“How can this company carry on trading. The service is absolutely rubbish. No delivery for days now and I'm waiting for critical medication to be delivered. Tried calling them and all you get is automated replies. Covid is just a way for them to cover their backsides. It's about time that the hierarchy took a real long look at what they are running. Track and trace is a waste of time (information will be available when we attempt to deliver). Why bother paying the extra to track.”
“The driver didnt bother to call me even if he didnt know where my address is and now my parcel is being sent back to the sende.I went to the mail office today, there were two people sitting inside the reception but the door is locked.I tried to call them on phone after I went home but they say they are unable to pick up the phone due to coronavirus on line.Why the f are you sitting inside the recption if you are not going to pick up calls.What the f you need my phone number for?Call the customer if you cant find his address.It's the most simple thing and your lazy ass driver didnt bother to call for 1 minute. Dont ever order from royal mail, the way they speak is rude,impatient an the service is also bad.”

“Only gave 1* because I had to. Posted a letter on 24/10/20, finally got through on phone after 50 minute hold only to be told it has been lost, it did say on receipt delivery aim 24 hrs 🤣🤣. “Two issues the last two times I have used their website.
First to buy prepaid postage - which I queued up at two local post offices but after going through the scan and typing things into their tills, said they couldn't take it. I had to go to a main post office. Its miles away and now wasted time and energy. Ended up buying prepaid postage with another company and asking for a refund from Royal Mail. To which their reply was - awaiting a decision - still no decision.
Then this week, awaiting a delivery, missed it and now trying to book a redelivery. Website easy to navigate, buy says click on an option below - and there are no options for pick up or redelivery!! madness.”
“Parcel send Royal Mail 24 on a Friday, on the following Weds still no receipt or any information on tracking. Same with other parcels in the past. With all modern suppliers like Amazon you can track it all the way to your house. They need some new leadership! I also had a note to pick up a parcel that couldn't be delivered but the collection office was only open from 7am to 9am and I don't have time in the morning. What rubbish service. Other services have alternative drop off points and re-deliveries etc. I won't be using them again and I'll probably not buy if a supplier uses them for deliveries.”
“I'm getting to the point where if royal mail is the nominated delivery company, I hesitate to go through with the order. In the last 4 months, they have either failed to deliver or they have delivered so late (7 weeks) that it's causing no end of problems. I contact suppliers to say I haven't received the order, they either refund me or send a replacement and then the original order turns up weeks later. Their service is absolutely awful.”

“Was due to recive a tracked parcel from them, knowing i was going to be away monday i kept checking the tracking to see when it was due to arrive and have it delivered on a different day if it was going to be the monday. Item was sent thurday, no tracking updates no ETA. Monday comes and the first updaye i get is delivery attemped ok no problemnwill collect. Look at my collection iffice opening times. 8-10am on tuesday........ completely useless. Closed on wednesday, country wilp be in lockdown on thursday. Complete joke on RM part. How can EVERY other courier be working fine over the pandemic but Royal mail are yet again completely inept and not fit for purpose. I have a issue with royal mail EVERY SINGLE TIME i use them. I can count on one hand the amount of times i have actually been handed my (usually late) parcel from Royal mail and not have to go and collect myself. May aswell just liquidate them or have them delivering letters only. I activly avoid buying somthing if its delivered by royal mail. Hermes are far better and thats really saying somthing !”
“Haven’t received mail in 10days in spite of a number of items being sent tracked mail. I live in North London. Royal Mail advisor acknowledged they haven’t attempted delivery and there is no facility for me to collect my mail. After 10 days I can complain to sender and they can apply for reimbursement which takes 30 days. Meanwhile I don’t receive what I paid for. This is ridiculous. I can’t depend on Royal Mail during this time when we are mandated to stay at home. I no longer have any trust in Royal Mail.”
“I’m a regular Amazon customer and my heart sinks when my parcel is to delivered by Royal Mail. You were the gold standard for parcel delivery but no more. The independent courier companies have left you wallowing in their wake for professional service and reliability. Here I sit yet again waiting for another late delivery from you.”

Item status is showing "dispatched" for the past 6 days with no progress in its journey and no useful info from customer services other than "dispatched". What a waste of money and time. Dismal company to use and causes customer dissatisfaction for my business. Will be switching to another courier company from now on.”

I am seriously not going to use Royal Mail for my online business. Packages get lost on a daily basis, missed deliveries, wxtra service that we pay for signed for is a full non sense. Does not deliver what promised. No answers to numerous emails sent- only unless automated emails. Disgrace!”

Tried the Royal Mail .com but it didn't accept my email address although I have not had problems using this as my contact for the last 16 years. Put in my wife's address and it won't accept . ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME”
“The problem is that I am waiting for a very important letter that was post on 23/10/20 and it is now 31/10/20 and I am still waiting.sender confirms that it was posted.This is shocking service I know we have to be careful due to covid. “So we live in a block of 46 flats, Royal Mail refuse to deliver to our block or leave a card. Sometimes we get a card through the post after 3/4 days. They say it’s because they can’t gain access to the block? but postman comes daily and other delivery drivers. Even the postman stated the drivers are just lazy. Awful service .”
