Sainsbury gave my cousin a job when he and his family could not cope. He had four mouths to feed. I also told them off and they gave me £10. in a voucher. They are the most friendliest people I can find the stores are really clean and any problems are sorted out as fast as grease lightening. My home is filled with Sainsbury. The only one jib I have is that there are not enough of them.

I have visited the New Sainsbury's in Nine Elems, found this a very large store. Very spacious, has almost everything you could possibly think of. Good undercover car parking with security, very large lifts to main store. I have never met an assistance, on floor or check-out to un-helpful. However on my last visit, Julie on check out really went out of her way to be so polite, friendly, with cheerful personality. Check-out has always been exceptionally quick. This store also has a restaurant, Argos in store, baby and baby changing & disable facilities.

I placed an order for the first time two weeks ago for delivery with Sainsbury Grocery for their Merton Store. The delivery did not show up and and I was never contacted. After calling their Customer Support, they confirmed they had a shortage of drivers and I was never contacted regarding this. Understanding things can happen, it was rescheduled the following morning. This delivery never showed up either and again I was not contacted. I called the Support Team again who apologized and we re-scheduled once again for that afternoon; the representative confirmed this would be prioritized and the store clerk had my order to pick. The day went by with no delivery again. At this point they apologized again claiming the order went out but came back to the store as he driver could not finish the deliveries, they offered a small gift card and confirmed my order was cancelled and I would be refunded within 3-5 working days. Keep in mind I am 8 months pregnant with twins so I am not able to go to the store myself to do any groceries. I had to place a whole new order with Asda delivery (that evening) so I could not get a delivery for another 2 days, this was delivered without any issues. I have yet to be refunded from Sainsbury's so I contacted them again today and the store's excuse is that they are busy with refunds and it will be completed today, 2 weeks later. The Customer Service team did their job and tried to defuse the situation however this store's service is completely unacceptable. I spent over £60 on this delivery and still do not my money and I had to wait for over 3 days to get a proper grocery because of their incompetency. I highly discourage anyone using their delivery service and I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I ordered the 1720euro and collect it today at 5:00 in the Sainburys Blackhall store in EH4 Edinburgh. The staff he gave me the euro in the counter window, I collected it than counted all the money and requested him to change some 20euro to 50euro to reduce the quantity. It is so disappointing that he said he can't make the change to me, because I taken the money away from the window and also out of his sign!! What! Excuse me, the money is he gave me, what's that happen? I asked him why you can't change it to me. It terrible reply me that because the money was taken away from my sign and no guarantee the money will be changed to fake notes. I was really upset to reply him that I am standing in front of the counter with CCTV recorded. How can I do it? Why I do it? He suspected me is a theft? It is so shameful. I trusted he gave me the true note, but he suspected I changed back the fake note to him? Finally, I ran away with shame. I was really disappointed the company Sainburys how to provide the training and selection of the staff. It is so messed of the management system.

Never, ever buy Sainsburys Chinese food. It is almost the same price as a takeaway but the quality is dire tastes nothing like Chinese food. I just had to apologise to subjecting my family to a meal that we could barely eat

Bought 2 packets of Taste the Difference crackers for cheese to use over the holiday period. Most of first packet went in the bin and the whole of the other because they tasted like poorly flavoured cardboard! Very disappointing for an expensive product. M and S far superior!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER SALE GOODS FROM THIS STORE. YOU WILL MAYBE FIND LIKE WE DID THEY INFORM YOU THREE DAYS LATER ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY THAT THEY ARE OUT OF STOKE. VERY BAD FOR A STORE CHAIN OF THIS SIZE NOT TO HAVE AN UP TO DATE STOCK NUMBER ON GENERAL PUBLIC ORDER LINE.

Dont go near Sainsburys Watford. Parking terms have been tightened and fines rigidly enforced. Wont use any Sainsburys again

I bought a kitsound headphone and one side of the headphone did not play at all and when I tried to play it outside my headphone started to crack up and did not play properly. I do not recommend this product.

Sainsbury's Local Asian manager at Woodford Green was rude, arrogant, shouted and was intimidating to me. No concept of customer service, no manners and no respect for female customer.

Bought several items at Sainsbury's Online which were advertised at discounted prices however they charged me full price. Upon raising this with their online customer service desk (including screenshots of the advertised price), they initially denied that the products were discounted. After questioning this further they then agreed the price was wrong but didn't bother to refund the difference despite promising. Very unprofessional!

The Bridgwater branch of Sainsburys is really good, it has the most helpful and friendly staff of any supermarket including other Sainsburys. I have lived and shopped all over the world and all over the Uk and never had such a positive shopping experience as in the Bridgwater store. Well done all the staff, thankyou so much and happy Christmas to you all.

Ordered first ever online shop - good didn't arrive, local branch couldn't care less. Promised a refund and rescheduled delivery but decided not to bother with reschedule as had already gone out shopping following day. Goods arrived that night so told driver they weren't required. No refund yet - head office cannot help, have been put on hold half a dozen times only to be told to ring local branch again. Disgusting customer service - they do not deserve people's business in my opinion.

Absolutely farcical. I never bother with online shopping but Sainsburys had sent me a money off voucher and a free delivery pas so i thought why not....... Shouldn't have bothered. Had to phone 3 or 4 tines trying to get these vouchers on and eventually i just told them to cancel it as life is too short for that kind of nonsense. Never again. Ill add that the staff on the phone were lovely but that's no use if the orders wrong.

dont buy a microwave from sainsburys!! I bought a microwave about 1 year ago and the microwave started to smoke and catch fire whilst cooking something in it so I contacted my local sainsburys who asked me if I had the receipt to which I answeres I lost the receipt, I called customer careline to tell them and they told me to send my microwave oven to them so that they could run a quality test on the microwave. I received a letter saying that they would be in touch within 15 days. I heard nothing for about 4 weeks and then I called them and asked what had happened to my microwave. They told me they were waiting for an answer from their quality control. Well a couple of days past and they called me up and told me that some dried food was inside the microwave oven and this is why it caught light, they then told me that they could not give me another microwave. I asked them if I could have my microwave back because if it was only food that had caught light then of course it would still work and I would be able to get my microwave back, well they told me they would call me back that day to see if they could get me my microwave back, it has now been 1 week and still no telephone call or my microwave back.. Do not buy any sainsburys microwave oven grill because they are rubbish and only last 1 year avoid at all costs!!! Sainsburys also do not work with a resolution dispute service like the retail ombudsman service so you can't make a complaint to anyone but sainsburys!! So there is no point buying their products.. Thanks Sainsburys you let me down

Sainsburys party range Tempura Prawns were my favourite of all I trie . Now all batter no prawn,very upset by this now back to my Ocean Pearl only I now have to travel to Costco to get them.

Well my delivery was booked for between 8 - 9pm, I got a call at 8 on the dot, to say the driver was at my house and I wasn't there, I told them I would be about 5 mins. When I got home at 8.10 the driver was putting my shopping back in the lorry, I said excuse me I'm here, sorry I'm late but got held up, he said too bad your too late. I don't expect to be spoken to like that when I'm spending my hard earned money by a driver
