My business electricity been cut off by Scottish power and told me igot estimate bill nearly 4000. And they told me when i pay they gonna come and open back in 48 hours Nearly 2 week no one come put my power back on. Im try contact with them and they keep giving me 14 different phone numbers And same thinks every day im try contact with them you have contact with SMERECONNECTIONNS team by eamil idid email them 2 days no one reply my email after 4 days i received other bill saying Igot other estimate bill is 1.800. And how igot other estimate bill my business closed for 2 week itry contact with them again today and iwant 55 minute to answer costumer service and phone is just cut off

Where to start scottish power are a joke been trying since last year to get mistakes retifide ombusman involved they set out what scottish power had to do but they still havent done it all emailed ombusman again today .waited for two days before i got a reply from the chat today i replied still waiting for reply back cant get them on the phone they dont reply to emails . Rude customer service who are not even in the country they sendiing threatning letters despite saying the wouldnt do this trying to sort out their mess. Very angry now never known such a terriable company avoid avoid avoid if i could give minus 10stars i would

They don’t answer the phone or they hang up. You can use the chat service you end up with a robot. They offer no negotiation on direct debits even when you are not using no where near the amount they say you have to pay. Absolutely horrific company!

You have to give one star. They are absolutely terrible. I switched to Octopus and they will not take a final reading. Their wait times are over an hour and they actually send you an email if you try and use that way saying they just won’t reply. Honestly, do not use them, they are so bad I cannot believe they are in business.

We've been with Scottish Power since we moved into the house 7 years ago. But, now customer service is absolutely awful. They advise you to use webchat, who in turn tell you to ring Scottish Power on 03452700700 which is a completely different number to the one that is on the bills. You try and ring them and the office is closed, even though they state Saturdays are open 8.30 - 1 p.m. All you get is a recorded message stating they are dealing with a large number of calls and the waiting time is in excess of 30 mins. then they state that the office is closed. I've sent emails explaining things, but never get replies. Not sure what they want there customers to do if they won't talk to them. If we didn't pay our bills they would be on to us straight away.

The worst company I have ever delt with customer service appalling infact non existence, and this is ongoing long before pandemic. I have a fixed rate till next year and I have just been informed my direct debit has doubled . You have little or no chance of speaking to a human being as I have been trying for the past week nothing more than stealth theft

They changed mine to pay as you go and I've been trying to tell them that I have Huntington's disease and I can't reach my meter at the very top of the cupboard and type in 20 different numbers and she just basically said that if I don't do that then I won't be able to top up I was mad and asked if I could get a key because that would be easier but she said no, I'm mad

Same as every other review. Spent over 85 hours on the phone. Broken promises of returning calls over 50 Times. Each time the issue gets worse as no one will own the mess they caused. Now with ombudsman Worst days work I did going to this criminal company

Honestly, not even worth a 1 star. Worst of all time. They put you on hold for over 3 hours then hang up to say they are too busy so can’t answer. If you’re lucky for someone to answer, they just transfer you to someone else. If you finally manage to get them to send an engineer over, the engineer doesn’t show up. And they blatantly don’t care because when you call the next day, someone new picks up and they seem to not even care. They just repeat the cycle. Even when you say it’s an emergency and that there’s no power in Your house for 3 days and you’ve been trying to get help for the last 3 days. THE WORST OF ALL TIME!!!!

Scottish Power are a disgrace. We got behind in our payments, we called the Customer service department to change the tariff so as to pay off the debt. Even though we were told it was changed, days after they ignored this and put us on a pay as you go scheme, then they told us the direct debit was refused by the bank as our bank account was closed. Of course we called the bank and they said Scottish Power hadn't even applied for a direct debit. Even with all this information then refused to put us back onto the tariff. I have spent over 10 days sometimes 3 times a day trying to talk to them. They always say it is my fault even though we made the arrangement before the changed us over. They will not let us speak to anyone [manager]. As that is not their policy. They gave me different phone numbers that don't exist. They transferred me to departments to talk to people and I was cut off after 40 minutes. It is an absolute disgrace. As soon as we pay up we will leave I recommend that everyone does this. Don't go with Scottish Power.

I can honestly say Scottish Power provide the worst customer service I have ever received; I’m honestly serious. You have no choice but to call their hotline; and you will wait at least 30-45 mins on a good day. I usually am kept waiting between 1.5-2 hours. I am often cut off by their phone line before talking to anyone. Their chat function is laughable and again you will be kept waiting for an age before you can speak to a person rather than their bot. I was discouraged from raising a complaint about a legitimate failing on their end. Their reps gave me wildly varying information and they are making it incredibly difficult for me to move from a prepayment to a direct debit meter. Their app is faulty very frequently which has led to payments not going through so my energy cuts off regularly. I have a young family and have been brought to tears which how badly I have been treated in an age where energy prices are rising exponentially. I would urge any prospective customer of Scottish Power PLEASE to reconsider and use a different energy provider, they are honestly appalling.

Hello guys please don't be a customer of Scottish power they don't listen to you if you have a problem and you call them because you think they will sort it out for you it's gonna be like this they are gonna be like we cannot do anything to solve this problem for you or I am gonna transfer the call because I am confused on what to do or like during the call they are just gonna cut the call on your face without calling you back that's a shame and also I called them once and the staff wasn't even listening to me I tried to explain him the problem that I have with mu account but he was like I am really annoyed by you this was really rude.
