“They called me to at 7pm to say delivery will be late it will definitely still arrive. Couldn't even give an estimated time. 12 midnight passed with no delivery or update. and three days later delivery is o where to be seen and no contact has been made. absolutely atrocious!”

“If I could give 0 stars, I would. Shift claims to offer a delivery service but they fail on every level to do what they promise. I had to deal with Shift home delivery services as my order from IKEA order was too large to fit in the locker and so was offered the Shift delivery service. BIG MISTAKE.
Shift confirmed a delivery date and time, which came and went without my order arriving. No notifications, no updates online, and no answer from customer service OR the driver after repeated calls and attempts to get in contact. My order (worth hundreds of pounds) was MIA for over 24 hours with no updates. When I eventually got hold of customer service the following day and they said to me that the order was picked up by the driver the night before, but they also could not get in touch with him! So they had lost my order and the driver was missing too! Great!
Customer service was clueless, they never followed up, I had to call countless times and it was pure luck if they even picked up. When they eventually located my items (and their driver!) a day later, I was promised another delivery slot and time - which, you guessed it, they missed and did not deliver my items!
Eventually I had to go back to IKEA to fully cancel the order and get a refund, as my goods never arrived thanks to Shift! Who know what happened to them!
My advice: Avoid this company at all costs!”
“This business is a con. It's a shame IKEA is using them. I booked a FREE IKEA locker delivery with them which was due in two days. They then sent me an e-mail and tricked me to pay extra for same-day home delivery. This was 3-days ago, since then I have received no update about the delivery. There is no way to cancel the order and there is no customer service. Only a generic chatbot. No real person to write to or talk to.”
“SHIFT lost our mattresses, worth more than £1300, with no way to follow up, or contact support.
I bought two mattresses from IKEA Croydone, and asked Shift, the only possible option at IKEA store, to deliver it to my home. At the delivery day, I called the driver (from the email Shift had sent me), but he said he didn't find those, and said he is just a driver, doesn't know how to follow up.
I searched the entire Shift website: THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! Give it a try, no one is responsible.
I wrote a complaint, but either ignored or not even looked at.
Avoid them.

Paid extra money for a home delivery. The drivers appointed to my delivery constantly changed, noone picked up their phones to communicate, I escalated the issue and got no response from support team for any of the drivers I reported.
In the end I never received the package by them, they didn't refund me and I still haven't received any replies on any of my my customer support questions.
Basically they didn't do their services I paid for them to do, noone answered the phone for explanations and no refund.
