“Got 1 email yesterday and 1 today told package would arrive between 9 36 and 1 36 it us now 7 27 and still no sign payed extra for first class delivery very poor .package arrived in perth 9 50 this morning seen two royal mail delivery van in street not amused”
“Let delivery person through door entry,awaited a knock at my door for delivery,but nothing .
Despite poor mobility I went to look where it might be,was left in a communal area by the main door.
No attempt to deliver to me,just lazily left for me to collect.
What if every postie thinks,I can't be bothered I'll leave all the mail for the entire court for them to sort and collect themselves.
I paid for 48 HR delivery and expect just that,delivery .
Says a lot about the view of staff ,who are paid to deliver,not just throw it somewhere and hope it gets there.”
“I've gotten to the point where I feel grateful when a parcel actually arrives! They're often just left at the local dispatch office with no attempt to deliver or notify they have it.
I was sent a package - "Guaranteed by 1pm delivery" for 3 days ago. Tracking says it got to my local D.O. and that's the last I've heard of it. I'll have to head over there tomorrow to pick it up. And a package that was posted first class recorded over 2 weeks ago finally arrived today; and I felt grateful.”
“Why on earth do Royal Mail send you a txt to say your parcel is coming today and give you times! Thy never arrive on the day they say, send the txt in the correct day please. I waited in all day and no parcel,so goodness knows when it will arrive. Get yourselves organised.”
“I Have been sent cards that never arrive. Now I sent a get well to Australia on the 6th September it has not arrived there. A cheque for a large amount was never delivered to us so had to get it cancelled.
There should be an alternative company to use for general letters etc.”
“My husband has been waiting 4 days for medication to be delivered. Chelmsford MC received it on 5th July and it was tracked24, so delivery should have been within 24 hours but still waiting by the 8th.
The tracking system was useless, if I tried to phone, I was sent from pillar to post. I eventually saw a local post van and asked him if there was a different phone number to actually speak to someone - unheard of these days I know - but he wasn't sure of it. However - a couple of hours later the said van returned with my husbands medication!! To say we were surprised was an understatement but he was so kind as he actually went to look for it for him. He totally went the extra mile for us and we thank him for that. Unfortunately I didn't get his name.”

“On line purchase of postage used to be simple/ now it’s rubbish and not intuitive. Can no longer contact local sorting office have to use National number that doesn’t answer or cuts you off. Absolutely disgraceful- I can see why people now go to private companies- I will join the. Directors doing a good job of running the company down and won’t even pay poor postie for extra rounds !!”
“I had a very specific time slot for a delivery today 02/12 between 12.18 and 2.18
reference number is FN214895619GB. I waited in especially. I was told that this is a second class delivery. It was posted on Monday 29th of November.
Why send an email with specific times if it is not correct and if problems why not send an update!!”
“Nowadays it is really useful/important to be able to track parcels. Other companies allow me to track the entire route - Royal Mail tracking just tells me if they’ve tried to deliver it. I know that - I would have received it or seen a card. I want to know if it’s en route, at the delivery centre, our for delivery, etc. They are really playing catch up.”
“They are very good at losing peoples post, and their Tracking system is appalling compared to other couriers. They seem to forget that Joe Public is their business not big contracts with other companies.”
“Ordered tracked delivery. Parcel delayed as sent to the wrong delivery office. Checking the website for updates, no movement for a day, getting desperate as the parcel wont actually be needed after a certain time and then tried to navigate their website. The website absolutely stinks of cost-cutting measures as you go round and round in circles interacting with useless chat bots and unhelpful options trying to find the answer to your problem or a number to call. Found a number to call and had to wait for 45 minutes to speak to a very polite and professional lady, who couldn't ultimately resolve my issue. When my parcel does arrive I'll be sending it back via a different courier service as the time has passed when I needed it.”
“I booked a redelivery for a gift for my future daughter in law and it was supposed to arrive on Thursday but it never arrived I called royal mail and they said that it would arrive today on the 11th of June but it has not arrived today”

“Despite my regularly completing and returning a form to opt out of unaddessed items being put through my letterbox by our local postmen, they continue to shower us with loads of this unwanted promotional material. What's the matter with these people? I've a good mind to return it to them by popping it into our nearest postbox.”
