“Tracking is useless. Entering number just gets the message “updates are only available once we try to deliver your package” in other words you can only track it once you’ve got it.”
“Royal mail are terrible! I checked with my supplier as my item hadn't been received today when shipping was due between 21/24 Nov. The tracking number indicated my item has been attempted to be delivered on the 17th Nov and was returned to Rochdale DO, then it said I had picked up my parcel on the 18th! I couldn't have as I didn't know they had even attempted delivery until this morning when I tracked the code from the shipper, also as they didn't leave a card, I don't believe they had even attempted delivery if I am honest. This is the 3rd time Royal Mail Rochdale have lied about deliveries I will not order from the supplier again because they use royal mail!”

“Two parcel deliveries in a within a few weeks . Both lashed up . First one didn't turn up on time then the sender rang them ,quite unhelpful ,loads of excuses . Eventually turned up. Second parcel was next day delivery . Didn't turn up . I told the company to use dpd .in future I will offer a bit more to ensure I get a dpd delivery .”

“A parcel was sent to me on the 3rd of November by 2nd Class parcel post, now the 18th and still not received it,I was told by postman that there are 10 postman down in the sorting office and the parcels are just being dumped in sacks in the sorting office in the past the managers would help out and get staff other offices and the managers would also help with delivery but now they just sit in the office and tell them to get on with it.”

“Do Not use their collection service, I'm currently off work with a broken leg and needed to send a parcel so i decided to use royal mail collection service. The collection was booked between 8.15 - 12.15 no show, at 7pm i got an email saying they won't be collecting my parcel and to rebook or get a refund. I won't be trusting this service again as i needed the parcel to be delivered the next day and not when they can be bothered to pick it up.

“avoid avoid avoid at all costs. 7 out of 10 items do NOT get marked as delivered. So you have to give refunds as you have no proof. postmen/women incompetent cant do job properly, disgrace..... you dont get the service for which you pay. NO customer service, only hope they get what they deserve a great drop in service-they dont deserve to be in business and do not deserve had working peoples money. time and again there are problem after problem. £12 for special next day delivery takes 5 days. parcel after parcel going missing. sort your business out and look after those thats keeping you in business.”
“NOT ENOUGH POSTAGE WAS PAID (WHEN IT WAS)
This week some of my customers have been receiving a grey card saying "Item underpaid - there's a fee to pay". These items are all LARGE LETTER 35x24x2cm 300 gr - they all pass through the Size Guide - RM is asking my customers to pay £3.50 (as if they were small parcels) to collect the items (when I've already paid £2.39 for each one of them). I'm 100% sure I've paid the correct amount - I send out 30+ items per day, 4500+ in 11 months - never had this kind of problems. I've been calling Business Customer Service since Tuesday and no one has been able to solve this yet nor to give me any explanations. My customers are obviously disappointed and I am embarrassed and disappointed as well. They are and might be leaving bad reviews and for an e commerce reviews are everything. Other than this I've been waisting so much time this week replying to all my customers, sending complains, making calls and yet no answer. I'd expect a decent service considering that I am paying Royal Mail £2k + each month in postage labels. This is so un professional and annoying.
PS. To stay on the safe side I've decided to ship all my large letter from my local post office instead of buying labels online - at least till someone will give me some answers. At my local post office all these items are labelled as LARGE LETTERS and I am paying for LARGE LETTERS.”
“Now Royal Mail have failed to deliver a fourth parcel to me. Furthermore, consistent with the previous practices, they left no card at my home to enable me to collect it from the post office where it has been left for collection. This company are consistent in supplying a truly dreadful service. Nevertheless they are an excellent advertisement for incompetence in employing personal who are unable to deliver to a correct address and lie about leaving leaving notifications when people are not in. Can only point out that currently this approach appears to be the norm and fits in with the practices and mood thriving in this country.”
“Absolutely useless. Third package in a row that I have had to call about. Either not bothering to deliver of just randomly delivering to the first house/hedge they see. Customer service shocking. Takes 30 mins to get through to someone who then tells you to ring back in the morning. Only way to get a parcel from Royal Mail is to physically wait by the van and insist it is handed over. Absolutely atrocious.”
“Thieves. You have thieves working in your company. I received an empty box, yes you heard me and empty box where my 150ml bottle of perfume should have been. And the joke was that it came in the box that had been too perfectly ripped and not a spill in sight or smell yet your company apologised for my item arriving this condition, what condition exactly?!?!?!?! This is disgusting behavior, that you would actually send me an empty box knowing fully well that it was stolen . Disgusting”
