they say data is not limited. Rubbish download 2 games then painfully slow for the following 2 weeks which knackered my wife as she works from home on the computer. Dont mind so much if they limit if just let me know first and dont lie.

I was a Sky customer for some 14 years, not because they are a good company to deal with, but they a very hard to get rid of. You try to cancel and they offer an amazing discount, and they seem to have some way of manipulating you in to staying. I ended my contract and was charges 6 month when I had no service, infact the box was returned. Refund no chance, I took them to Cedr and was awarded a £100. Sky defended any refund like their very existance depended on it, there was five Sky operatives working on the defence, they used contract law on their agreement, and every trick to avoid refunding. A truely disgusting company to deal with, customer service changes if to complain to their conflict negotiation team (they watch too many of their own movies) these are bullies, and try to make you accept a tiny refund under threat of charging for non returned equipment £120 (it can be purchased on ebay for £49).

Just want yo make people aware, that the sky mobile phone warranty is non existant. You have yo pay £316.00. Every time. I have a flip phone that has broken. Keeps turning off on closing. The repair company they use is called ingram. They will not look at any device if there is any minute damage to the screen. I have a small mark realy hard to see. And they refuse to even look at the phone unless I pay. I can't believe that this teeny dig is the problem my phone won't work. Their excuse is the screen needs to be replaced as it could shatter whilst being repaired. Honestly there is nothing there. I am really angry that if they can do this to my phone that has minimal damage they can do this ro everyone. People be aware, get phone insurance as sky is non existent. Had my device returned to me not repaired and the courier did. Left it hanging out the letter box.

Been with sky over 15 years. Im a “platinum member” not sure what the benefits are. My contract term ended this month and the monthly price increase was ridiculous. Contacted to discuss, even suggested if I renew for 18 months again what can be done but no price movement. My wife generated a quote (as a new customer) with like for like to what we currently have and it worked out £30 cheaper for 18 months. Firstly, I didn’t think companies could offer “new” customers better deals than existing for the same product? Secondly, when challenged this, zero interests discussing, same spiel, “this is a new customer deal only”

Been with sky for over 7 years. Upgraded to the next package for faster speed internet. Well cuts out for 20 mins at a time, have phoned Sky endless times they just don't care, absolutely disgusting customer service. Sky get your act together and treat your customers with respect as they pay your wages.

I was made redundant in September 2022 and rang Sky to say I would struggle to pay the offered no help and my wife said she would pay however they then unbeknowingly signed us to another 18 month contract. I cancelled the TV basic package and broadband packages on 8th April as they run till 15th May and 30th June respectively. Our bill has gone up from £75.50 to £88.70 yet the 1st April increase is a total of £8.00, not £13.27. It will go up to £94.00 next month, then £38.00 for just the broadband but we will have no service from Sky at that time. So I rang Sky today who said I had not cancelled any contracts, yet I have confirmation e mail from them on 8th April. I have been a customer for 18 years now. They could not justify the bill and said we will get the difference back when contract ends and we return their equipment. If I could give no stars I would. Clandestine Onanists are the only way to describe Sky.

If I could put 0 I would. I’ve unfortunately been a sky customer for 2 months now, and the amount of times I’ve managed to watch sky tv has still been 0. Still calling daily to try and get this resolved, waiting for callbacks from yet another manager or another person promising to get it fixed and yet still no response, still no money back for paying for a service Im yet to receive. Do yourselves a massive favour, never go with sky I for one will never advice someone to part with their hard earned money for such a poor company who can’t even do a simple task of sending out a working puck. Go elsewhere.

Sky ‘scoverageiof tennis is abysmal. You are watching good matches with all the well known players when without warning you are switched to another match god knows where and you are watching two guys you’ve never heard off. Then it switches again and it’s at the end of a match you would like to have seen. Very very disappointing. We are paying too much for rubbish. Sky seems to have gone back in time.Do they not know that most things are HD without having to pay extra. Be leaving as soon as possible and regret ever getting Sky.

I lkke having sky but i dont like how they give you a rubbish dral once your contract expires . Wont match my broadband deal with that of a new customer . No where near in fact . We can create our own tv package with seperate streaming services and seperate broadband when will they learn to look after steady paying customers.

Dealing with this company is very unpleasant. They do not listen and their only interest is trying to sell you more products to boost their profits. When taking out the service they cannot do enough for you but after that they have no interest. When my contract is up in 12 months it will be a pleasure to leave them as no longer will I put up with their antics. My advice would be very careful and look for much better value for money where they respect customers

Tried for four days to get lost access to my sky yahoo emails with a variety of sky staff. Some were nice, one was very rude. Despite lots of valiant effort ( notably from Danny- thanks for all that effort!) and some temporary fixes- for 30 minutes it worked fine- I am still unable to log in to my emails on my PC and when I try I am blocked on my mobile for good measure. I have reached the conclusion that the system is rubbish and nobody at Sky can or wishes to fix it. They don't actually know what is causing the problem. My own view is that the system has warped my details on the server and there is no future for me here. I am going to transfer to another provider that can provide an email service. Gmail probably. Goodbye rubbish Sky email. I feel sorry for the Sky staff that have to firefight all the time.

Absolute disgrace and Rubbish service, all I can say is AVOID SKY your better off with virgin media. I took out a only broadband package which was supposed to be the best package costing me £48 month it was absolute rubbish the speed and everything with was not up to standard, and the family was complaining so we considered closing the account I called them up, and a KAREN was being so unhelpful and told me that we have to pay £250 yes that's right £250 unbelievable to close the account and return the broadband box.. unbelievable please who ever is thinking getting sky is going to make a very costly mistake. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid... Extortionists that's what they are.

Dealt with the rudest woman. Just kept repeating " what do you want me to do to resolve your complaint " When I said " I want a working landline " just kept repeating " that's not a resolution . When I asked what I should say she replied that she couldn't tell me what to say . Exasperated I obtained a complaint reference ended the call .

My Sky Plus HD box suddenly stopped recording and the pause function did not work. I contacted Sky customer services who after many painstaking tests from their end advised the hard drive in my box seemed to be the problem. It was an old box so I was not that surprised. They offered to install Sky Q but I really wanted to carry on with Sky Plus. The lady advised I could source one from the internet and Sky would reimburse me for the cost. So far so good. The first box arrived from Amazon but would not work at all. I spoke to the retailer who advised some boxes suffered damage in transit and I received a full refund from Amazon. I found another box and decided to pick it up myself just to ensure it was not damaged in transit. This one worked but did not let me watch Sky sports or several other programs I had access to. I contacted Sky customer services and after a few checks they advised they needed to send me another viewing card. They did however confirm Sky would reimburse me for the refurbished box. The card came a few days later but was no better. Upon calling Sky again I was offered another viewing card but could not see how that could help. During the call the latest customer service person advised Sky would not reimburse me for the refurbished box. By this time my faith in Sky was hitting rock bottom. I asked her to explain why the previous agents had lied but to no avail. She kept putting me on hold so she could talk to her supervisor and I got rather fed up by this time said I was seriously thinking of leaving Sky and asked to talk directly to a supervisor. She said she would transfer me but she actually put me through to the cancellation department, which actually was great. I spoke to a guy called Kevin who after hearing me rant on about the way I had been dealt with, simply took the details of my box and the viewing card and refreshed the system from his end. It was like a Eureka moment, everything was working just as it should! I asked Kevin about the reimbursement request from two prior customer service agents and he did advise this was not aware of this normally happening but having checked with his supervisor he agreed they could give me the option of having the refund or an improved monthly reduced charge, which financially was far better. I took the reduced charge and even extended my contract term which also had the advantage of the reduced monthly payment. Kevin really did put my faith back in Sky and although at some stage I know I will have to move on to Sky Q I am still very happy with the service and value for money that Sky provide especially when you get the right people helping. Thanks Kevin you are a star.
