SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. SAMi will not only reliably alert you to abnormal movement, but automatically records high quality video and audio of the event, providing invaluable video evidence for Neurologists, Epileptologists, and other Healthcare providers to accurately diagnose and prescribe effective treatment plans. “This device is a life-saver! Without it, we would have never been able to witness and respond to our son's nocturnal seizures! Our son is very active during the night, but we have been able to adjust the settings so that we are only alerted when needed. I have been able to email videos to the doctor also! Such a great blessing!”

“The SAMi sleep activity monitor is so helpful. It gives us peace of mind that we can rest well and be alerted if our daughter needs us in the night. It’s great that it comes with its own router and iPad so that it is devoted to seizure detection. It’s also great that the settings can be adjusted to our needs and preferences. “I am not electronically inclined at all however it was very easy to set up. I am a single mother of an adult with autism & seizures they were happening more frequently so I looked into a device that would help me for the first time in 6 months I was able to sleep more peacefully knowing there was a device out there that was loud enough to wake me up if anything were to happen. Thank you!! I am truly blessed to have this product.”

“Just started using SAMi, but so far very good. Still figuring out how it is best to set the alarm as the child wakes up during the night to drink and during that he triggers the alarm. But we know for sure that the alarm works!”

“I can say the SAMi-3 camera works wonderfully to record the seizures I have while I sleep. The only problem I have with the wonderful piece of technology is, as a loyal user of android devices and Windows PCs, I had to buy a Apple device as the Camera doesn't work with anything else.”

“Great monitor system! My son suffers from epilepsy and it gives me peace of mind during the night when we are all asleep. I like that it captures and stores recordings. I was able to capture one of his auras to show to his doctor. It was also very easy to install. They don’t offer much out there for monitoring seizures. Thank you for such an amazing product!”

“The SAMi has been a lifesaver and we don’t know what we would do without it. We got it when my daughter was diagnosed with nocturnal epilepsy in addition to her other seizure types. With the SAMI we were able to show her neurologist the seizures and the frequency of seizures she was having at night. It was at least 20 per night. Because of that she was put on another medication to specifically help with the nocturnal seizures and it’s been phenomenal. She is able to sleep, she is safe in her bed, and we are not getting up 20 times a night to make sure she’s ok. We can see her, she still has the occasional seizure at night which we are able to monitor with the SAMi.”

“My son was epilepsy. He has always had tonic clonic seizures until recently. He had to have a few EEG’s recently. One lasting an hour and another lasting 72 hours. Nocturnal seizures were suspected. The only thing is we were never able to catch them happening. Within a week of having the Sami we finally have video of them happening. I was also woken by an alarm while they were happening. I can sleep at night now knowing this system will wake me up in a time that my son needs me. It’s easier than trying to record a seizure, video and time it while trying to administer emergency medication and calling emergency services. I’m also no longer sleep deprived as I sat on my sons room at night and watched him sleep. My husband took the day shift as he works from home. I really don’t know how we went this long without one.”

“Thanks Trevor for informing and helping us in obtaining the SamiAlert Complete Kit. We are grateful that it's monitoring our son, Dylan while he is sleeping, so we have peace of mind with the iPad to know he is okay. The WIFI connection is excellent and the features are great. Setting a time to start and stop the camera, adjusting the amount of time before we're alerted, and the motion sensor turning red when there is any movement, are among the best features for us.”
