Out of three tracked deliveries over the past week or so two have not arrived on the designated day and the third was a couple of hour late. I am tired of waiting indoors for most of the day to receive a parcel that doesn’t arrive. Royal Mail notify you that they are going to deliver within a certain, rather long, time window on a specific day but they don’t. I know that COVID will be the excuse but out of the very many parcels I have ordered from Amazon not a single one has arrived late. Royal Mail are a joke and not fit for purpose. I suggest that everyone who experiences this appalling service writes to the shipper of the parcel and and alerts them to the fact that they are paying for a service that Royal Mail are not attempting to provide. Let’s encourage suppliers to work with more reliable shippers.

Some advice to Royal Mail. 1. do not send a text giving a delivery slot that you cannot manage to fulfil. 2. Do not follow up that initial text with silence as to the whereabouts of the parcel, and useless tracking that is not updated. 3. Stop loosing my parcels. 4. And stop delivering neighbours post to my house that I then have to go deliver my self.....aaargh!

Very disappointed and upset with the Royal Mail. Sent a parcel through their track and trace (1st class signed for) that contained a commissioned drawing to a relative in Scotland. Can you believe they delivered it to someone and somewhere in Bradford South. Bradford South??!!!!! How??? Someone signed for it in Bradford. How?? How did the postman not notice the address quite clearly shown on the parcel said AIRDRIE, SCOTLAND etc. NOT Bradford. How can they get that SO wrong??? I am flabbergasted and extremely annoyed. A drawing that cannot be replaced. How will I trust Royal Mail ever again. So upset.

0 customer service, no way to contact anyone or add any delivery notes. No option on phone to speak to a human. They keep telling me they've attempted to deliver it and they absolutely haven't. I'm sat by the front door. All I want to do is give them my mobile number to call me when they're here and there's no way to do so. Just as bad as hermes.

I ordered in a very popular Chinese market place, and they sent on time and properly to the right address, arrive in UK and Royal Mail sent to the wrong depot one hour by road from my home, and marked as a delivered, 1 minute after they registered as a arrived at the depot when I called and after waiting 1 hour on hold to be able to speak with someone, I have been told because They sent to the wrong depot, they can not forward to my home, one hour by road, and instead they will return to the sender (IN CHINA) and only the sender can make a claim, so someone in CHINA needs to claim to Royal Mail, but when I claimed to the seller, the seller refused to take any action, because OH SUPRISE, Royal Mail marked as DELIVERED, so that mince they closed all my possibilities to claim to Royal Mail and as well to claim to the seller, so I lost 400£ of the products because Royal Mail never delivered to me but the marked in the system 1 minute after they recieved at the depot as a Delivered and because only the sender can claim I can not claim to Royal Mail.

To whoever will be able to help, Hello I’m still waiting on the redelivery, I have been wanting to file a complaint initially because the website was not really helpful when I tried to file a complaint it would not even direct me there, and I would have contacted via telephone but I am in no financial means to be charged so I had resorted to email, but apparently your system doesn’t want to accept any emails from me! There are various problems with the site it isn’t updated and doesn’t direct me to where I need to go and I would have appreciated if time slots were an option as I have been staying awake ridiculously early from 6am until each afternoon only to have wasted time, and I was not even left a something for you card, so when I had to choose my redelivery I based it on the customs fee charge slip I was left, I hope you can respond as soon as possible because that is quite a vast sum of money gone to waste (for not having my package) for an unemployed student like me please can you attempt to deliver it during the afternoon, and there were various people who were home during the delivery time and they did not hear the door which may indicate that no one even arrived as there was no evidence such as the red card or they did not wait long enough, I wish there was an option for delivery instructions eg leaving it with a neighbour or placing it at the backdoor to improve the service but I have to say I’m not satisfied with your service, it’s just simply unfair after reading other reviews I see I’m not the only one who has the same issue please stop taking advantage of us folk who are already having a hard time because of this it’s not like we can even contact you directly why can’t you change your telephone number rarely any customer services are charging people I think you should learn from them if you’re not going to deliver our parcels at a least let us be able to complain. And you should also consider retraining your staff as they either become invisible at the door and don’t bother to make their presence known. Oh and I also have a question as to why the packages weren’t sent on the same day when I had ordered them at the same time? It would have avoided all this since I only received half of my package, Please please please can you redeliver soon I don’t want to go through the hassle of contacting the sender when it is not my fault to begin with I’d be very grateful if you take my complaint into consideration and please just sort it out as I am stressing out, Thank you.

Taking 7-10 days for first class parcels to arrive to my buyers which is costing me a fortune in having to refund them. Will be using other courier services in the future and please stop leaving red cards when not in during the pandemic, unlike other couriers who leave in a safe place. One star!

Royal Mail tracking is useless. Why send someone a text saying that a parcel will be delivered before 7:30 pm when tracking says it’s 200 miles away. Needless to say it didn’t arrive. PATHETIC

Didn't deliver the item and it's not the first time. I would say 1 out of 4 products I've ordered online have not been delivered by Royal Mail. Are they trying to run a business? Perhaps they send every 4th item to the Queen?

Royal Mail you are terrible.   a) You don't leave the package with a neighbour like every other company I know or hide it under a box in the front garden - why not? b) they then leave a card that doesn't have a reference on it c) if you call to redeliver the phone-line says it is too busy to answer calls and then disconnects you. It directs you to the website d) At the website you can't just order a redelivery it says you have to download the app e) Assuming you've a smart phone (not very inclusive Royal Mail) you download the app f) In my case it told me I need to reset my password but this takes a while to arrive g)you then can book a redelivery but have to reenter your information for every delivery you've missed - OMG how much time so slow h) You can't click the box to specify for it to be left in a safe space or with a neighbour - oh no that would be too efficient and cost effective for everyone i) then you can't book a slot of your choice so it could arrive anytime and the cycle continues.... Really, who is responsible for this terrible terrible service. If you have mobility problems on a low income you'd be totally scuppered. My delivery place is not on a bus route. This is shockingly bad service. I wonder if you could make it any worse. I'd like a response please Royal Mail - who is responsible? My postman is super lovely, the only saving grace.   I'm going to stop buying anything online delivered by Royal Mail as they are so rubbish. This was part of a gift for someone's birthday. Long gone now...

Paid for track and trace on my parcel to Dubai. Information not been updated for past 10 days. Last entry says parcel due to leave UK for destination. Tried to contact Royal Mail by phone and email without success, states email address currently not in use due to amount of emails being received!! Am trying to determine if this lack of updated info on the parcel's journey is normal practice, due to possible backlog as a result of Covid restrictions or if the parcel as been lost in transit! I send a number of parcels over to Dubai via track and trace never had this problem previously. The last one I sent about 3 weeks ago arrived within days and tracking was constantly updated for each part of the journey!!!!

Dire, up early, waited in, no parcel. Tracking option hopeless. Why specify a date and time, which is not met. Why give an expected time and day and then say it might not be either.

I did not hear any indication that the postman was waiting outside, then they banged on the door ferousicaly, scaring my children. I quickly went to the door having no idea whether it was someone trying to break in or not?! I saw no one through the peep hole. I look back a few minutes later and I see a postman crouching down writing a note (presumably to say that he had tried to deliver my marcel but i wasnt in) so i opened the door, and he dramatically ripped up the note, huffing and puffing, and slammed the door on his way out to the staircase. Appalling service.

An absolute mess, "parcel error in delivery" four times as it went back and forth from two delivery offices. 2 day delivery, came 1 week later.

Was saddened today to discover my postwoman had delivered my mail for the last time. She always had time for a quick word and big smile as she hurried quickly through my garden....I will miss her! WF12 7BG
