Today I went into Specsavers and Hana very kindly repaired my glasses for free. The hinge was broken. It was a very positive experience and I am very grateful, Thank you Sarah Palmer.

Specsavers Braintree were fantastic on my recent visit. I was concerned about a change in my vision but after thorough tests my mind was put to rest by Nicole who explained in minute detail what was going on. Superb service. Also by George & Jayden.

Very very disappointed. I have worn glasses since being a teenager so I know when eye tests are done correctly. This is my first experience of Specsaver home visit. No continuity, two people came to test, a different person to choose (sell) glasses and a third to check they fit (they don’t). A complete waste of money. I feel angry, no duty of care shown. Do not use them.

I went in for an eye test. Everything went well until I started to choose my frames. I was advised to get two pairs of varifocals made for the price of one. But when she priced one pair up, it came to a ridiculous amount. It was going to cost me around £280 - £320 for two pairs! Also they have six types of varifocals, which is just milking it, and they don't tell you which type of varifocals will benefit you..! So I declined politely, and took my prescription to another optician, where today, I paid just £120 for two pairs of varifocals glasses. I will receive them in two weeks time and I'm looking forward to it.

Fantastic service from start to finish at Spec Savers Harborne. After a bad experience at a rival, I've converted. Amazing value, great choice of frames, but most importantly, the staff are brilliant.

My mum has just had a visit from Tony ( I think) Specsaver home visits, about her reading glasses. He was really lovely he had lots of patience and helped her understand what she needed.

I purchased my spectacles from their stores for many years with good service. Now being house bound I decided to use their at home eye tests. 2 people came and performed the test and I selected my new glasses. 10 days later they delivered them to my home. The service was excellent.

We were very happy with how they treated my 92 yr old mum on a home visit but when it came to pricing she chose 2 frames which if you purchase in-store includes the lenses but by the time we had to pay instead of £249 for both frames and £30 for home visit cost we knew nothing about the glasses ended up £469 because the lenses were priced separately. They said this was because the lenses needed to be thinned down but this was never explained until we enquired why it was so much.As my mum never goes out the lenses really wouldn't have made any difference to her. I think they are just charging for what they want as it is an elderly person

I went to the Pudsey store in Leeds. Had ny eyes tested, and collected my glasses the week after. I could see better without them on. Went back and asked for a retest. The manager told me that the Optician said to reduce them a bit. ( a stab in the dark then) I went back again, only to find the same problem. I got a refund and went to an independent Opticians. It turns out my prescription was wrong! I will never go to them again. I've contacted their customer service team, as I want refunding for ny private eye test, as Specsavers wouldn't give me a new test, and the prescription was wrong. Disgusting company. I wouldn't go near them again. Only after your money, they don't care about your eyesight.

Absoloutely disgusted that you rip old people off by not telling them when they make a home visit appointment like my mum did that 2 people would be turning up , each charging £30 & then another £30 when she gets her glasses, so £90 already & then tell her she's got dry eyes & that's another £8 so a charge of £98 when an eye test costs £25 & being 88 she could have got the drops free from her doctors. You should be ashamed of yourselves ripping off poor vulnerable people. I have no problem with the price of the glasses but there is no mention of these chages on any of your adverts & I am taking this further.

Not a great experience, I bought 2 pairs of glasses , I struggled to adjust to either. Took them back a few weeks later, and they explained the glasses were too big for my face. I ordered another pair, these arrived a couple of weeks later. Went yo collect them, these were even worse. Again the lady measured them and could see they were not made correctly. I got a refund for both pairs (300 pounds) I will not use spec savers again- interestingly, tge same thing was experienced by my husband a couple of years ago when he was given the wrong prescription, and talking to friends, the same has happened to them. I am sorry, friendly customer service doesnt make up for knowing what your doing.

Specsavers is just selling glasses, they never care about your eye. The business model is skewed towards milking their customers, selling services that does not benefit overall customer eye health. I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed after 4 visits of going in circles.
