What a joke 2 weeks since the flood and Aisha Tasnin says she called at 10:30am. The appointment was at 1:30pm. Nobody seen on the ring camera. Lies already and not even started yet. Hope this gets better but reading the reviews I don’t hold much hope. It’s also Friday 13th today.

This company is a disaster. Take a look at their ratings (99% negative), Yelp reviews (99% negative), and an "F" from the BBB. Combine that with my own experience, and you'll likely reach the same conclusion: avoid them at all costs. Remember, Sedgwick is a claims management service—not your insurer—and you are under no obligation to work with them. My experience is just one example of Sedgwick's long-standing incompetence and failure to effectively represent their clients and claimants. Sedgwick handles claims processing, including for America's Tire, a subsidiary of Discount Tire. In my case, America's Tire damaged a rare wheel on my $165,000 collectible car. After Discount Tire showed little interest in resolving the issue, the claim was referred to Sedgwick. America's Tire recommended a repair shop that declined the repair three times, citing challenges in matching the paint, texture, and their lack of experience with this specific wheel. After an exhaustive nationwide search for a restoration shop, no one would take on the job. The consensus was clear: all four wheels needed restoration to match texture, color, and finish, but no one was willing to do it. Sedgwick's incompetence is glaringly obvious. They offered a laughable $181.25 for the damaged wheel, and after countless delays, their only response was to escalate my claim to a so-called "collector car specialist" who recommended the wrong replacement wheels—wrong size, wrong material (cast aluminum), and incorrect (14x7) junkyard eBay wheels. This level of dysfunction is unacceptable. Sedgwick's claim worksheet was riddled with errors: wrong vehicle model, incorrect options, wrong wheels, wrong license, wrong condition, wrong value, and unnecessary repairs. They even included a wheel alignment (even though America's Tire never had the car) and a $195.64 replacement for a center cap that wasn't damaged or even present. Is this the representative corporate customers want? To top it off, Sedgwick included a release that was nothing more than an adhesion contract, which I categorically rejected. Whether you're considering Sedgwick to represent you, or you're an unfortunate claimant stuck dealing with them, be prepared for a likely outcome of litigation. This is hardly a badge of honor for Sedgwick or its clients. Claimants should remember they are not obligated to work with Sedgwick, and companies should think twice—this is the public face of their business.

This company is very inefficient and delay the process of claims. They don’t care to follow up on you unless you keep asking them. They also did violation of labor code so you ask the state work comp to complain about them. I will ask my employer use other claim company for work comp.

I got denied after a hospitalization even though my doctor completed the paperwork. The HR manager terminated me with no fault of my own. She fired me on my 50th birthday over the phone! No class.

If I could give this company NO stars that would be amazing. If I had known contacting Sedgwick for short term disability leave was going trigger my pain, stress and misery even more- I would've just suffered at work. This company is extremely TERRIBLE. I am trying to understand why does it take almost an entire week to review and approve an individual leave. Yet, it's so QUICK for them to want and need additional information. Would fax, email it over before you can even blink. Your examiner is never in! NEVER available. You have to go on a hunt to find them. Leave 2-3 voicemails and messages every 3-5 business days. Pray and HOPE you hear from someone. This company is so unprofessional . The process is VERY lengthly. Receiving pay from them is stressful. It's like you're begging for your OWN money. I literally went through every review on this website. I am glad that I am not the only one experiencing the same issues and or similar issues all 200+ ppl are dealing with. This company is a JOKE. Another thing is, when your examiner can't or don't want to approve your leave, they will send it to someone else to do so. So whats the point of an examiner ???? they will lie and decline your leave if its not enough information for THEM as the worker. not the company itself. This company needs to SHUT DOWN. Good luck on receiving pay. this company would go months without paying you. leaving you behind on bills and medical needs to use to recover.

I don’t know what to say about this company. But their ASS backwards, they approved me for a leave with the same exact reasons I’m trying to be approved for currently 5 1/2 months pregnant but approved me for an unpaid leave of absence with NO PROBLEM… when it comes to paying they just don’t want to at this point. I’ve had 4 different doctors send in paperwork, I’m in physical therapy 3 times a week… but they want me off UNPAID when I’ve worked there for 3 years. It just doesn’t make any sense to me whatsoever now I have to go back to work against doctors wishes to pay my bills because I’ve already been off 6 months unpaid waiting on them to make a decision and when I asked why is the medical evidence not enough although it was enough to initially approve my claim, I get no answer as to what “medical evidence” they are looking for. I truly don’t understand this company and how they make their decisions because again they initially approved my claim with no issues now things are 10x worse for me and I’m forced to go back to work because although all 4 of my doctors recommended me to be off work, they would rather approve me to be off unpaid with no issues than pay me. It’s truly heartbreaking that this is what I have to deal with. Delta should look into replacing this company because there is no logic behind they’re approval process I guess it’s just who you get and how they’re feeling that day.

I was on short term disability for almost 3 months and I had to call almost every week with issues getting my payment. I have put in numerous phone calls to try and get ahold of my rep with no luck. I haven't received a single call back from her. I escalated it to her supervisor with several calls as well with no results. I am currently waiting on a check that was supposed to be delivered over two weeks ago and I have placed several calls about that as well and nothing has been done. I haven't even been able to talk to a single person that could help. I am just told on every call that they will email my rep to contact me and it never has happened.

I purchased a room through booking dot com. It was a 10 years wedding anniversary with my dying wife. a very special occasion. I had to cancel the room because of loss of my job. I put a claim through and it got rejected. this is not fair at all. the insurer also has been absolutely rude and very personal on something so bad as losing my job, telling me I should have known that I should have lost my job......

Worst company to deal with they tell you they will call you back within one to two business days meanwhile three weeks go by and they close your claim with out saying a word then try to blame it on paperwork when you have records of them receiving said paperwork horrible customer service!

First of all what went wrong you would be better off saying what went right? These people do not follow the worker’s compensation rules at all. My first worker Bridget Thomas did not return my phone calls. I have a judgment in district court. Due to the injury 5 surgeries later and my boss not allowing me medical attention. My boss lost her job and the ombudsman got fired as well that was in charge of my case. they told me they was not disputing the extent of injury. I have had 3 cervical surgeries and still receiving shots and having problems with my neck. I also had a torn bicep and a labrium in my right shoulder. I went to my medical examination and they did not even send over my medical records for my arm. The doctor was not happy about this. I got the extent of injury approved for my medical examination which they didn’t want to happen. The doctor took photos and measured all of my scars. They also have had problems with sending out a check that’s owed to me. They tell me it’s being sent by regular mail, that “got lost in the mail” then they tell me August 6 that they are sending it priority and didn’t do that. It’s now August 21 and they do not call me or respond to my messages now. What they have been doing to me is inhuman. I wouldn’t wish this fighting for your life on anyone. They also have not paid any of my medical bills that I had to pay for. My husband and I are in serious debt from the credit cards we had to use.
