I have just been sent a text message from SKY TV that they are increasing prices for customers AGAIN in September 2024. In April they put the price up by a whopping 6%, now they are going to do it again. Why are they allowed to keep doing this! They have recently been advertising sky sports + and they promised us at NO EXTRA COST! What a complete lie that was! I'm fuming and I will look to leave my so-called contract in September. Sky customers, you have been warned.

At the end of April 2024 I once again spoke to sky about my monthly bill rising , they said there was a annual price starting April and one of my products had ended so once again renegotiated a new monthly price going forward . Here we go again my June payment was increased around £8 to £86 there a terrible company to deal and for sure when my contract ends this time I will be moving all my products and broadband to another provider.

Omg seriously blood pressure raising customer service staff. No one knows what they are doing, tgey cancelled my sky engineer by accident, apparently and can't re book me until friday, broadband box has gone to new address already and is half in the letter box half out according to a royal mail photo. Why would they send it there as they know I don't move till next week ? Give me strength, new broadband provider it is going to be, and the minimum sky package also.

I’ve ordered a Sky broadband, waited for 10 days for the engineers to come, on the go live date noone came, but I got a message that no visit was needed.. I’ve waited.. Yhe next day I still had no broadband. Then I called the customer service, they said I had to book an engineer visit, it took 3 days till they came. A young man said that there was a problem and he needed access to the cupboard in the block of flats I live in. The cupboard door was locked, so it took me two days to find the key. And so I had to call them and book an engineer visit again. Here you go- another (smarter) young man came in another two days and solved the problems in 5 minutes. I had a delay in service that was not my fault, it costed me loads of my nerves.. I could not work from home, my childdren couldn’t study at home.I asked for the compensation, but Sky was silent. It’s been 3 months, I wrote numerous complaints, but still nothing.. Awful company!

Back in October 2023 started with issues with very poor broadband. Multiple engineer visits and unable to resolve. With open reach installing new fibre cables in my area, I decided to hold on and wait for this service to be available to me. As I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, I thought it was the right thing to do. How wrong was I!!!! Had the install done 2 weeks ago, started of great. For they 1st 15-30 mins. Lightning speeds of over 900 mps. Unfortunately that's was very short lived and I have been getting very poor service since. I'm lucky if I get 25-30mps. I will be making full use of the right to cancel with the minimum guaranteed speed is 580. Very disappointed customer. Do not buy, unless you enjoy buffering streams and really slow Internet.

It is not just Sky that are bad, all tele- communication companies seen to be unregulated, you sign up for your contract, they can increase the price several times, and you are basically stuck. It will cost a considerable sum frequently to end your contract early. These companies still use door and street selling, my problems started with BT, two reprsentatives knocked, offered a far cheaper package than Sky, advised they would take care of everything, cancel my direct debit and inform Sky, even advised that BT would cover any cancel contract fees. This was not the case, BT granted me £100 off my bill as a good will gesture. Basically do not trust any door step or street approach, they catch you off guard, they receive commission so are willing to go to considerable lengths to sell the product. If there is a problem the ombudsman applies the law on the contract, as a individual against these companies chances of a fair outcome seems slight. All tele-com companies contracts need to be entered in to with great care.

they say data is not limited. Rubbish download 2 games then painfully slow for the following 2 weeks which knackered my wife as she works from home on the computer. Dont mind so much if they limit if just let me know first and dont lie.

I was a Sky customer for some 14 years, not because they are a good company to deal with, but they a very hard to get rid of. You try to cancel and they offer an amazing discount, and they seem to have some way of manipulating you in to staying. I ended my contract and was charges 6 month when I had no service, infact the box was returned. Refund no chance, I took them to Cedr and was awarded a £100. Sky defended any refund like their very existance depended on it, there was five Sky operatives working on the defence, they used contract law on their agreement, and every trick to avoid refunding. A truely disgusting company to deal with, customer service changes if to complain to their conflict negotiation team (they watch too many of their own movies) these are bullies, and try to make you accept a tiny refund under threat of charging for non returned equipment £120 (it can be purchased on ebay for £49).

Just want yo make people aware, that the sky mobile phone warranty is non existant. You have yo pay £316.00. Every time. I have a flip phone that has broken. Keeps turning off on closing. The repair company they use is called ingram. They will not look at any device if there is any minute damage to the screen. I have a small mark realy hard to see. And they refuse to even look at the phone unless I pay. I can't believe that this teeny dig is the problem my phone won't work. Their excuse is the screen needs to be replaced as it could shatter whilst being repaired. Honestly there is nothing there. I am really angry that if they can do this to my phone that has minimal damage they can do this ro everyone. People be aware, get phone insurance as sky is non existent. Had my device returned to me not repaired and the courier did. Left it hanging out the letter box.

Been with sky over 15 years. Im a “platinum member” not sure what the benefits are. My contract term ended this month and the monthly price increase was ridiculous. Contacted to discuss, even suggested if I renew for 18 months again what can be done but no price movement. My wife generated a quote (as a new customer) with like for like to what we currently have and it worked out £30 cheaper for 18 months. Firstly, I didn’t think companies could offer “new” customers better deals than existing for the same product? Secondly, when challenged this, zero interests discussing, same spiel, “this is a new customer deal only”

Been with sky for over 7 years. Upgraded to the next package for faster speed internet. Well cuts out for 20 mins at a time, have phoned Sky endless times they just don't care, absolutely disgusting customer service. Sky get your act together and treat your customers with respect as they pay your wages.
