“The scooter was fine. Scoot asks that the scooter be left in the cabin. The scooter is found in the hallway not the cabin. We need the scooter to go down stairs to meet a wheel chair . So, the staff tells us to leave the scooter in the Lounge. It is not easy to leave the scooter in the cabin or hallway because it is needed to transfer to a wheel chair on the gangway.”
“Never disappointed with service. Scooter always waiting in the cabin and in good condition. Offers cancellation insurance for a small fee. Will continue to rent from Scoot Around.”
“I had a bad experience on the last cruise. Ended up putting me in alot of pain and costing me $500.00. I paid alot of money for the scooter for each day but when I arrived on the ship, we were locked out of rooms. They were cleaning and the scooter was in my room. It took an hour and speaking with 5 different people who all had different answers,to get the scooter brought out of the room for me. My travel companion had to go get it all while been told she couldn't by multiple employees on ship. I could only sit on a couch in a roped off section by ship entrance and be told I cant sit there constantly by staff. Then the evening before we arrived at nassau, I asked for the person who handled scooters on the ship to come show me how to fold it, in case we needed to take a cab while in port. He came and took it apart but didnt get it folded and then it wouldnt work at all. So he said he would fix up it while we were gone in port. I cant walk but a few feet and cant stand. I had to walk all the way down the pier while my companion pretty much held me up, we jumped in first cab we could get because we didnt have my scooter in port. And I cant stand long either. So we had to travel around nassau by car and got shocked with a 500.00 bill for a few hours driving us to locations. Then I had to walk back down that long pier to get back on ship. So I paid for a product I couldn't use, lost vacation time while ship staff pretended to know how to fold, and try to repair the scooter. I paid $500 for cab and then suffered the rest of the cruise in excruciating pain from walking down pier. So not very pleased with last trip. Others have been fine but this INCIDENT ruined my trip.”
“Rented scooter for cruise. Another rep said it was available before cruise for our land part. It was a no show. It never showed for our entire land portion. We relied on your so we had nothing else with us. I had to beg, borrow and steal wheelchairs for his use. My husband is a large man and my back was breaking by the time we got to the ship.
On board we received a scooter. Guess what?! It wouldn’t work. The ship couldn’t fix it, so again we have nothing to use. Back to wheelchairs.
I have seen your company’s name numerous times. Believed your were a reliable company. Now I am hearing other stories. SO DISAPPOINTED.”
“Worked very well, I could ditch my wife whenever I wanted. It would hold all the packages that she bought. It also would hold a charge for a long time.”
“You have changed the way I can travel now. Excellent customer service, competitive rates and top quality -- I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you”
“My sister and I always rent Scoot Around when we go to Fairs, last year we rented scootaround a few times for the Pomona fair and the San Diego Fair. We love them its helps us along because we both have disabilities. They are great looking forward to this year fairs and the scooters to get us around.”
“Fantastic service and the scooter saved my cruise! I highly recommend Scoot Around to anyone with mobility issues so you don't have to give up having fun!”
“Was surprised at the great service and ability to seamlessly pick up at the originating port. Was not prepared by Celebrity cruise policy to keep scooter in room, but discovered scooter could be backed into room entry, and it did fit. Got many inquiries first two days by people who wishes they had rented to get around the cruise ship, and so glad I reserved in advance .Will definitely use Scoot Around again!”
“Although I love the service the price range for handicapped people has gotten so out of range from from the scooter round. To daily cand for the time that you're actually using then for help it saddens me.”
