“Absolutly disgusting service from Royal Mail, a complaint that has been ongoing since February 2021 and is still ongoing.
The lack of communication from your company is awful, the way your staff deal with complaints is ridiculous and I am still waiting for a call back that has been promised time and time again. Today I was on hold for 30 minutes to get through to a call handler, I was then being transferred to a manager and surprise surprise the call is dropped. This is not the first time this has happened.
I have been more than fair given the circumstances, it is your fault that my ring has gone missing yet you are not coming back to me on how you will rectify the issue.”
“Ordered an item on a wednesday and paid £7 for Tracked 24 to ensure it arrived in plenty of time for the following sunday. I checked the tracking on Friday to see it had gone to the wrong Sorting office (5 miles away from the correct one) and would be forwarded immediately. It is now saturday 5pm and still no delivery and no update to the status. It is still 5 miles away. Thank you so much royal mail.”
“As a seller, I am losing money using RM24HR service. Many customers never receive their orders, or receive them days later. Royal Mail staff routinely and fraudulently scan mail as being delivered when it hasn't been, then they will deliver it days later. They do not allow complaints and there is no compensation for this service, even if items go missing.”

“Special delivery by 1pm service, contract broken. The mail (small m, "Royal" removed, has done this 3 times in two months. The operator had no information to help me see where it is. Read sorry from a script and although no swearing or shouting (although I felt like it), blabbed on about compensation. I wanted the parcel by the service chosen. She "terminated" the call! She should be sacked.”

I returned my covid test kit using Royal Mail tracked 24 service. Since the 14th of September, it's been 7 days and my test provider hasn't received my tests yet. Their customer care call center? Just an automated music playing system basically. I have continually reached out to them on my delivery delay, just passive responses...no active solutions to the issues on ground. They even claimed to have delivered it to my test provider after which their delivery system revealed otherwise.
I would rather send a package through a tortoise than through Royal Mail. Absolutely frustrating and disappointing service.”
“Royal mail got left behind years ago by far superior parcel couriers and cheaper as well. I dont even bother with them anymore. Even their letters take up to a week to arrive and their tracking is rubbish.”

“I send about 10 small etsy packages a day with these clowns and about 1 in 10 goes missing. I once sent 3 items to a friend to check and the first 2 never arrived. Only when I cut off the 'etsy' part of the label did the 3rd arrive. Customer service recommended using special delivery to ensure that they arrived!! How's about you sort out the shambles of a company and get rid of the useless/thieving staff instead.”

i moved into a new property over 9 months ago,
ordered lots of difference items.
all the stuff delivered by anyone else than royal mail has arrived no problem.
at least a quarter of the stuff supposed to be delivered by royal mail hasnt turned up.
complained 4 times by phone , email and even at the sorting office and just get fobbed off.
currently waiting for a package from ebay 2nd attempt from seller as the 1st one didnt arrive and the so called tracking number is not fit for purpose as it cant be used unless the item has been delivered.
only choice is to buy from people that dont use useless royal mail.
only reason it gets 1 star is you have to leave a star.
