“I had bought an aerosol of hammerite to seal underneath my car. Had wheels of, jack up and put on axle stands. Shook can for time stated, blocked after 5 seconds, clean nozzle, shook again, after 5 attempts returned to the store. Wasted half a day!”

“Had to buy a tap three times because it arrived with faults every time, the last time it was noticeably bent. Elouise Driver in the Screwfix Customer Resolution Team was not helpful and I had to fight my corner to not be put in a position of financial detriment. It took over a month to get the right tap. Would not recommend product or service.”

“Screwfix is a place for trade really but public pricing can be expensive to say the least.i know in these pressing times money is scarce and each to there own but it's always worth a look around.you never know you might just find a bargain somewhere else..this is not a slag off in anyway I go Screwfix weekly and spend alot of money there,alot.they are easy to get to and are convenient to.and have a huge stock of items under one roof but the pricing that what it all boils down to..just look around and you may be surprised”

“Screwfix at Whitfield, ordered a lock box the person I support as holding cabinet for new cycle medication very good price, but at the I was told it would be delivered on 6th or 7th of August, ok. I phone Screwfix on the 7th of August, they say there will be a delay in delivery it is now put back to the 15th of August, ok then I get a answer phone message on my mobile affectively saying I had tried to bring the delivery date forward and this could not be done and the product would be delivered on original date agreed, This means there late delivery has been shifted back as my fault as all information from them of delivery was entered into clients diary which is a legal document. Great still waiting,and waiting,and waiting. Purchase date 24th 7th 2024”

“For over a month I have had problems with my account. No-one at the helpline or IT has sorted the problem. The service has been abysmal. I will now look to use other stores to order what I need. Ten plus years of good service has been destroyed by incompetent office staff. Feel sorry for the guys and ladies who work in the stores being let down by office? Staff or are they WFH!”

“Ended up paying for two orders as first one did not go through but bank confirmed it has so avoid these Charlatans at all cost is my advise. How can they charge for duplicate order when only received one. What Onanists Screwfix are I have been really screwed by them. Avoid at all costs. Online chat useless and e mails ignored I will never use again.”
