SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. “We are having a hard time using the router since we already have one in our home. Using a second router is affecting our Wi-Fi and security cameras. We will have to trouble shoot to see how we can make it work. Otherwise, I loved the clarity of the camera and the alarm system.”

“I absolutely love the SAMi camera. It has been life-changing to go to sleep at night and know that I will be alerted if my child has a seizure. I love that I can customize the settings and save videos I'd like the doctor to see. This device has brought me peace of mind.”

“We have found the SAMi to be high quality, easy to set-up and the pre-installed app if very logical and easy to navigate. The picture is excellent day and night! We have quickly gained added peace of mind from having SAMi keep an eye on our daughter at night. The only small negative is the range for the wireless signal but that's more on us than the device. Overall, very pleased and grateful to have this wonderful tool!”

“SAMi has saved our daughter's life on multiple occasions by alerting us of nocturnal seizures. I can't imagine a night without it. Our daughter was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome at 4 months old. She is now almost 4 years old. SAMi was one of our first purchases after receiving her diagnosis. I highly recommend this product to any parent. Thank you to the SAMi team for everything!”

“In the short time we have had the SAMI kit, it has worked well. It took some time to hone in on the exact settings we were looking for, but now it appears to capture and notify us appropriately when seizure activity is occurring. We are thankful for SAMI!”

“My son has tonic clonic seizures, and has recently started having absence seizures. This camera has given me peace of mind at night, I used to stay up all night with my face glued to a baby monitor, I was only getting around 2 hours of sleep per night due to the seizures my son has. Currently waiting for a diagnosis from his doctors and the videos this camera takes is awesome because I can send them straight to his doctor. His neurologist never heard of this camera before and I informed him about it and he said he’d surely tell the other parents that asked him about some type of monitor for their kids. I can’t thank you all enough for creating this.”

“With an issue of previous unreliability with video monitoring units we did some research and came across Sami. I love that everything is so customizable for your specific needs. Set up was easy and it has given me such peace of mind. With the settings we chose, we were able to be alerted to a seizure within 15 seconds which makes for prompt response. The recordings are crisp and clear. This will be extremely helpful to our doctor as treatment goes on for our treatment in Epilepsy. I appreciate the app and it’s user friendly set up. The dimmable clock is very nice for bedtime to keep the lights down. I was nervous about not having the live video feed up but as soon as the alarm hits, it opens the live feed and has the mic turned on.”

“Absolutely love this monitor! My 5 year old daughter has been diagnosed with intractable epilepsy and she suffered a very severe seizure recently. After experiencing something this traumatic, we ordered the Sami-3 camera 2 days later and it’s been a game changer! We sleep peacefully knowing that if something occurs, it will alert us and wake us up in time. I love that I can look back on previous recordings to check for anything abnormal and we are able to send any findings to my phone directly. Thank you so much for this device!!”

“We have been using SAMi for a couple of weeks now. The function of the camera has been consistent and reliable. Being able to know I'll be woken up if my son has a seizure is a game changer for him with his safety and health. My only complaint is that you have to have to iPad screen on all the time for the camera to function. They have a "clock" mode, but it still leaves the screen on and sucks 30%-50% of your iPad's battery overnight. So make sure you have a full charge every night, or you might not get a notification of there is movement. The other part that did bother me about this, is that I don't remember seeing any information before I bought the product about needing to leave the screen on all the time. I hope this is able to be improved in the future. All that said, if you plan ahead this is a good product for the safety of someone who needs monitoring at night when sleeping.”

“I have purchased the SAMI-3 to help me sleep at night knowing that my 4.5 years old daugther would be safe in her bed. She has epilepsy since she is 6 weeks old, and she had recurent brief seizures for the last 6 weeks. We have been playing with her meds, and I was using a baby monitor to look at her if needed but that type of camera wasnt capturing her seizures and recording them. I needed a way that I could capture and monitor her seizures at night to know if her meds were working for her or if changes needed to be done again... Also, I needed something so I could sleep again, because I was sleeping with her to watch her. Since I have purchased this SAMI-3, I am now able to sleep at night knowing that if ny daugther has a long seizure I will be warned with an alarm sound and I can review all the recording the following morning to make sure I am keeping track of her seizures.... the lenght, the movement, etc. This camera also offer some setting that let you lower the background noise so you can hear her breathing properly... this gave me the opportunity to leave her whitenoise machine on during the night. The sami-3 camera also helped me to send recording of my daugther seizures to her neurologist, so she can review them for proper evaluation, etc. Even do my daugther's seizures are very brief 5 to 20 seconds, this camera allow me to aleep at night knowing that I can review the recording the following morning.”

“My son has a rare seizure condition called scn8a and he has many different types of seizures alot of them in his sleep the Sami monitor has alerted me of myoclonic jerks that I was unaware of we love it and recommend it”

“We’ve had our SAMi Cam for about 5 days and I couldn’t be more grateful to have it! We’d had a horrible time catching concerning seizure activity in the past but, with SAMi, I’ve already been able to forward videos to our daughter’s physicians. It’s helping us get her the treatment she needs.”

“The SAMi has been a life saver for us. I was very worried to let our daughter sleep alone in her bedroom. The SAMi definitely does its job with alerting us on any type of movement while also giving our daughter the freedom she deserves. I also love that I can set my own sensitivity for the alarm.
