SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. During sleep, the SAMi camera's proprietary technology monitors for unusual or abnormal movement in the field of view. When abnormal movement is detected, an alarm sounds on the Apple device running the SAMi iOS app (iPhone / iPod / iPad / Mac) and displays a live video / audio feed. Within seconds, the individual or caregiver can take any necessary action. “This is the best seizure tracking monitor we've found. Our son specifically has nocturnal seizures, so having this system is invaluable to us. The only downsides we've found is that the app was only available for iPad (we cannot use it on our Android tablets); the settings aren't necessarily the most intuitive and look like they were designed by a programmer; on some rare occasions, the recording feature resets and we have to re-activate it.”

“Thanks to the SAMi camera, I can breathe easier at night knowing that my child is safely monitored and I will be alerted should something happen. Whether it is while she is sleeping or even during playtime, the camera keeps everything on record. It allows us to send any seizure or movement disorder activity captured straight to the doctor for review. SAMi has helped our family out immensely and has improved our way of living.”

“Sami cam has been an incredible piece of equipment for my six year old son with epilepsy. We not only can see how many seizures he has throughout the night but also his sleep patterns. Which is a real concern that we weren’t aware of prior to getting the Sami Cam. We are so grateful for this camera! Our nurses use it, ABA therapist, ESE tutor, and our whole family. We can now make sure our son is okay while he’s in his epilepsy safety bed. Our other monitor and camera didn’t pick up every movement and record so that’s also been huge for us to have in the morning -to look over the recordings and see what type of night he had so we know why he’s in the state he’s in the following morning. Thank you Sami Cam! We are so grateful you created such a life changing camera!!”

“I purchased the anti suffocation pillow. It is high quality. I absolutely love the fact that you can customize the pillow. I actually created two pillows with this one pillow. I knew I could trust this company. I also have the Sami Motion detector (full package) for my son with severe epilepsy. It is shocking to truly see what happens at night and has helped immensely with his care and protection.”

“We purchased the SAMi-3 Kit in February 2023 for our son with epilepsy. This monitor has provided us with reassurance and has allowed us to sleep again! We have easily traveled with the SAMi kit as the router provides its own network for the camera monitor. We love our SAMi and highly recommend it to anyone for some added peace of mind.”

“My son has many of his seizures during his sleep. Before we installed the Sami system, we had to sleep with him for all his naps and at night which was impossible because of our other children. The Sami system has caught many seizures for us and we are able to care for all our kids and feel comfortable, knowing that we can watch our epileptic kiddo safely in his bed”

“Our SAMi camera had given us peace of mind that our son can have his independence but we can still keep an eye on him to help keep him safe. It does pick up any movement so sometimes it will alarm when our son is just adjusting blankets but that is because we have it set to alarm after 30 seconds of movement. Everything on the camera is adjustable which makes it nice you can adjust the sensitivity and the alarm time etc to your own needs. I highly recommend the SAMi camera for anyone who needs to monitor someone for seizures or other medical issues.”

“I witnessed my daughter having seizures in her sleep and shortly after waking up this past February. After an ER visit and an overnight stay at our local children’s hospital with a normal EEG, we were told by the attending neurologist that it was likely she did not have real seizures, and it probably wouldn’t happen again. I believed differently from what I saw and or daughter reported. I started researching cameras that could record her if she had more episodes. I came across SAMi. We purchased and set up. Sure enough our daughter continued to have more seizures that SAMi recorded. We were able to share with the neurology staff. During a stay in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, the epileptologist reviewed the videos, along with other medical information, and he was able to accurately diagnose our daughter with focal epilepsy and begin her on anti seizure medication. Thank you to SAMi for helping us to provide video evidence to the physicians. It lead us to the proper diagnosis, which we suspected all along at the onset of our journey.”
