The delivery time is very lengthy compared to other companies with similar items. I paid on the 8th of October, and the order was processed 10 days later, then arrived on the 28th.
What made everything terrible was that they sent the wrong item (a chair instead of a shelving unit)!
The incident process is even worst. You need to hand sing a document assuring you are in goodwill (who would put themselves through an incident process?), then send 3/4 pictures, TWICE.
Once this avoidable paperwork is done, DHL comes to our place to get the item (and they don't even give you a receipt that they got the item).
While dealing with all this, the SKLUM customer service notified me that the correct item wouldn't be sent until they don't receive back the wrong thing!!!
This is very unfair as the mistake is on them. So now I need to wait another 20-30 days before getting the correct item (if they manage to send the one I bought...)

“I ordered 4 Rattan High Stools from SKLUM, order: DJYDNPXUT
After waiting over 2 weeks for the order to be delivered (despite not being advised of any delays), I received the items yesterday, only to discover that the packaging was broken, and one of the leg protectors was missing. But, most importantly, the seats delivered were for a garden chair range and were not the correct stool chairs I had ordered. As such, they do not fit on the stool legs and are completely useless.
I emailed SKLUM highlighting the issue, providing photographic evidence, and politely requesting that SKLUM deliver the correct parts within a week or refund me in full. The request was time sensitive so I asked for confirmation of receipt and action by close of business the following day.
I did not receive a response so I called SKLUM on their quoted phone number the following day (today) only to be advised that I have to go through a convoluted claims process to get the issue resolved. There was no acknowledgment of the complete mess they had made of the order or a willingness to rectify the situation. I was advised that the process involved completing an online form (duplicating all of the information already provided), then a review of the claim and, if accepted, collection and assessment of the items, before replacement items or a refund could be issued. I advised that this needed to be done immediately but person at SKLUM who I spoke to would not commit to this.
I have subsequently had to complete the online form and re-provide my information, only for SKLUM to advise that they will respond "to advise of the progress of the claim" within 3-5 working days. Following that I will no doubt have to wait up to two weeks for the items to be collected, then assessed, before a refund can be issued.
My offer for SKLUM to simply send me the correct items by the end of the week has long expired, despite this being totally reasonable and in the interests of both parties.
Instead, I am now stuck with two extra large boxes full of completely useless furniture that I did not order. The stools cost a considerable amount of money and I need to order replacements from elsewhere urgently, so SKLUM's complete lack of co-operation on this matter is particularly frustrating.
I understand that mistakes happen but it is incumbent on the service provider who makes such a fundamental and monumental mistake to acknowledge and rectify it quickly. Failure to do so is indicative of a very poor customer service culture.
I very rarely write reviews unless I receive exceptional or terrible service, so big congratulations to SKLUM who have achieved the latter. Anyone who values decent customer service should avoid this company at all costs.”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM SKLUM THEY DO NOT HONOUR WARRENTIES. Ordered an outdoor extendable aluminium table from Sklum and in less than 1 year the table finish faded on the surface and the fixing were starting to rust under the table (note table was covered for 6 months and only used a few times). Contacted Sklum through our online account via a warranty claim form. They responded and said "As observed in the images provided, this is not a manufacturing defect and has been due to use/wear and tear, Excluded from the warranty are products with damage resulting from: -Improper use or misuse, damage caused by inadequate care and maintenance. For this reason we are unable to provide you with a solution and have closed your case."
So they are saying we have over used the table and not taken care of it. In our view a specifically designed outdoor table should not rust and the paint should not fade after only a few months in day light, how does this company get away with this nonsense, furniture ombudsman next on the list.
I have tried to call them several times over the last few months and their phone lines are turned off, how convenient great way to avoid customers. By the way this was not a cheap table at £669.94.”
“Goods arrived broken and Sklum doesn't solve the issue. I bought two wooden bedside tables for the price of 200€. One of them arrived broken from back and front, and both appeared to be worst quality ever. They arrived extremely dirty as well. Sklum refused to give me any solution. My advice is that you avoid buying from them!!”

“Scam company. I was delivered damaged goods by Sklum. I didn’t report it to Sklum within 48 hours so they are refusing to engage with me to resolve the issue. This is not in line with consumer rights under European law. They also make it impossible to contact them to deal with the issue. I had to go to trustpilot and leave a negative review before anyone would get in touch with me. Avoid this company. They have zero customer service.”

“To be clear, this company has a terrible customer service and is not recommended if you need to schedule deliveries. Hands off, pretty much the most unprofessional thing that has happened to me in 20 years of online orders. On 24.6 the goods were delivered with a delivery time of 10 days, unfortunately the delivery did not match the order. The company cannot be reached by phone, e-mails are ignored or thrown away immediately. There is only the possibility to apply for the return via an online form, but some photos are required for this. Then it worked, the return was confirmed by email and the freight company was commissioned. Actually, I assumed that the correct product would then be sent promptly, after all it was an error on the part of SKLUM. Unfortunately not, the company is only partially responsible for own mistakes. The correct shipment is only initiated when the return delivery arrives at SKLUM. On 3.8. Then after almost 8 weeks the ordered goods were delivered, unfortunately very poorly finished, on the front the wood was repaired with putty. Deliveries are made without prior agreement (furniture), on the day of delivery you will receive an SMS that the product will be delivered without being able to influence anything. Dear SKLUM, please sell nationally in Spain, it may work there. International business, you have to learn that first.”
