Paid for next day delivery of gas struts for boot lid. They did not ship next day, and are dodging email contact and phone calls. Do not deal with this company they will rip you off and not provide the service you pay for.

Absolutely woeful customer service! Do what they want, when they want if at all. Hang on phone for an age whole process ridiculous to say the least you have been warned!!!

Awful service.. worst ever experience **UPDATE** they still haven’t even delivered yet promised it once again. They will tell you it’s with the courier and you can’t have a refund but the courier never has received the item. Seriously the stars on this company are 1 star. They clearly have paid for reviews. I’m taking this further and reporting them. As everyone else is having the same experience I recommend doing the same as this should not be acceptable as they don’t even give refunds even though items aren’t shipped. Also reporting to my bank. These people are frauds** Awful service. Ordered at 9am for next day delivery as it states on the website. Nothing arrives and when called they had no clue where my item was and told me that I can’t have a refund as its been dispatched but they don’t know where it’s at. Would certainly avoid and not buy from here again. It’s worth paying that little extra not to have to deal with this company as you have a 40 mins wait to get through to be told “here’s your tracking number.. we can’t see anything on it but there you go. I now have to deal with other calls” No understanding of what impact this causes for the trade people who are would be their target customers. Read the reviews of other before buying.. I wish I had cause if your item is lost they won’t refund.

Very easy to get through to Sales to place an order, but when you try to follow it up it is impossible. If you try to explain your problem to Sales, they transfer you to a dead "Customer Service" line, which noone ever answers. I phoned Sales back on several occasions and said" Please listen to me, and do not cut me off" and they cut me off immediately. Is this company going bankrupt? It is hard to imagine that they can treat their customers like this, and stay in business Gas struts late on delivery, and noone will talk.

Full week later, order still processing when it is supposed to be next day delivery. Got two emails back when I raised the issue 3 times. Generic email, we will look into this etc. Last few emails they are ignoring. Incompetent, useless customer service team. At least try to rectify issues that wouldn’t have happened if you were dedicated to providing a good service to your customers.

I purchased a new SCV50 compressor, which didn't work from the start. On ispection, the air outket elbow from one of the two compressor was split and the plastic cover was damaged. The company didn't want to replace it and I wasn't prepared to repair a brand new item. Their customer service department appears to be made up of young with no engineering ability whatsoever, so after two months I was eventually refunded the full amount under the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as the unit was less than 30 days old when I complained. In fact I complained on day two of ownership. These compressors are made in China, not the UK. They are NOT tested by SGS and identical units can be purchased elsewhere in places like Machine Mart. Look at the Google reviews of this company, in particular concerning air compressors and you'll see numerous people all complaining obout the quality of the compressors and failure of SGS Engineering to deal with the complaints. I would strongly advise potential customers not to not buy anything from this company. Look at the number of SGS compressors on Ebay, going cheap because they are rubbish....... used just three times because the forth time they don't work !! I got my money back by going via my credit card company and a Section 75 and the help of the Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, who incidently, were brilliant.

Well, well! The previous review I have seen is basically exactly the same as myself. Milwaukee impact wrench. Plenty of phone calls and nothing done. Plenty of emails and no further forward. Everything date and time stamped and if no delivery or further progress then legal steps will have to be taken. I’ve read the terms of business and they have fallen down on each point. Wish I’d never dealt with them. Terrible service. Avoid at all costs in my opinion from my experience!!!!

Absolutely shocking customer service, ordered a Milwaukee impact wrench on 2/4/22 with next day delivery thinking it would arrive Monday or Tuesday at the latest but didn’t arrive. Emailed them on 6/4/22 for an update, no reply, emailed on 7/4/22 again no reply, phoned on 8/4/22 only to be told the item isn’t in stock and they don’t know when it will be in stock! The excuse for lack of communication was that their systems went down, ok fair enough so asked for a refund only to be told to expect 14 days for it to reach my bank account! Absolutely fuming as it was an item I urgently need but even worse I now need to wait 14 days to get my money back! My advice is buy your goods somewhere more professional. Very disappointed!

Beware , no one answers the phone or emails My item has not been sent paid via pay pal so I’ve opened a case. Must be something odd going on .

BANKRUPTCY??? They rarely answer the phone and when you get to the last stages of talking to a person they put down the phone. I'm concerned they are going bankrupt given this strange behaviour and avoidance techniques.

Ongoing saga for over 3 months trying to get a postage refund for returning a faulty item. Have made at least 60 calls and currently sitting at 59 emails. No end in site for the refund date.

Tried to get help with my generator that wouldn't start in August 2019. Never used apart from starting it up and running it for a hour twice a year. Ruby in their customer services gave me wrong information time and time again and after a month of hitting my head against a brick wall trying to get help I managed to speak to Dave Gordon, their General Manager. He was appalled by the service I had received and offered to take the machine back and repair it if it was possible. I sent a confirmation email referring to our conversation. Very soon after my wife was taken seriously ill with cancer. Then several months later a burst water pipe in lounge and then covid hit. The generator became a low priority over that time and had been put away and forgotten. Until the recent storms and we lost power for days. Referring back to the original email I sent a an email asking if the offer to help and the circumstances as to why I hadn't taken up his kind offer. Timeline :- 21st February 2022 : Sent email explaining the above .Acknowledgement of receipt, But no reply 24th February 2022 : Sent another email asking for a reply. No response. 1st March 2022: Spoke with Ryan he advised that Dave was away at an exhibition until next week, So went through it all with him as he couldn't find the original email and requested that I send it to him I'll make sure he gets it. I spoke with him again to confirm receipt and got an email:Ref 415418. 11th March 2022 : As still no response I rang again spoke with another member of staff, Again I went through it again who took my telephone number and advised me he would put a message on his desk, 18th March 2022 : Still no reply. Undeterred I rang again, again he was not in. I Went through the same process and told him how disgusted I was with the company and advised him I would be putting reviews on as many sites as I could find and write to their CEO Andy Wyatt, telling of my experience. He requested if I would hold off a couple of days and he would again get in contact with Dave Gordon. 21st March 2022. Still no reply. So my reviews are on their way. The irony is the service he was appalled about is only matched by his own.

Shortage in delivery with item missing, they wanted nothing to do with it and unhelpful. Had to go thru my bank to get my money back via chargeback/section 75. Never use them again. !

Great products at fair prices but bad customer care, poor communication from customer service. I relayed on next day delivery 3 days late costing time and reputation damage.

I went to buy a tool chest from SGS and added the item into my basket. When I tried to purchase it I couldn't access my item as their own website wouldn't allow it but when I finally could access it I noticed that the item had increased in price by £60! I called their sales team and was told that the price of steel had went up! To be fair the customer service agent that I'd spoken to was nice (even though I never received the email or call back that I was promised) so I just bought an even more expensive tool chest elsewhere. No love lost.

Excellent customer service. When item was not delivered on time, very quick response, company chased delivery company and delivered packed very well. If only all companies were the same!!

Awful experience, purchased a press from them, had nothing but problems from day one. Press was faulty to start with, they refused to send me a replacements even though it was a brand new item Find a more competent company to buy from, avoid this company..

Well Done SGS. Great Service and Prices. Firstly, I don't know how SGS produce such high quality parts at such low prices. Also, the company proved to be very efficient and both people I dealt with were so pleasant & helpful. When I thought I may have ordered the wrong part numbers for my XJS, I emailed SGS with the various numbers I found on the old parts & they came back promptly with confirmation I had the correct parts. New parts fitted easily and work perfectly. Well done SGS.

Brought a new compressor used 3 times ..buts lets say i used it every day for the 45 days i had it before it stopped building pressure, called them they asked for a whatsapp video of it not working then sent me a diagram and said take it apart and check the gaskets if we can help with anything else please don't hesitate to contact us...that was the end of there help it then took 5 calls to get them to answer the phone at which point they refused to replace the compressor said i had to send it back in the original packaging for inspection
