still waiting for dumb and dumber to make a phone call/communicate with each other. But, I get given 10 days to respond and the RM can't pull their finger out and resolve my issue within 2 months? Absolutely useless. This whole situation is affecting my eBay business online and causing me stress mentally and I'm now £500 down despite using one of the most expensive postage services. It's a joke now, I want my money and I will never be using the services again.

Useless incompetent lazy liars. I sent a letter to mainland Europe using the international tracked and signed service on 22nd Feb, which was supposed to be delivered “within 3-5 working days”. The letter has been stuck at PCS Milton Keynes since 23rd Feb. WHY?! Why has it not moved through the system? Called their customer (dis)service department but it’s all automated and there’s no way to speak to a human. What a joke! Stay away and use other couriers. I will in the future!

Royal Mail lost the parcel I was returning and I cannot claim compensation because it was a pair of secateurs, and so a bladed item and restricted! What a scam! I assumed Royal Mail had a business where they delivered things all the time, not just occasionally.

Been using Royal Mail for years! Last 2 months it’s a nightmare! So many lost parcels! Website down!!! Can’t even track if the parcels were delivered or not! This is being done on purpose! They want to kill small business!

Rubbish. Massively delayed post so my customers have demanded refunds or replacements. Then theoriginal parcel turns up weeks later! Royal Mail refuse to.compensate me as theyve "delivered it". C&#*!s Not fit for purpose should be disbanded.

The worst service I have ever known! They softly knock on the door and immediately leave .... I do not have time to go down from the 3rd floor in a second! Do I have to follow the car?! This happens every time! I do Redelivery and again the same thing happens! Worst and nastiest service ever! I hate!

Package has been sitting in milton keyes for a month. Was due in melbourne aus 3 weeks ago. Shipping costs were expensive. Im infuriated at how bad royal mail is and how expensive it is

What a rubbish company. I sale on a market place and sales many items within UK and internationally. Almost all the items send in December and January still not deliver and tracking is saying random things like sender is preparing item after a month of dispatch. They are keeping package in Milton Keynes sorting hub for more than a month. Even especial delivery within Uk had delivered after a month. And I can’t even file the claim as I don’t get the proof of postage from post office as we post many items at once and to get proof of postage for all take long time. It is really horrible experience. We lost a lot of money. And also reputation as a seller. Buyer leaving bad reviews and opening cases as they didn’t get theirs parcels. And we can’t do nothing about it. 😡😡😡 I want this company to close down!!!

The RM has a new way of delivering parcels. Today my parcel was tossed over my 6’ side gate, but the good news is that I had to take some trash out and spotted it lying on the ground. One star is way too much for such a disgustingly bad service and total disregard for my property.
