“Actual laughing stock, parcels going missing, post never coming, stolen products, tracking numbers that show parcels stuck at DC.
Useless customer services, it would be faster to personally deliver it yourself. I hate RM so much I wish we had a more reliable and trustworthy service. If we applied the principals to my career I’d be sacked long ago”
“Royal Mail service has now become all but unusable.
I understand the current staffing issues but when a guaranteed 48 hour service is 4 days and counting and a normal mail package is 2 weeks so far this is unacceptable.
Why promise what you can't deliver?
This is the last straw for me and any seller on ebay using Royal Mail will no longer get my custom”
“Really poor service at the moment, I’ve been selling many items the past few weeks and had to spend over £7.50 to send and still the parcels haven’t got to my customer on time. It’s a shambles, I suggest using couriers like dpd, ups or dhl. They have employed thousands of new drivers to keep up with demand. Royal Mail have only took on the normal rate of staff for a ‘normal’ Christmas year. Not sufficient for this years unprecedented demand.”

“Very bad experience with orders through Marks and Spencer. Royal Mail text advised ‘to be delivered on a Sunday by 19.30. Waited and waited , what a waste of a day.
Two days later, received another text for delivery that day with a time slot.... and it did arrive. What a waste of time the delivery advice is if it can’t be accurate like so many other courier services are.
Will definitely only order with ‘store collection’ in the future to avoid having to wait in all day only to be disappointed.
Tried to review on RM e Mail link only to be told

“First package delivered to the wrong address and left in a cupboard of a disabled lady. Only found by chance by her son.
Second package lost and supplier had not replace via DPD
Third package due today between 9.13 & 13.13 and requiring a signature ( strange given the covid restriction). Waited in but no delivery. Track n Trace still shows it at the Mailing Centre. Not holding my breath on a successful delivery.
I wonder why companies use this service when other can offer better.”
“Needed a pcr test to fly due to COVID restrictions, it was sent via Royal Mail 24 on Monday it now Wednesday!!

“Royal Mail delivered my parcel to the wrong address, they have done this before but this time the item was large and expensive.
The local delivery office is Colwyn Bay and I am waiting for them to respond to my complaint and since they have confirmed that the item was delivered to someone else perhaps they'd like to take the time to find out where and get it back to me.”
“My package has not updated it’s tracking since Friday, it’s says received but now they telling me the sticker might of fallen off 🤣 thief’s. I have to wait 8 working days before they consider it lost, even though it’s a tracked 48 hour delivery and it’s not tracking since they received it and it’s passed 48 hours.... if you can stay clear”
“I have now been waiting for 2 weeks for a 24HR tracked parcel. It has been to several depots and delivery offices around London! I am very worried it will not ever arrive.
Nearly time I order a parcel it is recorded as 'undeliverable' and I have to go to the delivery office to pick it up.
My post is frequently delivered to the wrong address, and I have to go around hunting for it.
Note: no other delivery company has this problem with our address.”
“For a service that started over 500 years ago you'd expect the royal mail must have seen everything and got a contingency plan to deal with it. But not so. Delivery services in there infancy are able to get a package to me from another continent faster than the Royal mail can deliver one to me from 2 miles away. And zero customer service when you try and find why they still have your package and you don't. Useless.”

“They failed to deliver a package containing a £200 phone. It was posted first class recorded and 7 days on - nothing and they dont concider it lost until 10 days. Absolute disgrace and cant be trusted. In addition sent another 1st class recorded letter to my solicitor 2 days ago and still not arrived!!! They cant be trusted and should be closed down as an orginisation.”
