Had appointment today 19/09/2024 got there on time to be told there was an hour delay as they were running late . If we had been late it would have been oh dear can’t see you etc . The lady on reception was rude when hubby told her we couldn’t wait , they think that customers have nothing to do , I am disabled but had to go with hubby as he has onset dementia he can’t remember he’s lost the ability to recognise where he is , we also put my daughter out as she drove us in and picked us up and the damn receptionist had the nerve to say “ well you will have to make another appointment “ well guess what Specsavers we shall definitely never step over your threshold ever again you’re a joke

FREE CONTACT LENS TRIAL (ONLY FOR £25) - DISHONEST COMPANY Advertised free contact lens trial in Walton on Thames. My wife went in, asked a few times if it's absolutely free, they confirmed it is. Saw her recent glasses prescription from another optician didn't do any eye test. Told her she doesn't need a new lenses eye test. Then forced her to pay a "consultation charge" of £25! She paid and then later checked the receipt, it said the charge was for an eye test! When we went back to challenge the charge and they fist tried to patronise and made faces. Started talking themselves up instead of apologising for charging incorrectly. Never have I ever seen such a condescending staff on specsavers. Time for specsavers to start sending their staff to some professional behavior and honest conduct training.

The service at Specsaver Camden High Street has dropped a lot in quality of care and service. I have been a customer for 14 years and I have never been treated so badly. 2 weeks ago I had an eyes test and I had to wait 40 minutes and the attention was not very good, but today with my contact lens test it was worse, not only the 40 minute wait again but the quality of the test, the person who did the test The test took only less than a minute for me to read some letters, when I asked her if she would only do that, she told me that I didn't need any more exams (after 2 years of my last test and I remember it was more complete), the treatment of this person She was not very friendly and then when I paid for the contact lenses and the test, I told her that I was not happy with the test and she became aggressive and raised her voice in front of the staff and customers, she told me that I was rude by telling her that I was not happy with the test (but I only told her that in private), when I asked to speak to the manager, they told me that he was in a meeting (they didn't even go to ask), unfortunately I will pick up my glasses and contact lenses next week and it will be the last time I go to Specsaver, there is no justification for treating a customer (or anyone) badly, it hurts that their good reputation from years ago has turned into bad customer service.

I was in the Mayfair store on September 11, 2024. While waiting for a service representative, I heard a call with Jude. She is so amazing, her customer service was 1000% awesome. I hope her manager knows what a gem she is and needs to be kept within the folders of the company. I would highly recommend her any day. I have had in the past previous great experience with other staff, and believe the company is doing something right. Thank you Jude! Good luck to your bright future in Customer Service.

I had bio vocals and couldn’t get on with them, I went back to specksavers Patchway in Bristol and was seen by assistant named Sarah and she was absolutely wonderful, she was able to sort out my issue there and then and I even ended up with some money back that I had saved, overall my experience here today was fully satisfactory and brilliant service from Sarah, I have full faith in this company and store

I had an eye test last year, after being sold two pairs of glasses I couldn’t see out of, I’ve been for another eye test today and my eye sight has improved and they won’t admit the test was previously done wrong, nor will they swap my lenses to the new prescription (clear lense)

Claire from Specsavers Chorley called me and left a message requesting me call her back which I did when I called the store they knew nothing about it which is shocking and I knew I hadn't made an appointment because I was at work that day. Maybe they got the wrong person and the guy I spoke with wasn't sure either poor to say the least.

The doctor and staff at Specsavers, St. Laurent Center, are amazing! I confused my appointment and showed up 2 hours early and yet they generously accommodated me in that moment. I would recommend specsavers to anyone.

Had an appointment booked at Lowestoft today 5/9/24 - was kept waiting 45mins for the Optician - at no point was I kept up to date as to when I would be attended to. Marked deterioration in service since my last appointment a couple of years ago. Have lost a 15 year customer and will now use Vision Express as does my wife after a similar very negative experience with Specsavers some years ago !

Thought I would try Specsavers in Tenterden due to the reviews and I wish I hadn't the staff seem friendly enough but it's all high pressured sales baloney after 2 weeks picked up my glasses tried for 2 weeks couldn't get used to the prescription so I took them back had another eye test the young optometrist said my brain was at fault, (I've never felt so insulted) she then gave me a weaker prescription, 2 weeks later I got them back and they still aren't right so I can't be messing about anymore and will go to a proper experienced optician, while I was in the shop another customer was complaining out loud with the same complaint as me, so be warned GO ELSEWHERE

Today I visited SpecSavers Market Drayton Shropshire today. The customer care I had from Holly was exceptional. People are very quick to criticise but not to give credit when it’s due. Well done Holly .

Specsavers in North Street Brighton offer excellent service both with eyes and hearing. Nick at North Street Brighton always offers excellent service when dealing with glasses etc. I have absolute praise for Kori in Audiology in North Street Brighton who always gives excellent service. I thoroughly recommend this company and if you use them you will not be disappointed.

My 88year old husband with mobility issues had an appointment with Specsavers of Harrogate at 12.00on Friday 30 August. He was given an appointment card for level access. He arrived on time for the appointment and was told his time was 1pm and would have to come back in 1 hour which wasn't convenient. At no stage did anyone appologise or admit that it was their mistake. Surely their staff should have been trained to deal politely with customers.

I went to Specsavers and I had the best experience, they said my glasses would come in about 3 weeks and the came in 1 week, the workers were very nice, cheap glasses and for kids you can get glasses from $99.

So had the eye test after 15 min wait asked sit n wait for assistance, 45 minutes later I asked at front of shop what I was waiting for, was asked what I came in for, said an eye test, have had it 45 mins ago ? Oh one moment ,3 or 4 people were spoken to all looking at me as if questioning, then was told the clip board had been mis laid ?? I pointed out I couldn't wait much longer as had another appointment Andrew the assistant agreed I could come back anytime and he would sort it phoned on the sunday to see if had sorted passed to 3 people non knew nothing, was assured Andrew was back in tomorrow and would call me ,now is 19.47 monday eve and no call absolutely terrible and a waste of my important time ,how? The shop is only so big ? How could a clipboard go missing? Am going to seek legal advice on thinking that this is medical negligence, was the longbridge branch Birmingham,

Went in because of the 2 for one offer - quoted £140 for one pair (£100 frames and +£40 for thinner lenses) - £280 for exact same second pair. How is this allowed? Complained and got a garbled phone message promising to 'explain' how my quote was reached. Bottom line - if exact same glasses are same price again the offer is false advertising.. I'm angry that I've been conned.

I visited Specsavers Torquay at their Union Street Branch today for my 2 year eyesight check-up. I also had the OCT test. I was seen very quickly firstly for the OCT test then by Aston Harvey, whom I have not seen before. I have been for many years a customer of Specsavers and have always been completely satisfied with all the staff and opticians I've had appointments with. Aston Harvey was 100% professional and I would thoroughly recommend him, not only was he thorough but explained everything I asked about the OCT test, particularly as I was interested at the information on screen. He is a young chap and a credit to Specsavers and will go far in his career. Even better, after 2 years I was pleasantly surprised that my eyesight had not changed from previous check-ups so did not necessitate the expense of new glasses.
