Food NEVER Delivered!! I wouldn't even give one star if I can. The restaurant was Royal Paan. Skip said the estimated time of delivery was 60 min at the time of the order, then a message said so and so picked up your order. After around 60 min it said estimated time of delivery was again 60 min and Gina picked up the order. was the first message a false message? I was confused. Then we were waiting for more than 2 hrs. I had friends came over, imagine the situation. After more than two hours, I was trying to reach out to someone, there is no number to talk to someone. Annoying. At that time, I got a message and email said it's delivered. I was like what, we went outside and checked. No one came to the door, it's clear because of the snow. It was all false messages and Gina never delivered food, but in my account, the status still says as delivered. There will be no one you can talk to. Chatting with them is annoying and they will react like nothing happened, simple said sorry. They provided no explanation as to what happened to the food ordered or they don't care about all the stressful waiting time while you are hungry or the embarrassment in front of your friends you had over or that you all are starving that night. They just think refunding your money which you will get after 10 business days will solve the issue. I had a very bad experience. Skip sent "food delivered" message when the food was never delivered.

My order never arrived. I chatted them up because they won't let you talk to a customer service representative on the phone. I got no help. No one reached out to me. Whatever the driver did with my meal is unknown. Very bad experience.

I have had so many bad experiences with skip the dishes I refuse to order from them anymore. I have ordered so many times and it says your order has been delivered and we have nothing, no food at all delivers. The drivers often don’t follow delivery instructions and there are often insurmountable language barriers. So done with this place!!

I had planned to cook Christmas Dinner for my 95-year-old father and my handicapped elderly mother. Unfortunately, due to a rare snowstorm the nearly two-hour drive was too treacherous. With no dinner restaurants open Christmas Day in their town, I ordered two Christmas Dinners on Christmas Eve. From Skip The Dishes. The driver left their two Christmas dinners on the wheelchair ramp, 20 feet from the door and didn’t ring the doorbell. My 95-year-old father went out an hour later wondering where dinner was and found it frozen outside. Thanks for ruining Christmas, Jerks.

I cancelled an order because i was billed on the wrong card but instead of reimbursing the amount on the card, skip scammed me with a store credit. A cancelled order should be an automatic refund not a store credit, opened a case with as soon as i found out the bill on the wrong card but customer service and operations team is useless. I re-ordered using a new card and was surprised that i was billed using the store credit and am back to my old issue. Several emails later, still nothing from skip.

Don't ever purchase a gift certificate!!! They take your money but don't email you the card or verification code. Next time skip Skip the Dishes and go somewhere else.

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. I never received my order. Talked to Amir and Shaina in the chat and they issued me 50% refund credit. This is fraud and there is no one to contact. I emailed support. No one is answering. This company should not be in business.

went down to pick up the food only to see the delivery guy leaving with an empty bag (?) ; rushed after him and asked him " hey skip! I am here to pick up my order"; he replied: " I already delivered my order" totally confused ; no one else there except me. WTF. left a request on the website for someone to call me : nothing. Use skip a lot unfortunately and this has happened in form or another way too many times!

I ordered over $40 worth of food. It said delivered but was never actually left at my door. I checked the house next door to see if it was a mistake. No food anywhere. I reached out to Skip on their app and it said 'no representatives were online to speak with me'. I tried an hour later, then again a couple hours later. I tried for 4 days straight. Finally found an email address for their customer service and they replied saying they only issue refunds within the first 48 hours. Apparently when you message on the app and it says 'someone will get back to you shortly', they don't keep any record of you reaching out. I'll never order from them again but buyer beware. Apparently it's not uncommon to happen and their representatives seem to not care about customer retention.

wish I could give zero because this service is that bad, missing food even after long waiting times and delays on top of that. I Waited an hour for an order that never arrived, and when I requested a refund they denied, literally had to go through 20-25 minutes if hassle with customer chat service to get a refund. and they should seriously consider providing some kind of option to connect with the delivery driver. the service has gone down in the past few months and how! seriously use ubereates you might have to wait a little longer but atlas you know when your food is coming because you can contact the delivery person.

The never delivered my order and refuse to resolve the issue. I ordered alcohol which requires by mandate for the driver to check government issued ID that matches the name on the order. 10 hours later, management still refuses to contact me until the close their case which intals speaking to their driver. Their driver either a: never followed protocol and checked ID and delivered to the work address or b: kept the order for themselves becuase I had already spoke with the store and confirmed that my order was picked up 10 hours ago. So now I wait for a driver who refused to answer his phone on shift to answer his phone off shift on a Sunday night and then maybe I might be so privileged to be able to speak to a manager about the case and not customer service with their hands tied to a script and unable to give solutions

Brutal...just like everyone else on here I ordered, paid, and received no food even though it said it was delivered. I confirmed that my delivery address was correct, and it was. They have supposedly issued a refund, which I won't see go up to a week. Don't use this service.

Twice now I have ordered and the food has been inedible. Once the driver left it in the ground in my driveway in the rain despite the fact there is a chair for deliveries at my front door. Yesterday I recieved a pizza with no sauce with several pieces having neither sauce not cheese and the most they will offer is 50% credit. So I've paid 1/2 price and also now have to get more food as I'm not going to eat wet food that's been on the ground or pizza that I have to choke down as it's been made with no sauce. Horrible! I will be using another service from now on

The worst!!! 9 times out of 10 the order is wrong or gets cancelled after waiting an hour or more for the food.

I placed an order and upon receiving it I noticed one of the items was not cooked (chicken). I immediately contacted skip support and the best they could offer was a 50% refund on that item. I would have expected that item to be refunded in full considering I could not eat it.

Over the past few month this service was gone way down. Missing food, long wait times, food not delivered etc which I get happens but their customer service is the worst. Log a complaint they just throw a $5 credit at you and end the chat. Recently a friend had her food not delivered, she re-ordered, logged a complaint, the staff ended the chat and then told the diver to dispose of the food. Luckily the diver was just outside and she did get her food but that just seemed ridiculous. Maybe the staff are super overloaded but still, so many other food delivery apps out there to give your business too.
